Direction Workshop By Pankaj Parashar At Global Festival Of Films 2009
The visitors, students, media persons all were very lucky to be the part of Direction Workshop conducted by the renowned Director Pankaj Parashar on the second day of 2nd Global Festival of Documentary Films 2009 at Noida Film City.
Talking about his success and failure of films and projecting his films on screen the veteran Director discuss the ups and downs of the director in the Industry. Pankaj Parashar who has directed some of the finest films like Jalwa, Chalbazz, Himalayaputra, Meri Biwi Ka Jawab Nahin, Banaras and popular TV serial Karamchand along with 400 advertisement films for best of the companies.
“You have to get involved with the project, treat it as your child and then only you can give best to the film” said Pankaj Parashar “Workshops like this during the film festivals create the awareness among the masses about the hard work and fire one has to go through while making the films” said Sandeep Marwah, the president of festival. The session finished with the question answer session and the interview by Radio Noida 107.4FM.

Acting Workshop For Students At Global Festival Of Films 2009
The well known actor and a performer in feature films like Wanted, Aaloo Chat, Sing Is King, Dhamaal ect. Manoj Pahwa gave acting tips to the students of Asian Academy Of Film And Television and Asian School Of Media Studies on his visit to the 2nd Global Festival of Documentary Films 2009 at Noida Film City.
A special workshop had been planned at Marwah Studios where students had the full privilege to interact and ask questions related to carrier in acting and how to manage the affairs in the Film and TV industry.
“We are happy that this kind of workshop could be planned during Global festival of films, this makes the whole festival more interesting and creative in its nature” said Sandeep Marwah, the president of Marwah Studios, a creative enterprises and the sponsors of Global Festival.
“I am feeling more elevated that I have been given this kind of duty in International event to guide the young group of actors, My relation with Marwah Studios is very long, when I started my carrier at Delhi” said Manoj Pahwa .
Later, the president of the festival Sandeep Marwah honoured Manoj Pahwa with the life membership of International Film And Television Club.

Sandeep Marwah Honored At 33rd Cairo International Film Festival
The renowned Asian Media Personality Sandeep Marwah, the President of Marwah Studios has been honored at 33rd Cairo International Film Festival and has been introduced to the World Cinema and its fraternity as the producer of largest number of short films in the World and President of one of the most successful film schools of the World.
Established since 1976, the Cairo International Film Festival is classified as a category “A” festival as recognized by the FIAPF (International Federation of Film Producer’s Associations) and is undoubtedly the oldest and most important festival in the Middle East and has been an inspiration to several other budding festivals.
This year the CIFF has acknowledged its honored tradition and welcome the new generation of brilliant filmmakers from India by honoring Indian Cinema. The festival is from 10th to 20th November in Cairo and has been attended , by the whos who of cinema World including Salma Hayek, Samuel L. Jackson, Lucy Liu and Tom Berenger, who is also a member on the international jury.
"I am impressed by the wonderful gesture extended by the 33rd International Film Festival by giving so much space to Indian Cinema this time" said Sandeep Marwah. while talking to the International press at Cairo. " I am sure this all will result into better relations between two countries and more business time to come." Marwah added.

IFTRC Promoted Documentation Centre At Global Festival Of Films 2009
Some of the finest documentary films were screened during the day followed by the release of set of seven technical books on film making prepared by the documentation department of International Film And Television Research Centre of Marwah Studios on the first day of 2nd Global festival of Documentary films 2009 at inaugural dinner at Noida Film City.
Basu Chatterjee, Pankaj Parashar, Manoj Pahwa together released the set of books at the glamorous evening supported by the presence of media, film and tv personalities.” I am pleased that the organizers have not forgotten the importance of film and tv education even during this glamorous and happening evening, I endorse the idea of Global Festival of Films” said Basu Chatterjee .”Releasing book is no less than a step towards spirituality, I am elevated by this gesture” said Pankaj Parashar. “I must carry these books and study them I will gain knowledge” said Manoj Pahwa.
The president of the festival Sandeep Marwah spoke about the International Film and TV Research Centre and the festival director Suman Bajaj Kalra paid vote of thanks.

“I have always convinced my self with the story, if I am satisfied then only I jump for direction” said the renowned film maker Basu Chatterjee, who has directed more than 50 feature films like Rajangandha, Chitchor, Choti Si Baat, Pasand Apni Apni and TV serials like Rajani, Kakaji and many others while talking to the students of AAFT, ASMS and ABS on the occasion of seminar organized on the first day of 2nd Global Festival Of Documentary Films at Noida Film City.
Commenting on latest trends of bollywood he clearly said to media that there is no formula of successful films. It is the conviction of film makers and his passion which drives him to go for the next venture even if the last film has not done well. “I am too pleased to be here at AAFT for Global Festival Of Documentary Films and will continue to see films at IFFI next week.” Basu added.
I have decided to prepare a library of all the films of Basu Chatterjee which I believe will bring a new thinking in the minds of young film makers, said Sandeep Marwah.
In a jam packed auditorium the president of Marwah Studios and GFF Sandeep Marwah honoured Basu Chatterjee with the life membership of International Film and Television Club.

Great Gala Opening Of 2nd Global Festival Of Documentary Films
The Red Carpet became the centre of attraction on the opening of 2nd Global Festival of Documentary films at Film City Noida organized by International Film And Television Club under the president ship of Sandeep Marwah of Marwah Studios a renowned Media, Film and TV personality of this part of the World.
“I have always believe in promoting young and talented film makers by creating an opportunity for them in this beautiful trade” said Sandeep Marwah to the international press gathered along with film makers, participants, who”s who of entertainment industry, film and TV students from all over the World.
A formal inauguration took place by lighting the lamp by the renowned, veteran writer, producer and Director Basu Chatterjee along with film director Pankaj Parashar, Manoj Pahwa the famous actor ,Tarry Parrish of Ice Academy, U.K, film maker Shekh Nasir with Suman Bajaj Kalra festival Director and President of the festival Sandeep Marwah.
The festival started with the scheduled program of screening films in three theatres for the first hour followed by huge list of films to follow. “Not much festivals in India promoting documentaries, this festival is the real breathing to the documentary film makers and that too at this scale” said Basu Chatterjee. “I believe in the management of IFTC. This time Global has touched the documentaries, other wise there are no supporters other than government.” said Pankaj Parashar. “I have come all the way from UK to support Sandeep for his venture we need promoters and people with innovative ideas” said Terry Parrish.
