Slovenian Cuisine Takes Center Stage at 10th Global Literary Festival Noida 2024

Noida, India – October 2024: As part of the vibrant cultural celebrations at the 10th Global Literary Festival Noida 2024, the exquisite flavors of Slovenia were showcased in a grand culinary display. The event, held at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida, was inaugurated by Her Excellency Mateja Vodeb Ghosh, Ambassador of Slovenia to India, and captivated a large international audience of diplomats, dignitaries, and art enthusiasts.

The culinary segment, prepared and designed by the talented students of the AAFT School of Hospitality and Tourism, offered an authentic taste of Slovenia’s rich gastronomic traditions. From hearty local dishes to refined delicacies, the food exhibition served as an exciting cultural bridge, drawing widespread appreciation from attendees.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and founder of the Global Literary Festival, expressed his admiration for the cultural exchange. “This festival is a melting pot of global ideas, art, and cultures. The Slovenian food display brings a unique flavor to our celebrations, emphasizing the bond between India and Slovenia,” Dr. Marwah remarked.

Her Excellency Mateja Vodeb Ghosh, Ambassador of Slovenia to India, praised the initiative, saying, “Food plays a central role in bringing people together and fostering mutual understanding. It is a pleasure to see Slovenian cuisine being appreciated by such a diverse audience here in India. This is an excellent opportunity to strengthen our cultural ties.”

The event, which formed a part of the wider festival celebrating literature and arts, was supported by the Asian Academy of Arts, the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), and the Writers Association of India. It successfully demonstrated how food can serve as a universal language, uniting people through culture, tradition, and creativity.
