Exhibition of Set Design Inaugurated at 14th Global Film Festival

Noida: “Exhibition is the representation of your experiments and hard work. It is a short story of your long working hours. We believe that exhibitions bring new energy to festivals and deep involvement of group of people,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of AAFT School of Cinema at the inauguration of Exhibition of Sets created by the students of AAFT School of Cinema reflecting popular films during 14th Global Film Festival Noida 2021.

“What an idea, the art department of Cinema School has done a commendable job. You can instantly recognise the popular films from these models of sets, students have taken their inspirations from. I congratulate these young film makers,” said H.E. Paulias Korni High Commissioner of Papua New Guinea to India while lighting the ceremonial lamp.

“It is an opportunity for many to learn many things in a festival like this. This is an entertainment and education. I am pleased to see the preparations and the efforts gone into the celebration of Cinema in a such a massive way,” said H.E.  Fleming Duarte Ambassador of Paraguay to India appreciating hard work of students.

Renowned Singer & actor Arun Bakshi, Cinematographer Sanjeev Sood, Model Syma Sheikh also spoke on the occasion. The students of AAFT School of Cinema were invited by Arun Bakshi to Mumbai for better and bigger prospects. Ashok Tyagi festival director proposed vote of thanks.

Indo Papua New Guinea Cultural Forum Launched at Marwah Studios


Launching of Indo Papua New Guinea Cultural Forum at ICMEI


Noida: It was the joint decision of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry and High Commission of Papua New Guinea to  launch a new committee under the name and banner of Indo Papua New Guinea Film And Cultural Forum.

“We are creating a history today by launching the first ever Indo Papua Cultural Forum in last 70 years. Where no one of thought of starting a committee like this ever. ICMEI has many events planned already for this committee and soon we will start operating in this organization,” stated Dr. Sandeep Marwah welcoming the guest from all over India.

Today is a very auspicious day when India and Papua New Guinea launching another association to built better relations between two countries through art and culture. It is very encouraging to see that so many people especially from media are now interested in knowing about my country,” said H.E.Paulias Korni High Commissioner of Papua New Guinea to India.

A poster was launched to mark the opening of the Indo Papua New Guinea Film And Cultural Forum by the dignities present on the stage in the presence of august audience.

The High Commissioner, Government of Papua New Guinea, nominated Dr. Sandeep Marwah as the Chair of this new forum and Dr. Sandeep Marwah presented Patron ship to the High Commissioner.

 Former Engineer in Chief Doordarshan, Ministry of Information And Broadcasting Government of India R.K.Singh, Alumnus of AAFT Internationally known Photographer Augustus Mithal, Fashion Consultant Megha Puri, Director School of Journalism Noida International University Amitabh Srivastava, Documentary Film Maker Savita Oberoi and Director AAFT Amir Abdullah expressed their views one by one.

Noida: large media persons from all over India attended a grand opening of 104th Batch of Asian Academy of Film And Television at Marwah Studios Film City Noida.

“It is a record now that no film school has ever opened so far 104th session. We are breaking our own record of launching new session of media courses. The credit goes o each and every one who has been part of Marwah Studios,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah emotionally.

“I have learned about this institution a lot on my visit to Marwah Studios. Well begin Half Done and I think the right institution can change your future. I congratulate all the new students to be here at this international institution. I wish you all the success in life,” said H.E. Paulias Korni High Commissioner of Papua New Guinea as Chief Guest of the inauguration of 104th batch of AAFT.

R.K.Singh Former Engineer in Chief Doordarshan, Alumnus Photographer Augustus Mithal, Megha Puri Fashion Consultant, Amitabh Srivastav Director Noida International University and Film Maker Savita Oberoi expressed their views one by one.

Later Dr. Sandeep Marwah presented life membership of International Film And Television Club of   AAFT University to all the dignities.

Noida: Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry presented Patron ship of Indo Papua New Guinea Film And Cultural Forum to Paulias Korni in a grand function at Noida Film City.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah briefed High Commissioner about the main departments of Chamber consisting of Print, Radio, Television, Cinema, Hospitality, Tourism, Fashion, Design, New Media & Animation, Environment, Skill Development, Solar Energy, Education and Events.

Noida: H.E. Paulias Korni High Commissioner of Papua New Guinea, Government of Papua New Guinea, has nominated renowned media personality Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios as Chair for Indo Papua New Guinea Film And Cultural Forum.

“We are proud of our selection, no one can be better promoter of cultural relations between India and Papua New Guinea than Dr. Sandeep Marwah who has been in art and culture business for 35 years. We are hoping the best,” said H.E. Paulias Korni while handing over the Chairmanship to Marwah.

“What a great day and what an excitement for all of us when we have framed a new forum and I have been given the charge for this arrangement. I assure you all that I will do justice to my designation,” Dr. Marwah thanked The Government of Papua New Guinea for the confidence.

Young media persons from all over India attended the event. International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry and AAFT University supported the Indo Papua New Guinea Cultural Forum.
