Sandeep Marwah Honored at Sur Jhankar





New Delhi: Sur Jhankar Cultural Society celebrated a cultural program and an Award function under the title ‘Choole Aasman’ on the World Environment Day at Awan E Ghalib auditorium at New Delhi.

 The biggest attraction of the program was the performances by the special people who won the hearts of the audience with their electric performance.

Speaking on the occasion Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios emphasized on that ‘We Must Do One Good Act A Day’. We must take care of our surroundings to make our country strong and healthy. Good health means healthy nation.

The organization bestowed upon Sandeep Marwah Sur Jhankar Award for organizing 3200 cultural events and attending and motivating around 32000 cultural events in the country.

“I am touched by the gesture extended by the members of Sur Jhankar. I remember I also used to try hard to be on stage to perform and it was not easy. I request all the artist to please put your best when you get an opportunity on stage, sincere efforts will never go waist.

Singer Mamta Srivastava famous for her program Boogie Woogie conducted the show. Salim Sekh anchored the show and Tammana Musical Group performed.

Sandeep Marwah Honored For His Social Activities by UN


Sandeep Marwah Honored by UN at NIOS


Noida: A tree plantation function was organized by the biggest educational group of India- National Institute of Open Schooling at their national campus at sector 62 at Noida in the presence of large number of senior executives, team of professors and teachers from all over India.

Special placement was made to the trees planted by Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios, Rajiv Chandran of UNIC, Bharat Ghooba of Shoobh and Prof. C.B. Sharma Chairman of NIOS at their front lawn of the complex with nameplates attached to it.

The plantation was followed by the award function where Rajiv Chandran of United Nations Information Centre honored Sandeep Marwah with ‘UN Shawl of Responsibility’ for his untiring efforts for the promotion of environment programs in special and lots of social activity in general.

“We have case studies of people like Sandeep Marwah who being so busy in their business still devote time to social activities and environment control. The Charity Begins at Home” said Rajiv Chandran.

 “I am thankful to United Nations and NIOS for encouraging me by honoring me. I Promise to plant one million trees in India through all my different organizations” thanked Marwah.

Indo Venezuela Film Association Inaugurated


Indo Venezuela Film Association Formed

Noida: A grand show took place at Asian Academy of Film And Television, Marwah Studios Complex at Noida Film City for the formation and announcing the historical event of launching of a new organization to develop and promote relations between two countries Republic of India and Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

“It is a long awaited plan of Government of Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to create an association with Indian counter part to develop relations through films, arts, culture and media. This is a miracle when all together we could find under the one roof of ICMEI-International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry today” said H.E. Augusto Montiel Ambassador of Venezuela to India addressing a huge gathering of national and international film, television, media professionals and people from art and culture fraternity.

“Venezuela has a lot to offer in terms of art and culture. We have already opened a cultural centre in New Delhi. ICMEI is going to be the extension of our efforts. All are invited to be the part of now these two centres at Noida and Delhi. We have grown much bigger in one day” said Ambassador Appreciating the large network of 162 countries of ICMEI.

The renowned film, television and media personality and five times World Record holder Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios was honored by the Ambassador and also nominated as the Chairperson of Indo Venezuela Film Association. 

“It is important to bring the relationship between two countries close to each other and films, art and culture is the best way to start with. At Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela we are proud of our choice of Sandeep Marwah. He is a well experienced media professional and he understands very well the cultural diplomacy,” added Ambassador. 

 “I am honored and now committed to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. My energy will be used to built up powerful relations between the two countries,” said Sandeep Marwah who has earlier nominated as Global Cultural Minister, Global Peace Ambassador and International Media Guru on different occasions. Later Marwah honored Montiel with the patron ship of the IVFA.

World Environment Day Celebrated at Marwah Studios





Noida: A powerful seminar was conducted at Asian Academy of Film And Television at Marwah Film City Noida to give emphasis to the chapter of environment designed by the Environment And Climate Committee of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry.

“Our ancestors and all religions have warned us to take care of Mother Earth, we could not believe in them and today we have to see the results. Lets be cautious now about our earth to live happily,” said H.H. Acharya Dr. Lokesh Muni addressing the members of ICMEI, ICOI, UNIC and IFUNA.

“We have to take care of three major segments when we talk about environment that is Air, Water and Earth. All are equally important. All of them now need heavy attention. The purpose of the meet is to spread awareness of our mistakes and how to rectify them,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios initiating the talks.

“United Nations has carved this day as ‘World Environment Day’ to keep the World Population alert of the dying & diminishing resources. Contribution of everyone matters in this respect. Every individual has to come forward to be part of this mission of saving the environment,” said Rajiv Chandran Information officer of United Nations Information Centre.

Maj. Gen. Ajay K. Singh Group Vice President of Amity University pinpointed many deficiencies in our way of life, which needs to be corrected. Dr. K.D. Gupta Chairman Environment And Climate Committee of ICMEI, Dr. V.K.Goswami Chairman Research Committee of ICMEI, J C Singhal, President, Institution of Water & Environment (India) Dr. Dinesh Chand Adviser to Ministry of Environment, Government of India and Deepak Parvatiyar of IFUNA also presented their point of view to the house.

A poster highlighting World Environment Day was also released as a mark of respect to the day. Later Raj Nidhi Sharma Secretary General International Conference of Intellectual paid vote of thanks. The formal function was followed by Q&A session.

New Delhi: Renowned international media personality Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios has been taken as the Patron to Indian Federation of United Nations Association based in Delhi.

Indian Federation of United Nations Associations (IFUNA) was established more than four decades ago to promote the objectives of the United Nations and its Specialized Agencies. It is a Non-governmental, Voluntary, Nonprofit Organization working for International Peace and Understanding. IFUNA strives to focus its programs and activities around the vital concerns of the United Nations, like, Peace, International Understanding, Environment and Human Rights.

 “Galaxy of Luminaries had been associated with IFUNA like Late Smt. Vijaya Laxmi Pandit Former President of General Assembly U.N.O., Sh. Ram Krishan Hegde, Member of Parliament and Late Shri Ram Niwas Mirdha, Member of Parliament,” said Suresh Srivastava General Secretary of IFUNA.

 “IFUNA has a network of affiliated State United Nations Associations in various states of the country. We are privileged to have an international Personality to be part of our organization,” added Suresh Srivastava.

Exhibition of Paintings by Tara Inaugurated by Sandeep Marwah




New Delhi: The painting speaks about the deep interest of the artist in arts. The passion is emerging out of the works hanging here in the art gallery’” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios at the inauguration of Painting exhibition of Tara Khar titled ‘Universe- Made of Stories’ at Alliance Francis, New Delhi.

“The first ever painting exhibition made me nervous but support of my parents encouraged me enough to exhibit my works” said Tara a young sixteen years old artist to the audience.

Renowned artist Anjoiie Ela Menon blessed the young artist and encourages her to do the job passionately. Nilofer Currimbhoy was also present on the occasion.


Gallery Sree Arts Jewels and Jitendra Padam Jain presented the exhibition. Tara has been learning art from Jitendra Padam Jain who also curated the exhibition.

Harnessing Demographic Dividends Will be The Objective of ICOI




Noida: The management and the apex body of International Conference of Intellectuals met today at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida to plan the forth-coming activities of the forum.
“We are here to design the annual programs under this forum and to create awareness as well as the solutions to the problems identified by the members of the board” initiated Sandeep Marwah Patron and was chairing the Meeting of ICOI.

Two major programs were identified in the meeting related to Education in India and Water Management in the Country. Dr. K.D. Gupta Environmentalist and Dr. V. K. Goswami the former Vice Chancellor of the University were nominated the Chairperson of two committees formed during the discussion.

“The organizational structure must be strong to continue with more events related to nation building,” said Maj. Gen. K. Jai Singh Group Vice President of Amity. “We must bring all ideas under a term “Harnessing Demographic Dividends” with more experts on the panel to form more committees” added R. R. Shah former Secretary Government of India.

“The council must maintain the standard and do lots of home work before involving public and media. Research should be the key factor,” said G. K. Pillai former Home Secretary of Government of India.
