Exhibition of Paintings Connecting to Cinema Inaugurated at 127th AAFT Festival

Noida, India: An inspiring exhibition of paintings themed around the world of cinema was inaugurated during the 127th AAFT Festival of Short Digital Films at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida. The exhibition was thoughtfully designed and presented by the AAFT School of Fine Arts, showcasing a unique blend of visual art and cinematic expression.

The exhibition featured a diverse collection of artworks that beautifully captured the essence of cinema—its emotions, storytelling, iconic moments, and cultural impact. Through colors, textures, and creative interpretations, the artists paid tribute to the powerful influence of films on society and human imagination.

The initiative highlighted the interdisciplinary approach of AAFT, encouraging students to explore connections between different art forms and push the boundaries of creativity. The event was supported by Asian Academy of Arts.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios, appreciated the efforts of the young artists and emphasized the importance of integrating fine arts with cinema. He stated that such exhibitions not only enhance aesthetic sensibilities but also provide a platform for emerging talent to gain visibility and recognition.

The exhibition added a vibrant and intellectual dimension to the festival, attracting film enthusiasts, artists, and guests from various creative fields. It stood as a testament to the rich synergy between cinema and visual arts, making the 127th AAFT Festival a truly multidimensional cultural experience.

Sandeep Marwah Inaugurating Exhibition at India Habitat Centre

New Delhi: “It is a great pleasure to talk to every artist and know more about their art, way of thinking and under what circumstances they have actually created that particular painting. I can understand that a painting is the reflection of your thinking and feelings of that time. It also shows the characteristics of the painter,” expressed Sandeep Marwah while inaugurating the exhibition of paintings by different artist titled ‘Voice of Intersoul’ at Open Palm Courts, India Habitat Centre.

“This is the first exhibition which has taken place in India Habitat Centre after eighteen months under norms and conditions. We have senior and upcoming artists. There is a new excitement among all of us,” said Iqbal Krishan curator of the exhibition.

“These exhibitions bring lots of enthusiasm and closeness among the people. They are also the representation of art and culture of the Nation,” said Naresh Sirohi  Former National Vice President of the Bharatiya Janata Party Kisan Morcha.

Christina Dipamoni, Lakshmi Khwairakpam, Manish Pandey, Neeraj Sharma, Neha Bisht, Niharika Agarwal, Manjeet, Maria Margarita, Sashrika Prasad, Shreya Ahuja, Shubham Malav, Sonam Gupta, Subtara Bose, Swati Sanil Sahu, Swapan Roy presented their works in the exhibition.
