Iranian Films at 14th Global Film Festival Noida 2021

Films from Iran Screened at 14th Global Film Festival

NOIDA: Some of the most interesting films from Iran have been brought to 14th Global Film Festival Noida 2021 by the Iran Cultural House in New Delhi. All the films including ‘Crazy Castle’, ‘Where Are My Shoes’, and ‘Bodyguard’ were screened on the same day- when the exhibition of art and culture was also inaugurated at Marwah Studios.

“Iran Culture House have been partners with International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry in every possible event at Marwah Studios. We have been conducting many programs together to create awareness about our wonderful relationship and to showcase the vast and deep culture of Iran to the people of India. This time we have the exhibition of different arts from Iran including Cinema,” said Dr. Mohd Ali Rabbani Cultural Counselor of Embassy of Iran.

Iran and India relationship goes back to centuries. From there to new cinema from Iran shows our strong friendship. The films are master pieces and I am sure you will enjoy them ,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios and Chair Indo Iran Film and Cultural Forum.

The films were screened in a house full auditorium including special guest from different parts of the country. Actor Mahima Bakshi, Wellness Expert Garima Bhandari, Dr Leila Mostofi from Iran, Deputy Head of the Mission High Commission of Gambia Lamin Singhateh, Actor Payal Ghosh also expressed their views.

5th Hindi Cinema Samman Samaroh at 14th Global Film Festival Noida

Noida: The highest and the most prestigious award of Hindi Cinema this time was presented to film Producer T.P.Agarwal the designated President of Film Federation of India and President of Indian Motion Picture Producers Association for fifteen years for his untiring services to Indian Film Industry by internationally renowned media personality Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chairman Hindi Cinema Samman Samiti at the fifth edition in a  grand event of 14th Global Film Festival Noida 2021.

Hindi Cinema Bhushan was presented to Padam Shri Anoop Jalota also known as Bhajan Samrat for his long attachment to Indian Film Industry through music. Hindi Cinema Gaurav was presented to known actors like Deepak Tijori, Music Director Hriju Roy, Secretary CINTA & Actor Amit Behal, Actor Rajesh Khattar, Vicki Ranawat, Producer Anjum Rizvi and renowned actor Daizy Shah.

Hindi Cinema Sevi for the promotion of Hindi Cinema was presented to H.E. Lineo Irene Molise Mabusela High Commissioner of Lesotho, H.E. Dilshod Akhatov Ambassador of Uzbekistan, H.E. Carlos Polo Ambassador of Peru, H.E. Muhammed Maliki Ambassador of Morocco, H.E. Juan Angulo Ambassador of Chile, H.E. Kamlesh Shashi Prakash High Commissioner of Fiji, Ambassador Sinisa Pavic Charge d’ Affaires Embassy of Serbia, Roman Masaric Charge d’ Affaires of Embassy of the Czech Republic and producer Director Rajeev Chaudhury.

“We never wanted to shift the program to new date. Though things were quite uncertain because of pandemic, we are lucky that the whole event went above the expectations of people.  The 14th Global Film Festival Noida 2021 saw the footfall of 17000 people with different kinds of events including 9 workshops, 7 exhibitions, foreign films, Indian Films, Director’s Retrospective, films on disability, AAFT Films, ASMS Films, Competition segment and Films on Children.

Special events were organized by forums to respect Mahatma Gandhi, Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru and Shakespeare on three different days of festival. World Computer Literacy Day, Day for Persons with Disability & Navy Day were also observed during the Global Film Festival. National days of Laos and United Arab Emirates were also celebrated.

Regular three days AAFT School of Mass Communication was releasing the newsletter for the festival. Book on Sandeep Marwah was also released on the opening day. The music band of AAFT School of Performing Art was a big entertainer on the first day, followed by Fashion show by AAFT School of Fashion and Design and then the most powerful Hindi Cinema Samman Samaroh was held on the final day.

Exhibition of Set Design Inaugurated at 14th Global Film Festival

Noida: “Exhibition is the representation of your experiments and hard work. It is a short story of your long working hours. We believe that exhibitions bring new energy to festivals and deep involvement of group of people,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of AAFT School of Cinema at the inauguration of Exhibition of Sets created by the students of AAFT School of Cinema reflecting popular films during 14th Global Film Festival Noida 2021.

“What an idea, the art department of Cinema School has done a commendable job. You can instantly recognise the popular films from these models of sets, students have taken their inspirations from. I congratulate these young film makers,” said H.E. Paulias Korni High Commissioner of Papua New Guinea to India while lighting the ceremonial lamp.

“It is an opportunity for many to learn many things in a festival like this. This is an entertainment and education. I am pleased to see the preparations and the efforts gone into the celebration of Cinema in a such a massive way,” said H.E.  Fleming Duarte Ambassador of Paraguay to India appreciating hard work of students.

Renowned Singer & actor Arun Bakshi, Cinematographer Sanjeev Sood, Model Syma Sheikh also spoke on the occasion. The students of AAFT School of Cinema were invited by Arun Bakshi to Mumbai for better and bigger prospects. Ashok Tyagi festival director proposed vote of thanks.

Prithvi Yoga Centre of Marwah Studios Part of 14th Global

New Delhi: Prithvi Yoga Centre – a body of Marwah Studios to popularize the age-old science of Yoga to maintain the healthy status of body, mind, and soul, join hands with 14th Global Film Festival Noida 2021 to be held from 2nd to 4th December at Noida Film City.

“We are happy that we could talk about yoga to more than three million people who all have already been to Noida Film City for one or other reason and have been part of one or other festival or film, TV media events of Marwah Studios. Prithvi Yoga Centre has played the most important part in this popularity of Yoga,” said Sandeep Marwah a spiritual leader.

Koshish Sahyog Join Hands with 14th Global Film Festival 

Noida: A voluntary body looking after the needs and requirements of all those who are eyeing for assistance to be like any other human being, Koshish-Sahyog was created by Sandeep Marwah join hands with 14th Global Film Festival Noida 2021.

“Disability is part of being human. Almost everyone will temporarily or permanently experience disability at some point in their life. Over one billion people – about 15% of the global population – live with some form of disability and this number is increasing,” informed Sandeep Marwah renowned Educationist and Social worker.

Disability results from the interaction between individuals with a health condition such as cerebral palsy, down syndrome and depression as well as personal and environmental factors including negative attitudes, inaccessible transportation and public buildings, and limited social support.

“People with disability experience poorer health outcomes, have less access to education and work opportunities, and are more likely to live in poverty than those without a disability. Koshish Sahyog has join hands with 14th Global Film Festival Noida 2021 to propagate the vision of the organization and to bring in more kind hearted people to support the cause.
