Seminar on Radio at 3rd Global Festival of Journalism




Noida Film City: The second day of 3rd Global Festival of Journalism 2015 started with a seminar with huge participation. It was a World Radio Day and everyone spoke on the Radio too.

H.E. Mrs Darja Bavdas Kuret Ambassador of Slovenia in India inaugurated the seminar. ”Radio has done a commendable revolution in the World. It has come back for its second innings,” said Kuret.

Padam Sri Shyam Singh Shashi, Master of Community Radio Dr. Sreedher, Senior journalist Qamar Agha, Arfa Khanam Sherwani, Deputy Commissioner- Commercial Tax Pankaj Kumar Singh and Journalist & Politician Shazia Ilmi also spoke on the occasion.

“We celebrate 12th February as International Day of Journalism, United Nations has declared 13th February as Radio Day too” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studio and GFJN.

The event was organized by International Journalism Centre and supported by ICMEI-International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry.

ICMEI Join Hands With India Media Fest 2015


Noida Film City: First National level meet and competition for the media persons and student community under the name and banner of India Media Fest 2015 has been planned for 16th & 17th March at New Delhi.

 “These kind of events are required in Delhi to keep the media unite and also aware of what is happening in other parts of the World” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studio and ICMEI while releasing the first poster of Media Fest at Noida Film City.

 ICMEI-International Chamber for Media And Entertainment Industry will be supporting the event organized by briatoshs. Some of the prominent people of media will be taking the workshops and will be part of seminars.

The organizing team consists of Babita Biswas, Debasish Sarkar and Shikha M Leo along with Ashok Tyagi Secretary General ICMEI and media students of AAFT were also present on the release of poster.

Sandeep Marwah Honored For His Contribution to Literature





New Delhi; “Asian Academy of Arts has been a big initiative taken by Sandeep Marwah not only to promote fine and performing arts but also the literature in specific. Creation of Publishers Club, Writers Forum and book releases events at ACA- has added to literature promotion” a citation read by the organizers at Constitution Club at New Delhi.

An organization of journalist at New Delhi decided to honor Sandeep Marwah for his untiring contribution to literature. Sandeep Marwah has also established the Shakespeare society, Mahatma Gandhi Forum, Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru Forum and huge books and film library under the name of Sewa Ram Marwah.

“ I am grateful to the society for giving me this award, I am thrilled and will put my best to promote the same for all time to come” said Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios. Veteran Writer Prof. Ajit Kumar, New writer Subodh Kumar and Rashmi Singh Executive Director, National Mission for Empowerment of Women at Ministry of WCD, Government of India were present on the occasion.

Jashan Singh Performed in A Master Class at Marwah Studios




Noida Film City; “Bending towards fine arts is a part of our syllabus at AAFT. Be it a short term or degree course. Music cannot be ignored at any stage” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios introducing Jashan Singh renowned singer from Mumbai at a master class in music.

Known for his Punjabi and sufi music Jashan Singh sang all variety of numbers including classical and Bollywood. “It is important to know many things and to master on them should be a day to day affair to get success in your field” said Jashan to the class at AAFT answering their question related to music and cinema.

Later Sandeep Marwah presented Life Membership of International Film And Television Club of AAFT to Jashan Singh. He promised to perform in a bigger show at ICMEI.

Tigmanshu Dhulia appreciated Efforts of AAFT in Media



New Delhi; “I am amazed by the activities and continuous efforts of Sandeep Marwah in promoting films, television and entertainment business in this part of the World.
His innovative ideas and determination to make north as hub for films has seen a wonderful change” said Tigmanshu Dhulia renowned filmmaker from Mumbai.

Tigmanshu Dhulia started his carrier as casting director of feature film Phoolan Devi Bandit Queen at Marwah Studios. His hard work and caliber brought him to the highest platform. Famous for his films like Pan Singh Tomar recently honored with President Award as the best feature film of the year, he has also directed popular film like Saheb Bibi Aur Gangster Return.

Indo Moroccan Joint Venture For Film Signed




“This is for the first time in 67 years when two countries have joined hands with each other for the production of film in India. ICMEI has taken this initiative to promote the idea,” said Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI handing over the agreement to the designated Director of Photography of this new film at Marwah Studios.

“First time Moroccan Director will be directing film for an Indian film producer in India. The work has already been started on preproduction,” added Raju Swami Cinematographer from Russia,

“Ahed Bensouda Producer-Director from Morocco will be joining soon at New Delhi to start the first ever film in joint venture between India and Morocco” confirmed Ashok Tyagi Secretary General of International Chamber of Film And Entertainment Industry.

Case Study of Sandeep Marwah Discussed At 3rd GFJN 2015

Delegates from Afghanistan, Argentina, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Macedonia, Myanmar, Poland, Russia, Sri Lanka, Suriname, Ghana, Malawi, Mauritius, Niger, Nigeria, South Africa, South Sudan, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Tibet, Pakistan and India were participating in this biggest ever journalism festival of the World.
