ICMEI Congratulates Embassy of Czech Republic on National Day


New Delhi: “I on behalf of ICMEI and complete media and entertainment industry along with art and culture fraternity take this opportunity to extend my heartiest congratulations to H.E. Milan Hovorka Ambassador of Czech Republic to India and the people of Czech Republic on the National Day (Independence Day) which falls on th October,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Founder of Noida Film City & President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry.

The formation of Indo Czech Republic Film And Cultural Forum between Embassy of Czech Republic and International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry brought two countries close to each other. Czech Republic has been now part of all the important events of ICMEI including global Festival of Journalism, Global Fashion Week and recently held Global Literary Festival. ICFCF is also going to participate in forthcoming 13th Global Film Festival Noida2020 in the month of November.

The two visits of Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President Marwah ICMEI and Chair for Indo Czech Republic Film And Cultural Forum, to Prague the capital of Czech Republic, has added a lot to strengthen the relations between people to people.

Tomas Petricek Patron to Indo Czech Republic Cultural Forum

New Delhi: Renowned media person Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Chair for Indo Czech Republic Film And Cultural Forum presented Patronship to H.E. Tomas Petricek the Federal Minister of External Affairs of Czech Republic on his official visit to India.

“We are honored to present the Patron ship to H.E. Tomas Petricek the Foreign Minister of Czech Republic as a mark of respect and remembrance for his trip to India. I am sure his guidance and blessings will take this forum to new heights,” said Sandeep Marwah in a event at DBS bank, Baba Kharaksingh Marg.

“I am thankful to ICFCF for such a beautiful gesture,” This is an another interesting and powerful event. My meetings with Dr. S. Jaishankar, Piyush Goyal and H.S. Puri have been very successful. We will enhance our relations to new platform,” said Tomas Petricek while accepting the memento.

 H.E. Milan Hovorka Ambassador of Czech Republic to India, Roman Masarik Deputy Head of the Mission, delegates from Czech Republic, staff and management of DBS Bank and people from all strata of life attended the event.. The minister also inaugurated an exhibition of Czech Cut glass.

Sandeep Marwah Released Postage Stamp on Mahatma Gandhi


New Delhi: A postage stamp to comrade 150th Anniversary of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi, the Government of   Czech Republic released a stamp on Mahatma Gandhi at Embassy of Czech Republic in New Delhi.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University, the visiting Director General of Ministry of Trade from Czech Republic Richard Hlavaty, Milan Hovorka Ambassador of Czech Republic to India, released the Stamp. Roman Masarik Deputy Head of The Mission conducted the event.

“It is great pleasure and honor for me to release the new postage stamp on Mahatma Gandhi designed by the Government of Czech Republic to remember him on his 150th Anniversary. The people of India are touched by the gesture of Government of Czech Republic,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor AAFT University & President ICMEI.

“Mahatma Gandhi has been    not only Indian Hero but he is considered as the great international personality. You will find the largest number of Books, Films, Stamps and Statues on Mahatma Gandhi in the World. He has been considered as the most popular public figure in the World,” added Dr. Marwah.

Richard Hlavaty Director General Department of Foreign Economic Policy also spoke on the occasion. H.E. Milan Hovorka thanked  the guest of honor and the large audience consisting of Ambassadors, High Commissioners, Diplomats and people from business, art and culture fraternity.
