Noida, India:Sandeep Marwah, Founder of Noida Film City and President of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), extended his heartiest congratulations to His Excellency Mohammed Abdalla Ali Eltom, Ambassador of Sudan to India, and to the people of Sudan on the auspicious occasion of Independence Day of Sudan, celebrated on 1st January.
While conveying his warm wishes, Sandeep Marwah emphasized the strong and growing bilateral relations between India and Sudan, particularly in the fields of art, culture, film, and media. He highlighted that cultural diplomacy has played a vital role in strengthening mutual understanding and people-to-people connections between the two nations.
Dr. Marwah recalled that the foundation of this cultural collaboration was laid in 2002, when the Indo-Sudan Cultural Forum was formed under the visionary leadership of His Excellency Abdalmahmood Abdalhaleem, the then Ambassador of Sudan to India. At that time, Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios, was nominated as the Chair of the Forum. Since then, the organization has been actively working to promote and deepen relations between Sudan and India through films, media, art, and cultural exchanges.
“With the evolution of our activities, the Indo-Sudan Film and Cultural Forum was established to further institutionalize these efforts. Today, Sudan stands as a valued partner with ICMEI and has been associated with almost every major international event organized by us,” informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah.
He further expressed confidence that the friendship between India and Sudan will continue to flourish, paving the way for greater collaboration in cultural, educational, and creative sectors, and wished the people of Sudan peace, prosperity, and progress on this historic national day.
