Festival Of Films From Iceland at Marwah Studio




Noida: A powerful festival of films from Iceland was inaugurated by the Ambassador of Iceland H.E. Thorir Ibsen at a grand function at Marwah Studio Noida Film City.

“Films are the representatives of culture of any country. These films will project Iceland in the most pleasing manner. I invite film makers to come forward and record the natural beauty of Iceland in their films” said H.E. Thorir Ibsen in his inaugural speech.

“We are successful in proceeding further with International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry and reached to a new destination today by joining hands in organizing a film festival. I am sure the next step will be bigger than this,” added Ambassador of Iceland.

“You don’t need tickets and passport to be part of festival. This is a golden opportunity to study Iceland through their films and learn about the country and its culture” said Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studio and ICMEI.

“This is the first time that the dedicated festival of Iceland films has taken place in India. ICMEI will keep on bringing these kind of events for the industry” said Ashok Tyagi Secretary General of ICMEI.

Present on the occasion a filmmaker from Bhutan Karma Tsehering appreciated the efforts of Asian Academy of Film And Television and Asian School of Media Studies in accepting these kind of value additions which generally are not available to students of other institutions.

The festival will showcase four major feature films including PARIS, METALHEAD, OF HORSES AND MEN and DEEP. The feature film DEEP  was the inaugural film. The formal function was followed by question answers. The other officers accompanied ambassador from the Embassy of Iceland.

Later Sandeep Marwah honored H.E. Thorir Ibsen with the life membership of International Film And Television research Centre of AAFT.

Great India Award For Sandeep Marwah




Gurgoan: Manavta Foundation an association of people involved in different kind of social works based in Gurgoan honored Sandeep Marwah with Great India Award for his untiring contribution towards upliftment of downtrodden of the community.

“We are honored to recognize the social activities of Sandeep Marwah who has been chairing many organizations through which he is contributing to the society” said  Sangeeta Gupta founder Manavta Foundation.

“There is no religion bigger than humanity, and humanity teaches us to be kind and helpful. I am only following the religion of Humanity blindly” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studio while accepting the award.

Film and TV Artist Amit Srivastava, Renowned Painter Aarti Makker , Chairperson IIFT Ratan Deep Lal ,  President All India Yadav Mahasabha Sandeep Yadav, Popular Writer Sobha Joshi and Editor Political Times Dr. shokin Verma were the other recipients of award.

IIACFF- Animation Film Festival Fixed For October


Noida: The animation industry is growing at the rate of 15 percent every year. There is hardly an industry, which is not taking the support of animation in different presentations and programs. IIACFF- India International Animation And Cartoon Film Festival will project all this.

“India is still the most cost effective destination to produce animated films and its allied works. We are emerging as one of the biggest animation servicing industry,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studio in a key address to the National Press while launching the new festival- India International Animation And Cartoon Film Festival.

“The idea is to create large awareness in the country about the usage of graphics and animation and to promote business related to animation through this festival now fixed from 1st to 5th October, 2015” said Somendu Sinha Director Festival.

We are also promoting and adding to the propaganda of our government of Skill Development. Learning the art of animation and cartoon will develop ample skill development,” added Marwah who is also running Asian School of Animation.

 Ankush Nandi Vice President IIACFF and Rajni Basumantary Actor/Director also spoke on the occasion. The Festival has attracted many foreign stalls and participants from abroad.








Sandeep Marwah Inaugurated Lounge at Delhi




New Delhi: Delhi is emerging as one of the most happening cities of the World. Not only politics, films, theatre, art exhibitions, fashion shows but clubs and lounges are also adding a lot to new kind of events to the city.

Recently a new lounge –The U Turn has been inaugurated by well-known media personality Sandeep Marwah at Hauz Khas. “It is the requirement of rising population of Delhi that you need more restaurants, clubs, hotels and lounges too where people can spend some time with friends and music” said Sandeep Marwah Managing Director of National Federation of Tourism And Transport Cooperatives of India Limited.

“New avenues can lead to better employment to people especially who are educated and looking for employment in the cities. Thanks to malls and new markets which has added a lot to new jobs” added Sandeep Marwah who is also the President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry.



International Day of World’s Indigenous Peoples Celebrated at AAFT



Noida: "On this International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples, I call on the international community to ensure that they are not left behind. To create a better, more equitable future, let us commit to do more to improve the health and well-being of indigenous peoples. " message of Secretary General of United Nations Ban Ki Moon read by Prof. Harshvardhan Vice President International Film And Television Research Centre.

“This year's theme puts a spotlight on the issue of indigenous peoples' access to health care services, as improving indigenous peoples’ health remains a critical challenge for indigenous peoples, Member States and the United Nations” added Sandeep Marwah Ambassador of IHRO affiliated to United Nations and President World Peace Development And Research Foundation.

An event was organized early morning with the media students of Asian Education Group at Marwah Studio at Noida Film City. The members of faculty and administration of Marwah Studio also attended the event.

International Day of Friendship Celebrated at AAFT




Noida: the UN General Assembly with the idea that friendship between peoples, countries, cultures and individuals can inspire peace efforts and build bridges between communities proclaimed The International Day of Friendship in 2011.

“The resolution places particular emphasis on involving young people, as future leaders, in community activities that include different cultures and promote international understanding and respect for diversity” said Sandeep Marwah Ambassador of International Human Rights Organization affiliated to United Nations and President of World Peace Development And Research Foundation.

.To mark the International Day of Friendship the UN encourages governments, international organizations and civil society groups to hold events, activities and initiatives that contribute to the efforts of the international community towards promoting a dialogue among civilizations, solidarity, mutual understanding and reconciliation.
