Noida, 13th February 2025 — Adding a flavorful twist to the ongoing celebrations, the AAFT School of Hospitality and Tourism presented an exquisite spread of authentic Cuban cuisine at Marwah Studios during the 13th Global Festival of Journalism & AVGC Noida 2025.

The culinary showcase was a vibrant reflection of Cuba’s rich gastronomic heritage and its cultural ties with India. Students and chefs from AAFT delighted guests with traditional Cuban dishes, offering a sensory journey through Caribbean flavors.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of the Festival and Chair of the Indo Cuba Film and Cultural Forum, expressed his joy at the cultural collaboration: “Cuisine is one of the most beautiful expressions of culture. By bringing Cuban flavors to our festival, we celebrate the warmth of Indo-Cuban friendship and deepen our appreciation of global traditions.”

Noida, 13th February 2025 — The 13th Global Festival of Journalism & AVGC Noida 2025 proudly hosted a special screening of the Moroccan film “Sound of Berberia”, directed by the celebrated filmmaker Mohammed Kaghat. The screening, held at Marwah Studios, drew praise from both cinema lovers and dignitaries in attendance.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Festival President, President of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), and Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts, welcomed the audience and shared his thoughts on the significance of cross-cultural cinematic exchange.
“Film is a universal language, and screenings like these bridge borders and bring cultures closer,” he stated.

The event was further enriched by the presence of key diplomats from the Embassy of Morocco: Kamal Marzouka, First Secretary, Embassy of Morocco, offered insights into the film’s cultural roots and artistic message. Said Kasmi, Minister of Plenipotentiary, Embassy of Morocco, spoke warmly about the strong and growing relations between India and Morocco, emphasizing the role of cinema and media in deepening bilateral ties.

In recognition of the film’s artistic excellence and cultural relevance, “Sound of Berberia” was honored with an Award of Distinction, presented by Sushil Bharti, Director Broadcasting, Marwah Studios.

The event was gracefully conducted by Mehak Zaidi, Assistant Professor at the AAFT School of Journalism & Mass Communication, who guided the proceedings with professionalism and warmth.

The award was officially launched by Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of the Festival and Founder of Noida Film City, in a grand ceremony 13 years backwhen it was  attended by notable dignitaries and media professionals from across the globe. The day was introduced to the global media fraternity by the International Journalism Centre under the visionary leadership of Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios.

Baku, Azerbaijan – The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) has officially announced the renomination of Mr. Manish Shah as the Chair for the Indo-Azerbaijan Film and Cultural Forum-Azerbaijan Chapter. The decision reflects the continued growth and success of the Azerbaijan Chapter under the leadership of ICMEI.

Since its inception, the Indo-Azerbaijan collaboration has played a pivotal role in every major international event curated by ICMEI, including the Global Film Festival, Global Fashion Week, Global Festival of Journalism, Global Literary Festival, International Documentary Film Festival, and the Global Food Festival, among others.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of ICMEI, officially informed the board about the renomination, acknowledging Mr. Shah’s remarkable contribution in strengthening cultural ties between India and Azerbaijan. “Manish Shah has been a dynamic force in promoting creative and cultural exchanges.
