New Delhi: A powerful function to support Government of India’s faverouite program of Promotion of Hindi language along with promotion of Hindi cinema was organized by International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry in association with FWICE- Federation of Western India Cine Employees at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.
   
“After celebrating National Education Day on 11th November during Global Film Festival, which is also the birthday of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, eminent educationist and the first Education Minister of independent India we added 12th November as Hindi Cinema Samman Diwas to honor all those who have contributed in the promotion of Hindi through Hindi Cinema,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and ICMEI.

Veteran actor Jackie Shroff, actor and General Secretary CINTAA- Cine and Television Actors Association Sushant Singh and President ICMEI Sandeep Marwah handed over the “Hindi Cinema Sahyogi Samman” to H.E. Dr. Sabit Subasic Ambassador of Bosnia And Herzegovina to India.

Ambassador was awarded in the presence of   Vijay Goel Minister for State of Parliamentary Affairs and statistic implementation Government of India and MP & former Union Minister Shatrughan Sinha also Chairman Hindi Cinema Samman Samiti. The President of IMPTPA T.P. Agarwal and President FWICE B.N. Tewari were also present there.

“We are trying our best to grow our relationship through films, arts and culture. ICMEI is helping us in achieving our goal. Very soon we will come out with flying colors,” said H.E. Dr. Sabit Subasic Ambassador of Bosnia And Herzegovina to India.

Ambassador was awarded in the presence of   Vijay Goel Minister for State of Parliamentary Affairs and statistic implementation Government of India and Shartughan Sinha MP & former Union Minister, Chairman Hindi Cinema Samman Samiti, T.P. Agarwal President IMPTPA and B.N. Tewari President FWICE.

“I am more than excited to receive this prestigious National Award. I will always remember the honor bestowed upon me by ICMEI and Government of India. High Commissioner was awarded in the presence of   Vijay Goel Minister for State of Parliamentary Affairs and statistic implementation Government of India and MP & former Union Minister Shatrughan Sinha also Chairman Hindi Cinema Samman Samiti. The President of IMPTPA T.P. Agarwal and President FWICE B.N. Tewari were also present there.

The National award to Cyprus has added a new energy to our relationship with India, I am sure we will be able to create a new history together,” said H.E. Demetrious A. Adeep Tondon Honored With Hindi Cinema Sevi Samman

New Delhi: New Delhi: A well-known Cinematographer and President of Indian Cinematographers Society Addep Tondon was honored with the most prestigious National award for Hindi cinema- Hindi Cinema Sevi Samman for his selfless services to the industry on the 3^rd day of 10^th Global Film Festival at Vigyan Bhawan.

The President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry Sandeep Marwah, renowned cine star Jackie Shroff and CINTAA President Sushant Singh presented the award to Adeep Tondon in a jam packed auditorium of Vigyan Bhawan.

Earlier renowned cine star and member parliament Shartughan Sinha, Vijay Goel Minister for State Parliamentary Affairs and Statistical Implementation Government of India had spoken about the role of Hindi cinema in uniting the nation and developing the language for all these years.

 Adeep Tandon is well known Veteran Cinematographer who photographed More 30 Hindi Films like Sharaansh, Thikana, Grah Parvesh, Censor, Chargesheet etc. and is the President of Indian Cinematographers Society.
