Noida, India: The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) extends its heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency Jan Thesleff, Ambassador of Sweden to India, and to the people of Sweden on the occasion of the National Day of Sweden, celebrated on 6th June.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of ICMEI and Chair of the Indo Sweden Film and Cultural Forum, conveyed his warm greetings and best wishes to the Government and citizens of Sweden on this important national occasion.

“India and Sweden enjoy excellent bilateral relations founded on mutual respect, innovation, sustainability, and cultural understanding. Over the years, the relationship between our two countries has grown stronger through cooperation in trade, education, technology, culture, and creative industries,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah.

Dr. Marwah emphasized that ICMEI, through its Indo Sweden Film and Cultural Forum, has been actively promoting people-to-people contacts and cultural exchanges between India and Sweden. The forum has continuously worked to strengthen friendship and cooperation through films, media, art, culture, education, and tourism.

“Cultural diplomacy plays a vital role in bringing nations closer. We remain committed to further enhancing the bonds between India and Sweden through meaningful cultural and artistic initiatives,” added Dr. Marwah.

Sujata Viswas to Represent ICMEI in Sweden

Noida, India – October 24, 2024 – The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) has announced that Sujata Viswas will represent the esteemed organization in Sweden. This decision was finalized during a strategic meeting between Sujata Viswas and Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of ICMEI, at the International Headquarters of ICMEI located at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida.

Sujata Viswas, a renowned TEDx speaker and former Ms. India, has been recognized for her exceptional communication skills and leadership in media. Dr. Marwah suggested that Sujata’s expertise could further enhance ICMEI’s global outreach by producing interview-based programs for Radio Noida in Sweden. These programs will focus on featuring individuals who truly deserve recognition for their achievements.

In addition, Dr. Marwah proposed the establishment of an Indo-Sweden Film and Cultural Forum to strengthen cultural and creative ties between the two nations. This forum will be an extension of ICMEI’s ongoing efforts to promote international collaborations in the media and entertainment sectors.

The meeting, initiated by well-known documentary filmmaker Ajay Chitnis, marks an exciting step forward in fostering Indo-Swedish relations through media and culture.

New Delhi: “I on behalf of Indian Media and Entertainment Industry and Art & Culture Fraternity of India take this opportunity to extend my heartiest congratulations to H.E. Klas Molin Ambassador of Sweden  to India and people of Sweden on their Republic  Day falls on 6^th June,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry while sending his best wishes to the Embassy of Sweden.

“It was a great presentation by Elias Wahlund stunt director and CEO of an organization- Creative Minds of Sweden on his visit to AAFT at Marwah Studios Film City Noida. It was followed by a delegation of film makers from Sweden including Csaba Ben Perlenberg the director of the film preparing a docudrama of Indo Swedish story along with lead lady of the film Niki Borgeke, Oscar Aldgard the hero of the film, Chris Maris a senior  cinematographer and Syed Kazmi ,an AAFTian settled in Sweden.

Only recently Dr Marwah had the pleasure to share the dice with Kamal Jabr an academician from Sweden in an International Educational Summit. Indo Sweden Film And Cultural Forum is putting its best to move forward in a big way informed Dr. Marwah.
