10th International Festival of Cellphone Cinema Inaugurated

Noida: 10^th International Festival of Cellphone Cinema inaugurated wih great pomp and show at Marwah Studios at Noida Film City planned and designed by International Film And Television Club of AAFT.

“More than three hundred thousand interactions and inquiries have taken place in last two months for this unique first ever film festival related to mobile phones. The world is excited about the show,” said Sandeep Marwah President of the festival introducing the birth of the IFCPC.

“I am proud to be associated with this festival from the day one. It is the result of a joint film which was short in 2006 in Noida and balance in New York in 2007. The first ever film festival of the Universe on cellphone cinema has grown big in 10 years,” added Prof Karl Bardosh Master Professor in Kanbar Film School, Tisch School of Arts, New York University, USA.

“What A pleasure to know so much about not only the festival but the activities of Marwah Studios. The festival is a full-fledged promotion of Mobile Industry. In last so many years it must have generated huge demand for the mobile phone. I appreciate the uniqueness and innovative ideas of Sandeep Marwah,” said Gopal Jiwarjika President of PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industries.

“The importance of Cellphone we realized when we used the shooting material in our feature film shot by Mobile phone, and could not find the difference. It is a wonderful tool to learn different aspects of film making,” said Pankaj Parashar renowned film director lately famous for his feature film Banaras.

“I am ready to support and need affiliation from Marwah Studios to raise the level of events on art and culture like this international festival,” expressed Dr. Mridula Tandon President of NGO Sakhshi.

“It is a great achievement for the Republic of India to initiate a festival of this kind and so different to promote art and culture,” said Mike Berry Jury Member of Cannes International Festival and Emmy Musical Awards.

Shajida Khan renowned actor, Dr. Sachin Bharti of Guru Gobind Singh Inderprast University, Dr. Ajay Kumar Director ASMS, Kalyan Sarkar Director Festival also spoke on the occasion.

Ashok Tyagi Secretary General International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry, Sunil Sharma renowned Cinematographer, Yogesh Srivastava Director PHD, Anju Handa Dy Director IFCFC were also present there.

Earlier a solo show of Mehar Juneja was also inaugurated by all the dignities with 35 colorful paintings depicting spirituality and waves quite related to the festival.

IFTC Presents 10th International Festival of Cellphone Cinema

New Delhi: The International Film And Television Club-IFTC of Marwah Studios has given 10 best festivals to the nation for the promotion of film, television and media business in this part of the World.

Every festival has created an international space for itself and has been attended by people from all over the World. AAFT Festival of Short Digital Films, Global Film Festival, Global Festival of Journalism, WeCare Festival of Films on Disability, Global Literary Festival, ASMS & ASC Festival of Short Films, Children’s Film Festival and IFCPC.

International Festival of Cellphone Cinema presented by IFTC, was planned in 2007. The first edition took place in 2008 and there is no looking back. The festival has picked up so well that many film schools have initiated the same kind of business in their Sybille.

10^th Edition of International Festival of Cellphone Cinema has already attracting entries from different parts of the World with powerful films and stills to its account.

Indo Wales Creative Forum, Indo Polish Film Association, Indo Nigerian Film Association, Indo Hungarian Film Association, Indo Serbia Cultural Forum, Indo Romania Film And Cultural Forum, Indo Czech Republic Film And Cultural Forum are supporting the 10^th International Festival of Cellphone Cinema informed Sandeep Marwah festival President.

Indo Cyprus Cultural Association, Indo Senegal Cultural Forum, Indo Egypt Cultural Forum, Indo South African Cultural Forum, Indo Gabon Cultural Forum, Indo Ghana Cultural Forum, Indo Sudan Cultural Forum are the other international organizations which has given their consent to be part of 10^th International Festival of Cellphone Cinema.

“Like last time we are expecting large number of entries from all over the World and its going to be a tough competition this time,” added Sandeep Marwah.

ICMEI Extended Its Wing to Large Number of Countries

London: The President of ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry Sandeep Marwah informed filmmakers, journalists and people from the UK media and Entertainment Industry about the activities of the Chamber during his visit to London, UK

“ICMEI is the only Chamber in the World which has declared 162 International Scholarships for the most deserving students from different countries of the World. It has also announced 162 joint ventures in film making,” said Sandeep Marwah in a press meet at Hotel Rosewood London at Holborn.

ICMEI has conducted 120 National and international level events during this year including Workshops, Seminars, Interactions, Talks, Exhibitions, Festivals, Screenings, Music, Books and Poster Releases, Dance Recitals, Music Recitals of national and international fame artists and many fashion Shows, conferences and summits to support media and entertainment industry, fashion industry and hospitality and tourism industry internationally.

“ICMEI now supporting not only Film, Television, Media, Fashion, Business & Management Schools, It has also added a Law School, Hospitality and Tourism School and Music School under its Umbrella,” added Marwah.

New Delhi: Chief Patron of NAI -News Paper Association of India Sandeep Marwah and Secretary General NAI Vipin Gaur presented NAI Award to  Arjun Ram Meghwal the Union Minister of State in finance and Corporate Affairs in Government of India as a gesture of love and regards.

Arjun Ram Meghwal is an Indian politician belonging to the Bharatiya Janata Party and former party Chief Whip in 16th Lok Sabha, Currently He is Union Minister of State in Finance and Corporate Affairs in Government of India He has been elected to the 15^th and 16th Lok Sabhas from Bikaner constituency Rajasthan in 2009.

He was awarded the Best parliamentarian Award in 2013. Mr. Meghwal doesn't use the car provided by the government in commuting for work. Instead, he uses his pushbike as a local transport mode.

“I am proud to be associated with NAI and happy to learn how much this organization id doing for the welfare of journalists,” said Arjun Ram Meghwal.

Sandeep Marwah briefed Minister with the importance of 12^th February which has been declared as International Journalism Day from India, the Global Festival of Journalism, the only journalistic festival of the World and International Journalism Centre and its activities.
