Noida: The 18th Global Film Festival Noida, hosted at the iconic Marwah Studios, witnessed an intellectually enriching and inspiring moment with the release of two remarkable books authored by Dr. Kumar Prashant Manav from Australia titled “Building a Better Future” and “Book of Life.” The books were formally released by Ranjeet, legendary veteran actor of Indian cinema, Ashwin Kumar, Oscar-nominated director, and Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios, in the presence of a distinguished gathering of artists, filmmakers, and thinkers.

Addressing the audience, Dr. Sandeep Marwah emphasized the importance of literature and thought leadership in shaping a progressive and compassionate society. He stated that books such as these play a vital role in inspiring individuals to reflect deeply on life, values, and the responsibility of contributing positively toward the future, complementing the creative energy of cinema and media.

Author Dr. Kumar Prashant Manav shared insights into his writings, explaining that “Building a Better Future” focuses on vision, ethics, and collective responsibility, while “Book of Life” reflects on human experiences, learning, and inner growth. Noida, India: The rich and exotic flavors of the Republic of the Union of the Comoros were proudly presented at the International Food Festival held during the 18th Global Film Festival Noida (GFFN) 2025 at the iconic Marwah Film City, Noida. The Comoros-themed culinary presentation was specially designed and curated by the AAFT School of Hospitality and Tourism, adding a delicious dimension to the festival’s celebration of global culture.

The Comoros cuisine pavilion was formally inaugurated by Mr. K. L. Ganju, Honorary Consul General of the Republic of the Union of the Comoros, in the distinguished presence of filmmakers, diplomats, students, and international guests attending the festival.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Founder of Noida Film City, President of GFFN, and Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts, emphasized that food is an integral part of cultural identity. He stated that the International Food Festival is designed to promote global harmony by introducing the tastes, traditions, and culinary heritage of different nations to thousands of visitors from India and abroad. New Delhi: The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) successfully held its 105th Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Hotel Taj Mansingh, New Delhi, bringing together eminent leaders from industry, government, and business to discuss India’s economic outlook and growth strategies.

The prestigious event was graced by Shri Piyush Goyal, Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, as the Chief Guest. Dr. Sandeep Marwah Inaugurates National Conference on North East’s Contribution & Potential Towards Viksit Bharat @ 2047New Delhi, 23rd August 2025: The Global Counter Terrorism Council (GCTC) successfully organized a high-profile National Conference on “Contribution & Potential of North East towards Viksit Bharat @ 2047” at the prestigious India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. The conference brought together policymakers, academicians, senior administrators, diplomats, security experts, and thought leaders to deliberate on the pivotal role of India’s North Eastern region in shaping the country’s future vision of a developed nation by 2047 under the leadership of Aditya Tikoo.

Film Federation of India Commits to Promoting Indian Cinema Worldwide

Mumbai: The executive committee of the Film Federation of India, the apex body of the Indian film industry, convened a powerful meeting where they unanimously resolved to intensify efforts towards promoting Indian cinema on a global scale.

Recognizing the need to showcase the strengths of Indian cinema to the world, the committee emphasized the importance of highlighting the vastness of the Indian film industry. “The whole world should know the magnitude of our cinema business, the multitude of films produced, and the diversity of languages represented. It’s crucial to underline that cinema is one of the largest employers of manpower and artists in our country,” stated  Ravi Kottarakara the President of the Federation.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, the Founder of Noida Film City, President of Marwah Studios, Chancellor of AAFT University, and President of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry, offered his extensive network and relationships spanning over 100 countries worldwide.

“We have reached out to three million individuals from 156 countries through film and culture tourism initiatives, with visitors experiencing the offerings of Marwah Studios at Noida Film City. Additionally, we have educated and trained students from 145 countries, and with government support, we have established 74 film and culture forums globally,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah, pledging his support to the Film Federation of India.

The collaboration between the Film Federation of India and Dr. Sandeep Marwah holds promise for further enhancing the international presence and recognition of Indian cinema.

11th Edition of International Documentary Film Festival Honors Outstanding Filmmakers

Distribution of Awards During 11th International Documentary Film Festival

Noida: In a celebration of cinematic excellence, the 11th International Documentary Film Festival (IDFF) took center stage at Marwah Studios in Noida Film City. The festival, inaugurated by esteemed national and international guests, has solidified its position as the second-largest documentary film festival in the country, as highlighted by the festival’s president, Dr. Sandeep Marwah.

Addressing the audience, Dr. Marwah provided insights into the festival’s growth and its emergence as a significant platform for documentary filmmakers. “IDFF has evolved to become a key player in promoting and recognizing outstanding documentary filmmaking in India. The diversity and quality of entries continue to elevate the stature of this festival,” remarked Dr. Marwah.

The highlight of the event was the recognition and felicitation of sixteen exceptional documentary films by Dr. Sandeep Marwah. The award ceremony, meticulously designed, acknowledged the talent and dedication of filmmakers from India and abroad. A special section dedicated to student films received praise from the jury, emphasizing the promising future of documentary filmmaking.

H.E. Capaya R. Gonzalez, the Ambassador of Venezuela to India, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. In her address, she highlighted the importance of documentaries in presenting thorough research and facts, providing a deeper understanding of various subjects.

Renowned filmmaker Anwar Jamal shared his extensive experience in the field of filmmaking, offering valuable insights to the aspiring filmmakers and professionals gathered from across India and beyond. Mike Berry of Universal Studios commended the efforts of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) and AAFT for organizing such a compelling documentary festival.

Documentary filmmaker Archa Sharma emphasized the crucial role that subject selection plays in the success of documentaries, encouraging filmmakers to explore diverse and impactful topics. New Delhi – The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) joined forces with the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), under the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Government of India, to host a momentous seminar focusing on “Standards in Media and Entertainment” at the prestigious Bureau of Indian Standards Head Office in New Delhi on Thursday, 27th July.

The seminar aimed to address the paramount significance of standardized practices within the diverse realms of the Indian Media and Entertainment Industry. Distinguished personalities and leaders from various segments of the industry including print media, radio, television, new media, events, music, and media education participated, underscoring the necessity to establish and adhere to comprehensive standards in the fast-evolving landscape of media and entertainment.

New Delhi: We are feeling proud and charged with new energy as India is the President country for G 20 for the year 2023 and honorable Prime Minister of India will be the Chair for G 20. We have already joined hands with many countries which are part of G 20 to develop and promote relations through art and culture,” said Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI and Chancellor of AAFT University.

A poster was launched at the Global office of International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry by the dignities of different organization to show their support to ICMEI activities. The theme of India’s G20 Presidency is Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam- One Earth One Family One Future.

Present on the occasion Trade Commissioner for Republic of Cuba Dr. Murthy Deverabhuta, and Trade Commissioner of Namibia Tasneem Shariff, Motivational Speaker Dr. Rhyma Srinivas, Classical Dancer Dr. D.V. Ramana appreciated the efforts of ICMEI.

The members of the G-20 are: Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, South Korea, Turkey, the U.K. and the U.S., as well as the European Union, represented by the rotating council presidency and the European Central Bank. Powerful Meeting of International Diplomatic Club at New Delhi to Set Agenda

New Delhi: “Thank you for the wonderful celebration of my Birthday. It was a great gesture on your part. I am really touched by the emotions extended towards me,” said Sandeep Marwah thanking all the members of International Diplomatic Club at a meeting in India International Centre to design the agenda for the activities under the club for the year 2023.

“We all must work towards a single aim of bringing love, peace and unity through art and culture. This is the fastest way to promote relations between the   people of different states in India and countries of the World,” added Sandeep Marwah in the capacity of Global Patron of International Diplomatic Club.

We are happy to announce that after Moscow, Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai and now Dubai voluntary chapters of IDC are already started working. All the presidents are active and dynamic.

During the meeting Ambassador Deepak Vohra was nominated as Honorary Patron of the Hyderabad Chapter. The meeting was attended by large number of people including Ambassador Dr. V.B. th November every year.

The day is celebrated to commemorate a free and responsible press. It was on this day that the Press Council of India started functioning as a moral watchdog to ensure that the press maintains high standards and is not fettered by any influence or threats.

“Let us celebrate the occasion of National Press Day by thanking all the press professionals for doing their job and serving us with the latest happenings around the world. Indo Cambodia Culture Forum Will Promote Tourism of Cambodia

New Delhi: “It was a pleasant meeting with H.E. Ung Sean Ambassador of Cambodia to India at the Embassy of Cambodia New Delhi when I was invited by the Ambassador to discuss the new activities of Indo Cambodia Film and Cultural Forum,” said Sandeep Marwah President of International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry and Chair for Indo Cambodia Film and Cultural Forum.

“It was decided to have a road show highlighting Cambodia as   the tourist destination for Indians and propagating film locations of the Kingdom of Cambodia for the film makers of Indian Film Industry,” added Marwah also President of Marwah Studios.

“We are ready to cooperate our best and shall pass on our films on tourism to make event more colorful. Our country The Kingdom of Cambodia is the country with the largest religious monument in the world, delectable cuisine, rich culture, and vast history,” said H.E. Ung Sean Ambassador of Cambodia to India.

The popular AAFT School of Hospitality and Tourism will design the program in association with ICMEI and will invite people from film and tourism fraternity. A date will be announced in a short period of time.

Seminar on The Effect of OTT Platform on Reading  Habits at 8th GLFN

Noida: “8 years back we started Global Literary Festival Noida, idea is to motivate people to inculcate the habit of reading in their day to day life. A good reading

leads to good writing and good writing leads to good speaking,” said Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University and  President of GLFN during the seminar on the second day of 8th Global Literary Festival Noida 2022.

Initiating the topic, Marwah said, ”From five to fifty five OTT Channels shows the increase in the viewership of new programs and demand for new subjects and ample writing works. Reading has been changed to listening now days,”

Ambassador of Venezuela, H.E Coromoto Godoy Calderon, shared that in her country, youngsters really like to read books and enjoy writing. She said that their President has helped establish public libraries and even giving out books for free to the public to encourage reading and writing. She said that Venezuela supports and encourages people to read, write and be creative. Her Excellency gifted the books she brought from Venezuela to the library of AAFT.

Every medium has its own importance be it a radio, television, cinema or digital. But Books are much more authentic than even google,” said renowned Ad Guru and author  Bharat Dabholkar from Mumbai. Author and Journalist Rajesh Badal said  “The lessons in books as well as the lessons of life both contribute to teaching.” Dr. Lavlin Thadani, a filmmaker and an author elaborated that books lead to enrichment of emotions, sharpening of sensitivity and enhancing the finer feelings of romance. She said selling books can’t be a rat race of money, why can’t it be only love for reading?”.

Former Ambassador of India to Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay, Dr. Amarendra Khatua, shared some key points with the delegates to be successful writers. “Reading books is an intellectual activity and anything in the audio-visual medium, especially films, are seen as a distraction. Books can change your lives and so can the movies, they can inspire and be life changing for a lot of people,” said young author Karmanya Thadani.

A book with the title “Bahke Kadam” written by S.S. Sharma was released by the  dignitaries. A poster highlighting the veteran writer and social reformer Deendayal Upadhyay was released by  the guests to mark respect to the contribution of the legend in the field of writing. Ermia Raescu, an educationist from Romania,  Global Chairman of MSMECCI  Indrajit Ghosh also spoke on the occasion.

Seminar on The Future and Prospects of Digital Reading at 8th GLFN

Noida: The second day of the 8th Global Literary Festival, Noida 2022 began with a seminar on “The Future & Prospects of Digital Reading”. Addressing the gathering, Festival President, Dr. Sandeep Marwah said that the journey of Global Literary Festival Noida has been incredible, bringing so many renowned authors, poets, publishers under one roof to inspire and motivate the budding writers. Sharing the idea behind the festival, he stated that it was initiated with only one objective and that is “Entertainment with Growth.”

Writer Mr. Varun Wadhwa said that one should have a motive behind writing as his aim was to be remembered by the people through his books.  He laid stress on the fact that “nobody else can inspire us but our own self, so it necessary to have faith in your own wings”.

Writer Mr. Nitish Bhushan discussed  different eras of transferring knowledge, “Shruti and Smriti which means listening and remembering, Lekhan & Pathan which means writing reading and discussed evolution of the printing press.

During the session, Author Dr. Shalini Narayanan inspired the audience stating that“writing requires a lot of hard work and commitment. Writing a book must be considered as  contribution to Society.  In this age of digital era,  it has become  important to write short stories as the audience is short of time and always in a hurry to grasp maximum information in minimum time.”

Commander V K Jaitely, Former president of IIT Kharagpur and author of the book “We Can, We Can”, conveyed that both e-books and physical books are a medium of sharing knowledge and views. His endless love for books compelled him to come up with the idea of opening a free library in his society.

An Exhibition of Still Photography Inaugurated at 8th Global Literary Festival

Noida: On the occasion of 8th Global Literary Festival Noida 2022- A photography exhibition was put up by the students of AAFT School of Still Photography depicting and highlighting different aspects of life in coloured and black & white pictures.

The exhibition was  inaugurated by HE Moe Kyaw Aung Ambassador of Myanmar to India, Gen. J. J. Singh Former Governor of Arunachal Pradesh and Author, Prem Janmejai Veteran Author,  Acharya Lokesh Muni Founder President of Ahimsa Vishva Bharti, Dr. Heera Lal IAS Additional Mission Director-National Health Mission and Ermia Raaescu Educationist from Romania. The dignities were surprised by the the quality of work presented in the exhibition. Everyone expressed their views on the large number of photographs displayed for three days at the festival.

Aum Nam Suk President of South Korea-India Cultural Society , Dr. Gopal Ji of Global Yog Alliance and  Arti Makkar Bandlish renowned artist were the special guest. The exhibition was well attended by all the delegates of the literature festival from all over India.

“In photography there is a reality so subtle that it becomes more real than reality. Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever and It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah appreciating the hard work of students.

President of South Korea-India Cultural Society Aum Nam Suk, said that “You never take a photograph, you make it.” Associate Dean, School of Still Photography,  Tanushri Srivastava, said that the students tried to portray the photographs that depicts some sort of stories and have deep meanings behind the frame.

The various themes include “Abnormality is Beautiful” by Jai Khatwani (BA III Photography), “Yamuna Floods 2022” by Abhay Pratap (Diploma Student), “5 Elements” by Kapil Parmuval (BA III Photography). Three awarded photographs were exhibited by Atul Yadav – a student of photography department.

The visitors appreciated the collection and conveyed their love towards the collections. Exhibition was supported by Asian Academy of Arts, International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry and World Peace Development and Research Foundation.

Noida: Paintings are a form of visual art that captures the expression of ideas and emotions on a two-dimensional surface. Artists use the elements of shape, colors, line, tones, and textures in unique ways to produce paintings that convey sensations of movement, volume, space, and light – traditionally on a flat surface,” expressed Sandeep Marwah at the inauguration of Painting exhibition at 8th Global Literary Festival Noida 2022.

Seminar on The New Trends in Fiction Writing at 8th Global Literary Festival Noida

Seminar During 8th Global Literary Festival Noida 2022

Noida: “We have emerged as the second biggest Literary Festival in the country. Large number of events during the festival have attracted writers from all over India and abroad. Every session is a brain storming session, full of knowledge, information and entertainment,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of the festival introducing the speakers of first seminar of the first day of 8th Global Literary Festival Noida 2022 at Marwah Film City Noida.

The session began with the traditional lamp lighting ceremony by the dignities followed by   the launching of a book “SACH”, written by Dhruvan Ladha, a final year student of Journalism and Mass Communication at AAFT.

Renowned author Dr. Rama Singh, enlightened the students with the new trends in fiction writing. She shared how quality literature awakes the slumbering soul and how stories have always been a part of mankind. She laid stress on the word “Kahani” which is derived from the word “Kehna” and that is what fiction writing is all about. She also said a story is made up of three parts “Anubhav, Anubhuti and Abhivyakti”.

On this occasion, Chancellor of AAFT University and Festival President, Dr. Sandeep Marwah shared a few mantras for the budding writers asking them to work hard and create any piece of writing with in-depth research and passion to be successful in this field. He encouraged the students to read good writers and prioritise the audience for whom they want to write.

Ravindra Kant Tyagi, a renowned author, acknowledged the audience with the contrast between the current and the literature of the earlier times through satire where he talked about writers like Vishnu Prabhakar and Chetan Bhagat. Author Avinash Phushkarana enlightened the audience with the expression of art. He also said that a beautiful presentation of an emotion knits a story and with a responsible pen, it can create wonders.

During the session, the festival director Mr Sushil Bharti briefed the audience about the fest and how it sculpts several writers every year. He also talked about the vision to bring together diverse writers, poets and artists on a single platform to inspire budding writers through this festival.

New Delhi: The management committee of Asian Unity Alliance is feeling honored to be associated with 8th Global Literary Festival Noida 2022, the biggest literary festival of this side of the World, to promote Love Peace and Unity Through Art and Culture.
