| ICMEI Congratulates Greece on Independence Day; Indo-Greece Film and Cultural Forum Gaining Momentum |
New Delhi, March 30: The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) extends its warmest congratulations to Her Excellency Aliki Koutsomitopoulou, the Ambassador of Greece to India, and to the people of Greece on the occasion of their National Independence Day falls on 25th March.
Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of ICMEI and founder of Marwah Studios, expressed his deep admiration for the rich history, cultural legacy, and democratic values of Greece. “On behalf of ICMEI and the entire Indian media and entertainment fraternity, I convey our heartfelt greetings to Her Excellency the Ambassador and to the people of Greece on their Independence Day. Greece has contributed immensely to world civilization, art, philosophy, and democracy, and we celebrate its enduring spirit today,” said Dr. Marwah.
He also emphasized the growing partnership between India and Greece in the fields of art, cinema, and culture through the Indo-Greece Film and Cultural Forum, an initiative launched under the aegis of ICMEI. “The Indo-Greece Film and Cultural Forum is coming up very well. We are already working on collaborative projects, cultural exchange programs, and film initiatives that will strengthen people-to-people ties and promote deeper mutual understanding between our two nations,” Dr. Marwah added.
The Indo-Greece Film and Cultural Forum aims to create a vibrant platform for artistic collaborations, film screenings, joint productions, and cultural festivals. It also serves as a bridge for dialogue and cooperation between filmmakers, artists, and cultural institutions from both countries.
This initiative aligns with ICMEI’s broader vision of fostering international partnerships through the soft power of media and entertainment. The organization has previously established similar forums with several other nations, reinforcing India’s role as a hub for cultural diplomacy.
