| AAFT Celebrates Teachers’ Day with Tribute to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan |
Noida, India – 5th September 2026: AAFT and the Asian Education Group celebrated Teachers’ Day with great enthusiasm and respect at their educational institutions in Noida. The occasion paid tribute to the teaching fraternity and commemorated the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, distinguished philosopher, educationist and former President of India, in whose honour Teachers’ Day is observed across the country.
Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts and President of the Asian Education Group, addressed the faculty and staff of the Asian Education Group and AAFT Group of Education, highlighting the invaluable contribution of teachers in shaping individuals, institutions and nations.
“Teachers are the architects of society. They do much more than impart knowledge—they inspire confidence, cultivate values, encourage creativity and prepare young minds to face the challenges of the future. A strong nation is built in its classrooms, and teachers are the true builders of that foundation,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah.
Dr. Marwah emphasized that education must go beyond textbooks and examinations. “The responsibility of an educational institution is to develop not only successful professionals but also responsible, compassionate and enlightened human beings. A teacher’s greatest achievement is to see students grow beyond expectations and contribute meaningfully to society,” he added.
He further expressed his appreciation to the entire teaching fraternity associated with AAFT and the Asian Education Group for their dedication, commitment and continuous efforts in maintaining high standards of education.
As part of the celebration, a special commemorative poster dedicated to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was formally launched. The poster served as a tribute to his extraordinary contribution to education, philosophy and public life and reminded everyone of his enduring belief in the transformative power of teachers.
The celebration concluded with a renewed commitment by the faculty and academic leadership to uphold the dignity of the teaching profession and continue working towards excellence, innovation and value-based education.
The event reflected the institutions’ strong belief that teachers remain the guiding force behind every generation and education continues to be one of the most powerful instruments for building a peaceful, progressive and prosperous world.
