ICMEI Congratulates Greece on Independence Day; Indo-Greece Film and Cultural Forum Gaining Momentum

New Delhi, March 30: The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) extends its warmest congratulations to Her Excellency Aliki Koutsomitopoulou, the Ambassador of Greece to India, and to the people of Greece on the occasion of their National Independence Day falls on 25th March.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of ICMEI and founder of Marwah Studios, expressed his deep admiration for the rich history, cultural legacy, and democratic values of Greece. “On behalf of ICMEI and the entire Indian media and entertainment fraternity, I convey our heartfelt greetings to Her Excellency the Ambassador and to the people of Greece on their Independence Day. Greece has contributed immensely to world civilization, art, philosophy, and democracy, and we celebrate its enduring spirit today,” said Dr. Marwah.

He also emphasized the growing partnership between India and Greece in the fields of art, cinema, and culture through the Indo-Greece Film and Cultural Forum, an initiative launched under the aegis of ICMEI. “The Indo-Greece Film and Cultural Forum is coming up very well. We are already working on collaborative projects, cultural exchange programs, and film initiatives that will strengthen people-to-people ties and promote deeper mutual understanding between our two nations,” Dr. Marwah added.

The Indo-Greece Film and Cultural Forum aims to create a vibrant platform for artistic collaborations, film screenings, joint productions, and cultural festivals. It also serves as a bridge for dialogue and cooperation between filmmakers, artists, and cultural institutions from both countries.

This initiative aligns with ICMEI’s broader vision of fostering international partnerships through the soft power of media and entertainment. The organization has previously established similar forums with several other nations, reinforcing India’s role as a hub for cultural diplomacy.

The celebrations of Greece’s Independence Day serve as a reminder of shared democratic values and the power of cultural connection in building enduring global friendships.

New Delhi: Dr. Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios and ICMEI- International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry, also the recipient of Alexandra The Great Award from Greece was the special guest at the Embassy of Greece in New Delhi where Embassy organized a business forum aimed at promoting investment opportunities in Greece. The event was attended by Greek and Indian business leaders, government officials, and investors, providing a platform for exploring potential collaborations and partnerships.

The forum highlighted the investment opportunities available in Greece, particularly in the areas of tourism, energy, and technology. Several speakers discussed the benefits of investing in Greece, including its strategic location, educated workforce, and favourable business environment.

The event helped to showcase Greece as an attractive destination for foreign investment and strengthen the economic ties between Greece and India. It also served as a means of fostering greater cultural exchange and understanding between the two nations.

My last visit to Greece with a delegation of 125 people to celebrate Mrs India Pageant brought a wonderful bond between two countries,” added Dr. Marwah also Chancellor of AAFT University of Media And Arts.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah   is the first Indian to be honored with “Alexandra The Great Award’ for promotion of Art and Culture. He was also titled in Greece during this extravaganza as “Sandeep Marwah The Great” for his seven World Records and continuous efforts to bring the whole World close to each other through art and culture.

Haldisiki: Renowned International media personality Sandeep Marwah of Republic of India, with seven World Records to his credit in films television and media, titled as “Sandeep Marwah The Great” and honored with ‘Alexander The Great Award’ at in a majestic function at Porto Carras Grand Resort at Halkidiki, Greece.

Katerina Mousbeh Managing Director of Mideast Travel Wordwide handed over the award to Dr. Sandeep Marwah in the presence of who’s who of Greece and 172 young women who were participating in competition for Mrs India Worldwide Haut Monde from all over the World designed by Shri Sai Entertainments

Sandeep Marwah is the founder of Noida Film City, Marwah Studios, Asian Education Group, AAFT University and100 more International and National Film, Television and media organizations. He is the producer of largest number of short films and he has been associated with 5400 events. He is the recipient of 700 awards from all over the Globe for his contribution to media and entertainment industry, art and culture and social activities, a citation was read by Vandana the anchor of the show.

“Dr. Marwah is a teacher to 17000 media professionals hailing from 145 countries. Now 54 Governments of the World have nominated Sandeep Marwah as their cultural Ambassador. Sandeep Marwah is also the Chief Scout For India,” informed Bharat Kumar President of Mrs India Worldwide Haut Monde 2019.
