Large Participation by Schools in 6th Global Film Festival Noida



“52 Events, 540 Films and presence of number of film and TV celebrities at Marwah Studios in three days have attracted large audience from all parts of country and abroad” said Sandeep Marwah President of GFFN.

More than 12500 footfalls have already proved the popularity of the festival in this part of the World. Students from many schools, colleges, Universities and other professional institutes lined up at Marwah Studios Complex to be part of this international event at Noida Film City.

Prominent figures like Jeno Hodi from Hollywood, Judith Lazar from Hungary, Karl Bardosh from New York, Ketan Mehta, Parteik Babbar, Lovleen Tandan, Tibor Kovacs, Gopaldas Neeraj, Virendra Rana, Pankaj Parashar, Boney Kapoor, Rakesh Bedi, Kumar Sahani, Saaed Mirza and many others became part of the film festival.


AAFT Training Program for Ignite Miss Northern India Contestants



“AAFT School of Fashion has all those facilities which probably many school of fashion cannot even think of, that is the reason we opted to train and groom all the final contestant of Ignite Miss Northern India” said Dr.Shobha Kulsherstra Director of Asian School of Fashion.

“I have full trust in AAFT and its education and training” added Vimal Srivastava President of the event. “We are happy to provide 100 Sheela Marwah scholarships to the first 100 applicants to join AAFT programs in films, television and media” said Sandeep Marwah.

Boney Kapoor Spoke on Film Education at 6th Global Film Festival


Some of the finest films are directed by students of AAFT which shows that Asian Academy of Film And Television has given the best film education to its students, there is no doubt that AAFT is the first ten best film schools of the World” said Boney Kapoor renowned film Producer and former President Film Federation of India.

“Times have changed and film makers aspect newcomers to join industry with full knowledge and training. A good education in media does matter” added Boney Kapoor replying to the questions from the large media audience at 6th Global Film Festival Noida 2013.

P.C.Arya Honored With Global Media Award at 6th GFFN


Renowned media person P.C.Arya was honored with 6th Global Media Award on the first day of Film festival at Marwah Studios at Noida Film City.

The management of International Film And Television Club started last year a segment to honour media professionals who have also contributed to media education. Prof. Kalyan Sarkar, Prof. Mansoor Naqvi and Prof. Harshvardhan were the recipient of the awards last year.

P.C.Arya has worked with Doordarshan and All India Radio for more than 35 years. He has also been a hardcore journalist covering some of the most prominent events in different countries. He has been on different assignment by Government of India, citation read by Anugyan Nag.

“P.C.Arya has been one of the finest media teachers and served the media schools for many years. His guidance has helped many students in media” added Sandeep Marwah.

“I have special place for Marwah Studios in my heart, I have never seen such a dedicated day to day performance by any other media person in life other than Sandeep Marwah” said Arya emotionally.

Present on the occasion Judith Lazar, Jeno Hodi, Karl Bardosh, Ketan Mehta, Preteik Babbar, R.K.Singh and Dr. Shobha Kulshreshtra also spoke on the award function.

Indo South Africa Film Association Formed By Minister



On the recommendation of the visiting Minister of Trade And Industry from South Africa Elizabeth Thabethe a new forum has been created under the name and banner of Indo South Africa Film Association here in Delhi informed S.C. Pradhan Senior Economic Advisor to Embassy of South Africa in India.

Deputy Minister Elizabeth Thabethe was here on the Invitation of Government of India to inaugurate the International Trade Fair of India as Guest of Honor along with the Hon’ble President of India Pranab Mukherjee.

Renowned media person Sandeep Marwah has been recommended to be the Chairperson of Indo South Africa Film Association who has been in media for 30 years.

Elizabeth Thabethe Deputy Minister for Trade And Industry, Government of South Africa,  appointed internationally known  media person Sandeep Marwah as the Chairperson of newly constituted body ISAFA- Indo South Africa Film Association.

Elizabeth Thabethe was in India on the invitation of office of the President of India to inaugurate International Trade Fair of India on 14th November with Pranab Mukherjee  Hon’ble President of India. She expressed her desire to get associated with India for films and television business. ”we have found the right person Sandeep Marwah to bridge the gap of cinema studies and its expansion” said the Minister.


Sandeep Marwah is  five times World record holder, founder of film city Noida and is the President of Marwah Studios said” It is my honour and privilege to serve my country and South Africa as far as film and media business is concerned. I will put my best for the betterment of our relations”
