Dr. Sandeep Marwah Extends Congratulations to Kuwait on National Day

New Delhi: Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), on behalf of the media and entertainment industry and the art and culture fraternity of India, extended his heartiest congratulations to His Excellency Mr. Meshal Mustafa J. Alshemali, Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to India, and to the people of Kuwait on the proud occasion of the National Day of Kuwait, celebrated on 25th February.

Dr. Marwah conveyed his warm wishes for peace, prosperity, and continued development to the friendly nation of Kuwait and appreciated the strong and cordial relations shared between India and Kuwait.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Marwah stated, “The Indo Kuwait Film and Cultural Forum of ICMEI is consistently trying to strengthen and promote bilateral relations between India and Kuwait through art, cinema, media, and cultural exchanges. Cultural diplomacy plays a significant role in bringing the people of both nations closer together.”

He further emphasized that ICMEI remains committed to organizing joint programs, film festivals, seminars, exhibitions, and academic collaborations to enhance people-to-people connections and mutual understanding.

Dr. Marwah wished His Excellency Meshal Mustafa J. Alshemali great success in his diplomatic mission and extended sincere greetings to the people of Kuwait on their National Day.

ICMEI Honors Kuwait National Day at Marwah Studios

Noida, India – The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), under the esteemed leadership of Dr. Sandeep Marwah, joyfully celebrated Kuwait’s National Day with a grand event at Marwah Studios, Noida Film City. The occasion underscored the growing cultural and diplomatic ties between India and Kuwait, showcasing the significance of media, cinema, and artistic collaborations in fostering international relations.

Extending his warm greetings, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of ICMEI, congratulated His Excellency Meshal Mustafa J Alshemali, Ambassador of Kuwait, and the people of Kuwait as they marked their National Day on 25th February.

ICMEI Congratulated on National Day of Kuwait

ICMEI Congratulated Embassy of Kuwait on National Day

New Delhi: “I on behalf of ICMEI and complete media & entertainment industry and art & culture fraternity extend my heartiest congratulations to H.E. Jasem Ibrahem J.M. Al Najem Ambassador of Kuwait to India and people of Kuwait on the auspicious day of  their National Day which falls on 25th February,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah  President of  International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry.

The two countries share friendly ties. Kuwait houses a large expatriate Indian population and is the source for 10-12% of India’s oil imports while India is among the largest trade partners of Kuwait.

ICMEI has introduced a committee on Kuwait at AAFT University of Media And Arts and recently prepared a report on Kuwait which was handed over to the Ambassador. Soon Indo Kuwait Cultural Forum shall be formally inaugurated by the Ambassador informed Marwah.

Sandeep Marwah Special Guest at National Day of Kuwait




New Delhi: The National Day of Embassy of Kuwait was celebrated with great pomp and show at Hotel Leela New Delhi. The Ambassadors, High Commissioners, Consul Generals, Business Men and people from the creative fields, attended the event.

Today we are celebrating 59th National Day in recognition of the day when Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah became Emir of the State of Kuwait in 1950. said H.E. Jassem Al-Najem Ambassador of Kuwait to India.


T. S. Tirumurti, an author and Indian diplomat who belongs to the Indian Foreign Service is currently the Secretary (Economic Relations) in the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India was the Chief Guest.

National Day of Kuwait Celebrated at AAFT


Noida: “I on my behalf and on behalf of media and entertainment Industry of India extend heartiest congratulations to the people of Kuwait on the national day which falls on 25th February,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

“India and Kuwait have wonderful relations from last so many years. Still the country has to create a better platform in India as far as art and culture is concerned. ICMEI putting its best to do the needful,” added Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry.

A letter-containing message of congratulation was sent to the Ambassador of Kuwait. Soon ICMEI will request the Ambassador of Kuwait to India to formally inaugurate the committee on Kuwait at ICMEI. A poster was launched at Marwah studios to high light the relation between India and Kuwait.

New Delhi: The President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry Dr. Sandeep Marwah Visited the Embassy of Kuwait on the invitation of H.E. Mr Sami Mohammad Al-Sulaiman Ambassador of Kuwait to India.

“We extend our partnership to the country of Kuwait and would love to enhance our relationship through cultural diplomacy. We have always believed that art and culture can play better and bigger role  in bringing people of two countries together,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah offering permanent membership of the Chamber to  the Ambassador.

"We will soon be launching Indo Kuwait Film And Cultural Forum and will take our relationship to new level. It is important for people of both the countries to know each other better,” said H.E. Mr Sami Mohammad Al-Sulaiman Ambassador of Kuwait to India.

Kuwait is a constitutional sovereign state with a semi-democratic political system. Kuwait has a high-income economy backed by the world's sixth largest oil reserves. The Kuwaiti dinar is the highest valued currency in the world informed Ashok Tyagi Secretary General of ICMEI.

According to the World Bank, the country has the fourth highest per capita income. The Constitution was promulgated in 1962. Kuwait is home to the largest opera house in the Middle East. The Kuwait National Cultural District is a member of the Global Cultural Districts Network.
