| ICMEI Extends Warm Greetings to the Democratic Republic of Congo on Its National Day |
New Delhi, India – 30 June 2025: The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) proudly conveys its heartfelt congratulations to Her Excellency Mrs Rosette Mossi Nyamale, Ambassador of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DR Congo) to India, and to the Congolese people on the joyous occasion of DR Congo’s National Day, celebrated annually on 30 June.
Marking the anniversary of the nation’s independence, this day is a powerful reminder of DR Congo’s vibrant heritage and its dynamic role on the African continent.
Dr Sandeep Marwah, President of ICMEI and Founder of Noida Film City, highlighted the deepening friendship between the two countries: “India and the Democratic Republic of Congo share a bond built on mutual respect, rich cultural traditions, and an ever-growing spirit of cooperation. Through ICMEI, we are keen to establish the Indo–DR Congo Film and Cultural Forum, a dedicated platform that will harness film, music, visual arts, and education to strengthen people-to-people ties.
