Shakespeare Society Highlighted at 7th Global Film Festival



“We have always believed that literature is never away from film making. Good education and education of literature makes you think big and broader” said Sandeep Marwah introducing Shakespeare Society to the dignified guests on the second day at 7th Global Film Festival Noida 2014.

“I appreciates GFFN efforts to project Shakespeare, he is an international figure and we have also grown reading his books” said H.E. M. Abdoul Aziz Loum Charge D’ Affairs of Embassy of Senegal in India.

“Given an opportunity I would love to be part of this society  and would like to contribute to its growth” said Rahul Mittra renowned film producer.

 Kinley Pendel, Mahesh Aney, Ramesh Meer and Jatin Lalit spoke about the works, literature and plays of Shakespeare. The students of Asian Education Group-Acting performed a piece out of Shakespeare drama.


Sandeep Marwah Honored for Promotion of Fine Arts in India


 New Delhi 21st Nov. 2014: “More than 25 years Sandeep Marwah has been promoting fine arts in India especially music, singing, dance and writing. He is already been a pioneer in organizing events and cultural programs to give opportunity to the upcoming artists” said Dr. Anita Srivastava President of Savitri Vikas Samiti at Arya Auditorium at New Delhi.

The appreciation handed over by the renowned writer Poet Padma Bhushan Dr. Gopal Das Neeraj who was the chief guest at the cultural program of music   by Savitri Vikas Samiti on the songs written by him for feature films of  Indian Cinema. The program was dedicated to his contribution to Indian cinema as Lyrics writer.

“I am a great fan of all the songs written by Neeraj Ji in last so many years. His each and every lyric used as film song is like a diamond” thanked Sandeep Marwah for recognizing his efforts.



Workshop on Film Production by Rahul Mittra at 7th GFFN




“Film production is the job of passionate people, it still needs lots of precautions and planning.” said Rahul Mittra while conducting the workshop on the second day at 7th Global Film Festival Noida 2014 at Marwah Studios.

“You need to coordinate so many departments and the most important the finance which also play a very important role in completing the good film” added Rahul while answering the questions to the media students from the full house.

“Today making of the film may be easy but marketing the same film is much more difficult” said Rahul Mittra explaining to film lovers at GFFN.


Rahul Mittra is the producer of feature films like Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster, Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Return, Bullet Raja and revolver Rani. Festival director Ashok Tyagi moderated the workshop.

Seminar on Impact of Cinema on Society at 7th GFFN



“Film festivals provide a wonderful platform to interact and share your views internationally through seminars. This time seminar invited few big names to share their views on the subject-The Impact Of Cinema On Society” subject introduced by Sandeep Marwah President of GFFN.

 H.E. Darja Bavda Kuret, Ambasador of Slovenia in India inaugurated the seminar, who also gave her remarks on the subject that films are the mirror of the society.


Film producer Rahul Mittra explained his point of view with examples from his own films. Mahesh Aney, Ramesh Meer, Kinley Pendel were the other speakers who all expressed their views. Later the house was open to question answers.

Grand Gala Evening by Shibani Kayshap at 7th GFFN




For her extra ordinary contribution to the world of music 7th Global Film Festival “honors Shibani Kayshap with the life membership of International Film And Television Club of AAFT” announced Sandeep Marwah President 7th GFFN.

An electrifying performance by Shibani made the whole environment vibrant and young film makers were dancing to the tunes of music.

Shibani Kashyap is an Indian singer, who is actively working in Bollywood film industry. Some of her songs are very popular like "Sajna Aaa Bhi Ja" from movie Waisa Bhi Hota Ha Part 2 She has anchored a singer hunt show named Bathroom Singer.

Shibani achieved fame by singing the signature tune of the AIR FM channel of All India Radio and Amul India. Shibani mostly composes music in the Sufi-western blend. It is confirmed that Shibani will be seen acting in the new Faisal Saif directed movie Main Osama This will be the first time that Shibani will be composing the music of a film as well as acting in it.

Chamber for Media And Entertainment Industry Launched at 7th GFFN



“The biggest launch of this year is not any film or product but the launching of first ever International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry in the World” said Sandeep Marwah President of 7th Global Film Festival Noida 2014 on the first day of the show.

“There is no business bigger than show business, Entertainment industry is the biggest industry in the World. It is our good luck that first ever only chamber on media and entertainment has been formed and declared by us today” added Marwah in a over crowded function attended by thousands of media persons at Marwah Studios.

ICMEI-International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry has now a membership of almost 15000 people, 162 international committees, 80 national committees and 640 committee heads will have 95 foreign offices in few weeks.

Vivek Agnihotri Honored Excellence In Cinema Award at 7th GFFN




“It is the custom at Global Film Festival to honor cinema persons who have contributed to the growth and style of Indian Film Industry. Vivek Agnihotri is also one of the names” said Sandeep Marwah President of 7th Global Film Festival Noida while handing over the award at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida.

Vivek Agnihotri is an avant-garde Indian film director, producer and screenwriter. Agnihotri one of the few new age Hindi cinema film directors, known to experiment in different genres of filmmaking. He has ventured into genres like erotica, thriller, sports, political dramas and love stories making him a multi genre director.

He directed following films Like Chocolate Starring Arshad Warsi, Emran Hasmi, Anil Kapoor, Sunil Shetty, Irrfan Khan, Tanushree Dutt and Sushma Reddy. Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal John Abhrahim, Bipasha Basu, Arshad Warsi and Boman Irani, Hate Stort with Paoli Dam, Gulshan Devaiya and Nikhil Dwivedi and now Buddha in Traffic Jam.
