Sandeep Marwah Special Invitee at Embassy of Japan




New Delhi: Embassy of Japan celebrated the birthday of King of Japan at the Embassy campus. Jitendra Singh Minister of State for the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region, Prime Minister Office, Personnel, Public Grievances and Pension, Department of Atomic Energy and Department of Space was the Chief Guest..

A large gathering of Ambassadors, High Commissioners, diplomats, socialites, people from media and different industries were there to participate in the get together.

Sandeep Marwah President International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry was the special invitee at the occasion. Marwah met the Ambassador and briefed him about our relations with Japan through Japan Information And Cultural Centre and Japan Foundation.

India and Japan have very cordial relations and both the countries are enjoying fantastic trade relations. ”We need each other, not only the trade in between two countries have gone up the tourism has also increased in last few years,” said H.E. Kenji Hiramatsu Ambassador of Japan to India.

More than 40 students have been part of Asian Academy of Film And Television who all have been educated and learned here with us,” said Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI-International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry on the National Day of Bhutan.

National Day in Bhutan is celebrated on December 17, it commemorates the coronation of the first Druk Gyalpo (Dragon King) of modern Bhutan. Bhutan's most significant national holiday is widely celebrated throughout the country.

10th International Festival of CellPhone Cinema on 11th January

New Delhi: It is a great concept to make films with mobile phones. Ten years back Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios started this new wave in the World of Cinema and also started the first ever festival of cellphone cinema way back in 2006.

 Sandeep Marwah and Prof. Karl Bardosh Master Professor at Kanbar Institute of  Film & Television of Tisch School of Arts at New York University together made a film at Noida and New York to fulfill their desire to make a film on mobile. The concept was later accepted by the whole World.

The 10th International Festival of Cellphone Cinema is scheduled for 11th and 12th of January 2017 and has announced various awards and prizes for the participants.

Four categories of competitions including still photos, music videos, fiction and Electronic News Gathering have been announced. Any number of entries can be sent through mail.

Sandeep Marwah has been awarded many times for his unique and innovative ideas including the most prestigious award from Kanbar Film School of New York University, USA.

A special jury has been formed of experts and filmmakers to judge the four categories of entries for the competition. The first poster of 10th IFCPC launched here at Marwah Studios by Marwah and other dignities.

Noida: “Practice makes man perfect, deep love and passion for your profession gets you success. Continuous efforts will take you to a higher position,” said Padmashri Vidya Balan, renowned actor of Indian film industry here at Marwah Studios talking to the students of Asian Academy of Film And Television and Asian School of Media Studies. She was there to promote her new feature film Kahani 2: Durga Rani Singh. 

Vidya Balan, is well known for her serial Hum Panch and then to most successful films like Parineeta, Dirty Picture, Kahani, Once Upon a time In Mumbai Dobaara, Humari Adhuri Kahani, Paa. She has worked with all the top stars and directors of the industry. She is the recipient of National Award for best actress and has been honored five times with film fare award and five screen awards. 

Renowned writer Rajjat Arora, alumnus of Asian Academy of Film and Television, which she acknowledged, wrote her film Dirty Picture. 

“The job of the director is to bring all the resources together, be it creative, technical or financial to express his ideas through a story visually knotted,” added Sujoy Ghosh, the director of the film Kahani 2. He has been known for his films like Kahani, Teen, Ahalya, Bang Bang, Anamika, Aladin etc. 

“It is a wonderful moment when two giants of Indian film industry are here and sharing their experiences worth millions. The success of the film is in the hands of audience, before that it is important for the cast and crew to give their utmost efforts to the film and feel satisfied,” said Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios. 

Vidya Balan and Sujoy Ghosh released the new T shirt of “No More Missing”, an indication to create awareness by a national organization, to control the lifting and kidnapping of young children headed by Vandana Gulia under the patron ship of Sandeep Marwah. 

Important media persons from Delhi and Noida also attended the interaction. Later Sandeep Marwah presented Vidya Baln and Sujoy Ghosh with the life membership of International Film and Television Club of AAFT. International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry supported the event.

Noida: The exclusivity and enthusiasm of Marwah Studios once again brought the 9th Edition of Global Film Festival Noida. The festival is not only the biggest in North India but has been rated as one of the most happening festivals of the World. 

The grand opening of the festival, this time, designed in two major segments, one by the renowned film star and politician Shatrughan Sinha and other by the Hungarian Ambassador to India, H.E. Gyula Petho, at Noida Film City. 

“Films are the Ambassador of culture of the country and film festivals are the platform to showcase that culture. The purpose of the Global Film Festival is to bring in Love Peace and Unity through art and Culture,” said Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and GFFN. 

“What a great idea of the festival to cater to the young population of the World and also bringing them together through cinema is quite a unique idea. I admire the organizing capacity of the festival where 52 events have been planned in just three days.” said Shatrughan Sinha, appreciating and congratulating the management of the festival while lighting the inaugural lamp. 

“There was a time when we used to spend all our pocket money only in watching cinema during festivals. Now, it is available in your campus. Learn from all the activities of the festival as this is the real industry,” said T.S. Nagabharana, renowned Director of Kannada Films and nine national award winners. 

The festival includes workshops, seminars, interactions, master classes, screenings, exhibitions, book releases, poster releases, teaser releases, feature film releases, music and dance, entertainment and fashion shows. 

Actor director Aditya Raj Kapoor, renowned director Raju Pareskar, Mr. Prabhas Kumar Singh, Member of Parliament from Orissa, renowned model and actress Alesia Raut, bollywood choreographer Sandip Soparrkar, Festival Director and Secretary General ICMEI, Ashok Tyagi also spoke on the occasion.

Sandeep Marwah Special Guest at Slovenian Silver Jubilee Day



 New Delhi: It was a great celebration of 25th years of Slovenian Independence. Some of the very important people from the field of art and culture, politics and ministries including Member of the assembly from Slovenia were present there.

“I am thankful to all my friends here who all have contributed today with their gracious presence on the 25th year of Slovenia,” said H.E. Jozef Drofenic Ambassador of Slovenia to India welcoming the dignities to the grand affair of celebration at the Embassy.

Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios and Chairperson Indo Slovenia Film And Cultural Forum was the special guest of the day. “I extend my heartiest congratulations to the Ambassador of Slovenia to India on this great occasion of completing 25 years of its independence. We have always believed in promoting love, peace and unity through art and culture. Indo Slovenia relations have grown as we are promoting also the cinema of Slovenia in India,” said Sandeep Marwah.

Secretary Ministry of External Affairs and Director General Indian Council For Cultural Affairs Amarendra Khatua was the chief guest of the day. Ambassador of Romania, Ambassador of Poland, Ambassador of Czech Republic, Ambassador of Slovekia, Ambassador of Bulgaria and Ambassador of Bhutan also attended the evening.

Noida: Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios already been nominated and declared Global Green Ambassador, International Media Guru, Global Leader, Man of Asia, Icon of The Decade, Indian Icon now once again honored with Global Cultural Minister by the delegates of 24 countries of the World.

A Global Education Summit 2016 has taken place at Noida Film City to bring about a change in the education system in todays World. All the delegates gave their concrete suggestions to the house.

The delegates were from Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Liberia, Lithuania, Myanmar, Niger, Russia, Sudan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Ghana, Kenya, Lesotho, Mozambique, Swaziland, Uganda, Afghanistan, Cote D’ lvoire, Sri Lanka, Botswana, Zimbabwe and India were present there.

Daniel Tibebe Nekatibeb Ethiopia said that I have never met a personality like Sandeep Marwah. His achievements are beyond reach. Egle Stebuliene from Lithuania said that Sandeep Marwah should have been in the federal government of India and government must utilize the vast experience he has. Robert Wafula Masinde invited Marwah to Kenya for motivational trip.

Ahmad Khan Bigzadah said that Sandeep Marwah is already popular in Afghanistan and needs no introduction. Salebona Mamba would love to come back to Marwah Studios for film education.
