New Delhi: A vibrant group art exhibition titled “Within & Beyond”, featuring an impressive collection of paintings and sculptures by emerging and established artists from Kolkata, was inaugurated at Palm Court, India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Founder of Noida Film City and President of Marwah Studios, who lit the ceremonial lamp and formally opened the exhibition in the presence of artists, art lovers, curators, and distinguished guests.
The exhibition brings together the artistic expressions of Preeti Gupta, Anukta Mukherjee Ghosh, Abhinav Duttagupta, Subrata Malakar, Proteeti Ghosh, Amiyo Paul, and Avigyan Roy. The show has been curated by Subrata Malakar.
Speaking while lighting the ceremonial lamp, Dr. Sandeep Marwah said, “Art is a powerful medium of communication that transcends language, geography and boundaries. 19th Global Film Festival Noida 2026 to Open on September 16 at Noida Film City
Noida, India: The 19th Global Film Festival Noida 2026 is all set to open on September 16, 2026, at Noida Film City, marking another significant chapter in India’s growing international engagement through cinema, media, art and culture.
Scheduled from September 16 to 18, 2026, the three-day festival is expected to bring together filmmakers, actors, producers, media professionals, academicians, diplomats, artists, students and cinema enthusiasts from India and several countries.
The festival is being held under the chairmanship of Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Festival President of the Global Film Festival Noida. The event has evolved into an international platform celebrating cinema while encouraging cultural exchange, creative collaboration and professional networking across borders.
The 19th edition will feature a vibrant programme of international film screenings, documentaries, seminars, panel discussions, celebrity workshops and masterclasses, award ceremonies, exhibitions, book and poster launches, cultural programmes and networking opportunities.

BIS Organises Powerful Seminar on Emerging Standards in Media & Entertainment Industry at Marwah Studios
Noida: A powerful seminar on “Emerging Standards in Media & Entertainment Industry” was organised by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Government of India, in association with the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) at Marwah Studios, Film City, Noida.
The programme brought together senior representatives from BIS, leading media and entertainment professionals, academicians, broadcasters, cinema experts, filmmakers, and students to deliberate on the growing importance of standards, quality, safety, technology, and professional practices in the rapidly evolving media and entertainment industry.
The programme was conducted by Suryansh Singh, Consultant, BIS. The welcome address was delivered by Alok Singh, Scientist & Head, Service Sector Department, BIS, who highlighted the significance of developing appropriate standards for emerging service sectors and creative industries.
Delivering the keynote address, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Chair, Media and Entertainment Committee, BIS, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, said that standardisation has become essential for the sustainable growth and global competitiveness of the Indian media and entertainment industry.
“The media and entertainment industry is transforming at an unprecedented pace with the emergence of OTT platforms, artificial intelligence, virtual production, digital cinema, immersive technologies, new broadcasting systems and other technological innovations. In such a dynamic environment, standards are not merely technical guidelines; they are instruments for ensuring quality, professionalism, safety, efficiency and global acceptance,” said Dr. Marwah.
He further added, “India has the talent, creativity, technology and a huge consumer base to become a global leader in media and entertainment. The development and adoption of appropriate Indian Standards can provide a strong foundation for the industry and help Indian companies and professionals compete confidently in the international marketplace.”
Dr. Marwah emphasised that the industry, educational institutions, technology companies, professional bodies and government organisations must work together in developing standards that are practical, progressive, inclusive and aligned with international best practices.
The seminar featured valuable insights from several distinguished experts, including Ujwal Nirgudkar, Chairman, SMPTE India Section; Prof. Shashwati Goswami, Regional Director, Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC); Atul Churamani, Managing Director, Turnkey Music; Tarun Kumar Mazumdar, Former Vice President, INOX Cinemas; and Shivam Soni, Scientist & Deputy Director, BIS.
They shared their experiences and perspectives on technological advancement, cinema, music, broadcasting, education, digital media, professional practices, and the need for greater standardisation across different segments of the industry.
The discussions were further enriched by contributions from Prof. Dr. Vikas Singh, Dean – Cinema, AAFT; Prof. Dr. Syed Nawaz, Dean, AAFT School of Journalism; Dr. Sushil Bharti, Director – Broadcasting, Marwah Studios; and Shagun Singhal Garg, Media Expert, who shared practical experiences and highlighted the challenges and opportunities emerging within the media and entertainment ecosystem.

New Delhi, September 4, 2026: The International Chamber of Media & Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), AAFT, and Marwah Studios partnered with Film Expo India 2026, held from 26th to 31st August at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, further strengthening the connection between education, industry, creativity, and professional opportunities.

Hyderabad: Dr Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios, Founder of Noida Film City, and Chair for the Indo-Kazakhstan Film and Cultural Forum and Indo-Liberland Film and Cultural Forum, had a fruitful and cordial meeting with Dr Nawab Mir Nasir Ali Khan, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Syed Algazi, Honorary Consul General of the Republic of Liberland, in Hyderabad.

Dr Sandeep Marwah Honoured and Nominated as Patron of Film and TV Producers Welfare Association at Film Expo India
New Delhi: Dr Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Founder of Noida Film City, was honoured and nominated as Patron of the Film and TV Producers Welfare Association (FTPA) during the recently concluded Film Expo India 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.
The honour was presented in recognition of Dr Marwah’s outstanding contribution to the Indian media and entertainment industry and his continued efforts towards the welfare, growth and professional development of filmmakers, producers and creative professionals.
The occasion was attended by prominent members and office bearers of the Film and TV Producers Welfare Association, including Ashok Rawal, Chaman Gupta, Satish Pandey, Kailash Bhutani, Vishal Sethi and Pradeep Damaniya.
Speaking on the occasion, Vishal Sethi appreciated Dr Sandeep Marwah’s immense contribution to the film, television and media industry and said that his experience, vision and global outreach would provide valuable guidance to the association.
