74th AAFT Festival Of Short Digital Films Inaugurated
Asian Academy Of Film And Television in association with International Film And Television Club organized 74th edition of AAFT Festival of Short Digital Films. In total 11 films were shown and six best films were projected publicly in a grand function inaugurated by Stuti Kerkar IAS Resident Commissioner, Government of Uttar Pradesh,
This festival has already created an international record of reaching 74th edition. The festival has shown around 1800 films of first time directors, technicians and artist from 90 countries of the World in last 19 years informed Sandeep Marwah President of the Festival.
The cast and crew of these selected films get another opportunity to produce and direct new project for Marwah Studios said Kalyan Sarkar the Festival Director.
“Film Festivals are the best way to showcase the creation of a film maker” said Shanker Mohan Director of IFFI International Film Festival Of India.

Platinum Batch Will Host Alumni Meet At AAFT
The 75th platinum batch of students of AAFT Asian Academy Of Film And Television has decided to host the great gala affair of Alumni Meet at the campus of Marwah Studios informed Sandeep Marwah who has been the Director of this film and TV school from the last 20 years probably the longest designation holder in the world for a film school.
AAFT has been in existence now for 20 years and has churned out 8000 media professionals from 89 countries of the World in different disciplines. “it was 22nd July 1993 when we started the first batch of this premier film school and trust me no looking back” said Sandeep Marwah.
“We invite all the students to the campus of AAFT on Saturday, 9th june 2012 to come and give a kick start to the new ideas” said Kalyan Sarkar now Dean AAFT.
“We are looking forward to a large gathering and an enthusiastic participation by the former students of AAFT” added Viney Kumar Registrar of AAFT.
IFTRC Supports Asian School Of Media Studies
The first private film and TV research centre of the country IFTRC International Film And Television Research Centre is now going to support the first film college ASMS Asian School Of Media Studies of the country in a big way as per the arrangements made between the two media setups.
“We want media students to take the best advantages and experiences of 100 years of cinema” said Sandeep Marwah Chairperson of IFTRC. The Research Centre will take students of ASMS not only for research programs but will be partner in workshops, seminars, symposiums, interactions, and other important programs.
The students will also get an opportunity to be part of documentation centre of IFTRC where number of papers and books are published which will be available to the students of ASMS.
Asian School Of Media Studies Supported By IFTC

IFTC-International Film And Television Club which has started five festivals in the country including Global Film Festival Noida, International Festival Of Cellphone Cinema, WECare Film Festival on Disability, AAFT Festival of Short Digital Films and Short Film Festival of ASMS now wants the film, TV and Media students of ASMS to be part of this organization for all practical purposes.
“It’s a wonderful opportunity for the students of ASMS to be part of the Entertainment Industry while studying at the media school” said R.K. Singh Addl. Director ASMS. “What many film makers cannot expect from the industry we deliver at ASMS” said Ashok Tyagi joint Director ASMS.
