Noida, India: The prestigious 8th Hindi Cinema Samman Awards were celebrated at the 17th Global Film Festival 2024 at Marwah Film City, Noida. The awards recognized distinguished individuals for their outstanding contributions to promoting Hindi language and Hindi Cinema globally. Among the honorees was Josel F. Ignacio, Ambassador of the Philippines to India, acknowledged for his efforts in advancing the reach and influence of Hindi Cinema.
The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), under the visionary leadership of Dr. Sandeep Marwah, founder of Marwah Studios and President of ICMEI, has successfully positioned the Hindi Cinema Samman Awards as one of the most prestigious recognitions in Indian cinema since its inception in 2017.
