| AAFT Faculty Enlightened by Dr. Karthik Ramesh on Emerging Trends in Education |
Noida, India – August 2024 – The faculty of the Asian Academy of Film and Television (AAFT) had the privilege of being addressed by Dr. Karthik Ramesh, a distinguished innovator and thought leader in the fields of AI, ML, and Industry 4.0, during a recent Faculty Development Program held at Marwah Studios. The session focused on the rapidly evolving trends in education, innovative teaching methodologies, and the ever-changing role of education in today’s dynamic world.
During his address, Dr. Ramesh highlighted several key issues, including the need to capture and sustain student attention, the incorporation of new teaching techniques, and the transformation of education’s role in preparing students for a future dominated by technology and innovation. “Education is no longer just about imparting knowledge; it’s about inspiring curiosity, encouraging critical thinking, and equipping students with the tools to navigate an uncertain future,” remarked Dr. Ramesh.

Dr. Karthik Ramesh is the Global Head of Innovation at Emids, which is backed by the $39 billion New York PE Firm NMC. He also serves as a Board Member and Advisor for ROBOTECH UAE, specializing in AI/ML, and as a Special Advisor at Prognica Labs, Dubai Silicon Oasis. Dr. Ramesh is on the board of TaskBench Botswana, a leading Business Process Management Platform.
A two-time Guinness Book and Asia Book Record Holder for his groundbreaking contributions to AI, ML, Analytics, and Industry 4.0, Dr. Ramesh is an alumnus and visiting faculty member at prestigious institutions such as IITs, IIMs, ISB, IISc, and INSEAD. He has delivered over 100 talks at national and international conferences and has been recognized with over 60 awards, including the Atal Samaroh 2022, National Award for Excellence in Innovation, Business Mint 50 under 50, Asia 100 Power Leader Technology, and India’s Top 20 Cyber Security Leader.
