ICMEI and Indian Art & Culture Fraternity Extend Heartiest Congratulations to Cambodia on Independence Day

New Delhi, 9th November 2025: The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) and the entire Art and Culture Fraternity of India conveyed their warmest greetings to the Kingdom of Cambodia on the occasion of its Independence Day.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Chair for the Indo Cambodia Film and Cultural Forum, extended heartfelt felicitations to Her Excellency Rath Many, Ambassador of Cambodia to India, and to the people of Cambodia, celebrating the spirit of freedom, resilience, and progress that defines the nation.

“India and Cambodia have enjoyed a deep-rooted and historic relationship built on shared cultural heritage, spiritual bonds, and mutual respect. Our ties continue to grow stronger through sustained cooperation in art, culture, education, and media,” said Dr. Marwah.

He reaffirmed ICMEI’s commitment to further strengthening Indo-Cambodian friendship through collaborative cultural initiatives, film exchanges, academic engagements, and people-to-people interactions under the banner of the Indo Cambodia Film and Cultural Forum.

Dr. Marwah emphasized that celebrations such as Cambodia’s Independence Day serve as a powerful reminder of the enduring friendship between the two nations and the shared values that unite them.

ICMEI Congratulates Cambodia on Independence Day

New Delhi, India – 9th November: Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), extended heartfelt congratulations to H.E. Koy Kuong, Ambassador of Cambodia to India, and the people of Cambodia on the occasion of Cambodia’s Independence Day.

Dr. Marwah emphasized the strong cultural ties between India and Cambodia, nurtured by the efforts of the Indo-Cambodia Film and Cultural Forum (ICFCF). He highlighted ICFCF’s ongoing initiatives to strengthen bilateral relations through arts and cultural exchanges.

“We ae very happy that Indo Cambodia Film and Cultural Forum has picked fast and large number of activities have been planned in the next few months including the participation in 15th Global Film Festival Noida 2022, informed Sandeep Marwah also Chair for Indo Cambodia Film and Cultural Forum.

Rajkumar Ranjan Singh, Hon’ble Minister of State for External Affairs and Education,  Government of India was the chief Guest on the grand event. Large number of Ambassadors, High Commissioners, diplomats of various countries, businessmen, bureaucrats, people from art and culture were present on the occasion.

Ambassador Ung Sean Patron to Indo Cambodia Cultural Forum

New Delhi: The President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry Dr. Sandeep Marwah presented Patron ship of Indo Cambodia Film And Cultural Forum of ICMEI to H.E. Ung Sean Ambassador of Cambodia to India a the Royal Embassy of Cambodia in New Delhi.

“We have a powerful committee on Indo Cambodia relations and it is our privileged that H.E. Ung Sean has very kindly accepted to be the patron of the same. We are sure that we will be able to work much better and faster under his leadership,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah presenting the memento to the Ambassador.

“I am pleased to receive the delegation from ICMEI and it is my honor to be associated with Indo Cambodia Film And Cultural Forum. We will take our relations to higher platform through this forum. I am thankful to Dr. Marwah for the patron ship presented to me,” expressed H.E. Ung Sean Ambassador of Cambodia to India.

The Secretary General of ICMEI Ashok Tyagi, Coordinator of Indo Cambodia Chapter Vijay Laxmi Mishra and diplomats from the embassy were witness to the historical moment.  Soon Cambodia embassy will sign MOU with the chamber.

Sandeep Marwah Nominated Chair For Indo Cambodia Cultural Forum


Noida: “We are pleased to nominate Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios as the Chair of this newly constituted Indo Cambodia Film And Cultural Forum today, the most appropriate name for this designation,” said Dato Sri Dr. Sirajudeen a well known social worker and advisor to the Prime Minister of Cambodia during his visit to Noida Film City.

Sandeep Marwah is seven times World Record Holder and has been associated with many first in India. He is the founder of first Film city in North India, first professional film studios in North India, first Private Film School in India, first private film research centre in India, first Film Club in India, first Radio Station of Noida and now first film University of the country.

He is the first person from Media and entertainment industry to reach to the level of Chancellor of the University in 73 years. He is also the first media person of the country to be raised to the level of Chief Scout For India.

“I am thankful to the people of Cambodia for showing so much confidence    in me. I will work day and night to develop and promote the relation between the          two countries,” said Sandeep Marwah feeling obliged by the gesture.

Indo Cambodia Film And Cultural Forum Formed at ICMEI


Noida: A powerful delegation from Cambodia proposed ICMEI to frame and launched a new setup under the name and banner of Indo Cambodia Film And Cultural Forum to enhance the relation between two countries on their visit to India last week.

“We are keen in building up a very strong relation and tie-ups with India through art and culture. An organization specializing in creative arts can understand and perform better. International Chamber of Media And Entertainment   Industry is the best choice for us,” said Dato Sri Dr. Sirajudeen Advisor to the Prime Minister of Cambodia Hun Sen releasing the poster of Indo Cambodia Film And Cultural Forum.

“We welcome the team from Hun Sen Office. H.E. Hun Sen is a Cambodian politician who has served as the Prime Minister of Cambodia since 1985. He is currently the world's longest-serving prime minister, the longest-serving head of government of Cambodia, and one of the longest-serving leaders in the world,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah

“The efficiency of ICMEI, the infrastructure, the presentation of the program so timely and appropriate that it can put to any management guru to surprise. I am proud to be present here at this historical moment when first ever            organization of this kind is being launched,” said Dr. S. S. R.  Ramdas former Member of Parliament Lok Sabha present on the occasion.

It is dream come true. What we thought a day back has been converted into reality. I am convinced that ICMEI is the body to depend upon,’ added Vijay Laxmi Mishra an educationist and consultant.

Dato Sri Dr. Sirajudeen nominated Dr. Sandeep Marwah as the Chair for Indo Cambodia Film And Cultural Forum. Later Sandeep Marwah honored Dr. Sirajudeen, and Dr. Ramdas with the Patronship of the forum and  Vijay Laxmi with life membership of ICFCF.
