Noida: The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) joined in the celebrations of the Independence Day of Papua New Guinea on 16th September, paying tribute to the nation’s journey of progress and cultural pride.

On this occasion, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of ICMEI and Chancellor of AAFT University, extended his warm greetings and congratulations to H.E. Vincent Sumale, High Commissioner of Papua New Guinea to India, and to the people of Papua New Guinea.

“India and Papua New Guinea share wonderful relations, and these ties continue to grow stronger each year. We are pleased that the Indo Papua New Guinea Film and Cultural Forum has been an active partner with ICMEI, supporting our major international events including the Global Literary Festival, Global Fashion Week, Global Film Festival, and the Global Festival of Journalism,” said Dr. Marwah.

He further emphasized that cultural diplomacy and people-to-people connect form the foundation of stronger bilateral relations, and ICMEI is committed to nurturing this bond between India and Papua New Guinea.

Noida: 15th September 2025: The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), in collaboration with AAFT University of Media and Arts, proudly celebrated the Independence Day of the Republic of Guatemala at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida, reaffirming its strong commitment to cultural diplomacy and international cooperation.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of ICMEI and Chancellor of AAFT University, extended his warm congratulations to H.E. Mr. Omar Lisandro Castañeda Solares, Ambassador of Guatemala to India, and to the people of Guatemala on the joyous occasion of their National Day, observed every year on 15th September.

“India and Guatemala have built a solid foundation of friendship and mutual respect. Our ties are growing stronger every year through cultural, educational, and diplomatic exchanges,” said Dr. Marwah during the event. “We are proud to celebrate Guatemala’s independence and to acknowledge the remarkable relationship shared by our two nations.”

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of ICMEI and Chancellor of AAFT University, extended his heartfelt congratulations to H.E. Mr. Guillermo Rubio Funes, Ambassador of El Salvador to India, and to the people of El Salvador on the occasion of their National Day, celebrated annually on 15th September.

“India and El Salvador share a strong foundation of friendship, cooperation, and mutual respect. As both our nations continue to strengthen ties across sectors—especially in education, art, and culture—celebrating this historic day together becomes even more meaningful,” said Dr. Marwah during his welcome address.

Mr. Néstor Gabriel Biltodano Vargas, Ambassador of Costa Rica to India, and to the people of Costa Rica on the occasion of their National Day, which falls on 15th September each year.
