AAFT School of Animation Launches Four New Creative Studios at Marwah Studios, Noida Film City

Noida: In a major boost to animation education and creative production, the AAFT School of Animation proudly launched four state-of-the-art in-house studios—Aurafx Studio, Inkflow 2D Studios, Nexus AI Studio, and Epic Frame Studio—at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida, in active collaboration with the students of AAFT. The launch marks a significant milestone in strengthening industry-oriented learning and real-time production exposure for young animators.

Speaking at the inauguration, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Founder of Noida Film City, President of Marwah Studios, and Chancellor of AAFT University, emphasized that the future of animation lies in innovation, technology integration, and strong storytelling. He stated that these new studios are designed to function as live production hubs, enabling students to work on professional projects while still pursuing their education. “AAFT believes in learning by doing, and these studios will empower students to transform creativity into global content,” he added.

Ashish Garg, Dean, AAFT School of Animation, highlighted that each studio has been conceptualized with a focused vision—Aurafx Studio for advanced visual effects, Inkflow 2D Studios for classical and contemporary 2D animation, Nexus AI Studio for AI-driven animation and emerging technologies, and Epic Frame Studio for cinematic storytelling and high-end animation productions. He further stated that the initiative bridges the gap between academics and industry, preparing students for international careers in animation and digital media.

A special highlight of the event was the recognition of student creators who successfully produced the first lot of animated films under these newly launched studios. Certificates of achievement were presented to all participating students, acknowledging their creativity, teamwork, and production excellence.

It was also announced that these student-produced films will soon enter the festival circuit, showcasing AAFT’s creative talent on national and international platforms and reinforcing the institution’s growing global presence in animation and digital storytelling.

The launch of Aurafx, Inkflow 2D, Nexus AI, and Epic Frame Studios stands as a bold and visionary step by AAFT School of Animation, reaffirming Marwah Studios as a dynamic center for innovation, education, and production—where students evolve into professionals and ideas transform into impactful animated content.

Delegation of Motion Picture Association Visits Marwah Studios at Noida Film City

Noida: A distinguished delegation from the Motion Picture Association (MPA), Delhi, led by its President Sakshi Mehra, paid a visit to Marwah Studios at the iconic Noida Film City. The purpose of the visit was to gain insights into the operational excellence and organizational structure of the world-renowned Noida Film City and its associated creative institutions.

The delegation expressed amazement at the impressive achievements of Dr. Sandeep Marwah, the visionary founder of Noida Film City, Marwah Studios, and AAFT University. Dr. Marwah’s relentless dedication to fostering creativity and innovation has resulted in the establishment of over 100 creative organizations, which have collectively contributed to the growth of India’s film, media, and entertainment sectors.

IMPPA President Abhay Sinha Visits Marwah Studios

Noida – The President of the Indian Motion Pictures Producers’ Association (IMPPA), Abhay Sinha, recently visited the renowned Marwah Studios, the founders of Noida Film City and AAFT University of Media and Arts. During his visit, he met with Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Chancellor of AAFT University and President of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), who is an internationally acclaimed media personality.

The meeting between the two leaders was highly productive, focusing on ways to enhance the value and activities of the film, television, and media industries in India. They also discussed strengthening the relationship between the Indian media industry and its foreign counterparts. Dr Sandeep Marwah briefed Abhay Sinha with the activities and organizations of Marwah Studios in detail.

In recognition of Abhay Sinha’s deep involvement and contributions to the film industry, Dr. Sandeep Marwah presented him with the life membership of the International Film and Television Club of Marwah Studios.

“1937 was the year that saw the fulfillment of a beautiful dream for the Indian Film Industry. This was the year when IMPPA was born,” said Abhay Sinha. “The Indian Motion Picture Producers’ Association, popularly known as IMPPA, is the first and only internationally recognized oldest association of the Indian film production sector. It is the original mother organization, and all other associations which exist now are the offshoots of IMPPA.”

Abhay Sinha’s visit to Marwah Studios marks a significant step towards further collaboration and growth within the film and media sectors, both domestically and internationally.

Film Federation of India Commits to Promoting Indian Cinema Worldwide

Mumbai: The executive committee of the Film Federation of India, the apex body of the Indian film industry, convened a powerful meeting where they unanimously resolved to intensify efforts towards promoting Indian cinema on a global scale.

Recognizing the need to showcase the strengths of Indian cinema to the world, the committee emphasized the importance of highlighting the vastness of the Indian film industry. “The whole world should know the magnitude of our cinema business, the multitude of films produced, and the diversity of languages represented. It’s crucial to underline that cinema is one of the largest employers of manpower and artists in our country,” stated  Ravi Kottarakara the President of the Federation.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, the Founder of Noida Film City, President of Marwah Studios, Chancellor of AAFT University, and President of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry, offered his extensive network and relationships spanning over 100 countries worldwide.

“We have reached out to three million individuals from 156 countries through film and culture tourism initiatives, with visitors experiencing the offerings of Marwah Studios at Noida Film City. Additionally, we have educated and trained students from 145 countries, and with government support, we have established 74 film and culture forums globally,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah, pledging his support to the Film Federation of India.

The collaboration between the Film Federation of India and Dr. Sandeep Marwah holds promise for further enhancing the international presence and recognition of Indian cinema.

5th Hindi Cinema Samman Samaroh at 14th Global Film Festival Noida

Noida: The highest and the most prestigious award of Hindi Cinema this time was presented to film Producer T.P.Agarwal the designated President of Film Federation of India and President of Indian Motion Picture Producers Association for fifteen years for his untiring services to Indian Film Industry by internationally renowned media personality Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chairman Hindi Cinema Samman Samiti at the fifth edition in a  grand event of 14th Global Film Festival Noida 2021.

Hindi Cinema Bhushan was presented to Padam Shri Anoop Jalota also known as Bhajan Samrat for his long attachment to Indian Film Industry through music. Hindi Cinema Gaurav was presented to known actors like Deepak Tijori, Music Director Hriju Roy, Secretary CINTA & Actor Amit Behal, Actor Rajesh Khattar, Vicki Ranawat, Producer Anjum Rizvi and renowned actor Daizy Shah.

Hindi Cinema Sevi for the promotion of Hindi Cinema was presented to H.E. Lineo Irene Molise Mabusela High Commissioner of Lesotho, H.E. Dilshod Akhatov Ambassador of Uzbekistan, H.E. Carlos Polo Ambassador of Peru, H.E. Muhammed Maliki Ambassador of Morocco, H.E. Juan Angulo Ambassador of Chile, H.E. Kamlesh Shashi Prakash High Commissioner of Fiji, Ambassador Sinisa Pavic Charge d’ Affaires Embassy of Serbia, Roman Masaric Charge d’ Affaires of Embassy of the Czech Republic and producer Director Rajeev Chaudhury.

“We never wanted to shift the program to new date. Though things were quite uncertain because of pandemic, we are lucky that the whole event went above the expectations of people.  The 14th Global Film Festival Noida 2021 saw the footfall of 17000 people with different kinds of events including 9 workshops, 7 exhibitions, foreign films, Indian Films, Director’s Retrospective, films on disability, AAFT Films, ASMS Films, Competition segment and Films on Children.

Special events were organized by forums to respect Mahatma Gandhi, Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru and Shakespeare on three different days of festival. World Computer Literacy Day, Day for Persons with Disability & Navy Day were also observed during the Global Film Festival. National days of Laos and United Arab Emirates were also celebrated.

Regular three days AAFT School of Mass Communication was releasing the newsletter for the festival. Book on Sandeep Marwah was also released on the opening day. The music band of AAFT School of Performing Art was a big entertainer on the first day, followed by Fashion show by AAFT School of Fashion and Design and then the most powerful Hindi Cinema Samman Samaroh was held on the final day.

Sandeep Marwah Invited by Governor of Maharashtra

New Delhi: The renowned educationalist and media person Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI- International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry was invited by H.E. Bhagat Singh Koshyari the Governor of Maharashtra on his visit to Delhi at Maharashtra Sadan.

.Dr. Sandeep Marwah, founder of Noida Film City briefed the Governor about his Marwah Studios & seven World Records created in Media & education. He requested the Governor to visit the city at his convenience.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah now Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts has trained more than 19000 students from 145 countries of the World, he is also the producer of largest number of short films. Dr. Marwah has given ten major international festivals to the nation. His untiring contribution to the media and entertainment industry has brought him an international success and recognition.

“I am happy to note the good work you are putting into society and the way you are uplifting the downtrodden is commendable,” said H.E. Bhagat Singh Koshyari Governor of Maharashtra congratulating Dr. Marwah for his deep involvement and passion for the industry, art and culture.

Renowned film producer & businessman Anil Jain and Director International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry Rajiv Mathur were also part of the delegation. Sandeep Marwah Presented Life Membership of World Peace Development and Research Foundation to the Governor.

New Delhi: The International Tourism Conclave & Travel Awards (ITCTA) has bestowed AAFT- Asian Academy of Film And Television with the special award for Promoting Education in Cinematic Tourism at the VIIth ITCTA award ceremony at Le Meridien in New Delhi.

AAFT -Asian Academy of Film and Television has been in film and Television education for twenty Eight Years and so far has trained 19000 students hailing from 145 countries of the World.

AAFT and its associates like International Film and Television Club, Asian Academy of Arts and International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industries have been able to attract more than three million people from almost 150 countries of the World.

“I am thankful to the organisers for honouring us. Thirty years back we gave one word to English dictionary of “Film Tourism”, probably not many people could understand the meaning and purpose, today the whole World is talking about Film Tourism. We are happy that AAFT School of Hospitality and Tourism is also doing well,” expressed Dr Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and AAFT.

Sandeep Marwah Honoured by World Book of Records London

Dubai: Renowned media person Sandeep Marwah president of Marwah Studios and founder of Noida Film City gets included in the World Book of Records London for being founder of Noida Film City-the fastest growing film city in the World.

“It was in  December 1986 I submitted the project to UP Government. December 1987 the film city got its clearance from the state capital Lucknow  and !988 allotments were made. Government gave us three years’ time to build up the infra structure and to come into production. We were originally six, then twelve and            now total sixteen players in film city,” recollected Sandeep Marwah while narrating the story of making of Film City in North India.

“We have gone through tough times. There was no culture of cinema and film production. It has been thirty years  we are managing the film city with our own resources and efforts. Today we have created a World Record,” added Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and founder of Noida Film City.

Now Noida Film City is the fastest growing film city in the World. 100 acre complex 75 outdoors and 25 indoors. There are 16 players  and 350 channels are being broadcast from these studios to 162 countries 24 by 7. Around 17000 media professionals are working   from here in 3 shifts of eight hours each- is the World Record now. The cascading effect is that around hundred thousand people are earning their bread because of film city.

The Record certificate  was presented  to Sandeep Marwah on his official visit to Dubai by Dr. Jitendra Matlani  Vice President World Book of Records in a function at Hotel Oberoi at Business Bay Dubai UAE. Dr Sandeep Marwah was congratulated by Shri Santosh Shukla, Supreme court Advocate (President & CEO World Book of Records) and many dignities present there.

World Book of Records is one of the leading organizations in international certification. Its primary objective and goal is to Records, Honour, Listing and appreciate, authenticate and adjudicate events which can be termed as activities of world standard. Since its inception in the year 2017 it has spread its wings and it is working with global presence in Europe, North America, South America, Africa, Asia and Australia.

Noida: “Noida Film City has brought revolution in the trade of films, television and media. It is one of the fastest growing film city of the World. I must say   that now Noida is on the World Map of Cinema. The credit goes to the founder Dr. Sandeep Marwah who has been recognized by the World Media many times,” said Amit Jani social worker and a youth leader while presenting award to Dr. Sandeep Marwah at Surya Channel in a grand function.

Noida Film City originally planned for 100 acres out of which 75 acres outdoor and 25 acres indoor. There are 16 studios and 350 channels are being broadcast to 162 countries for 24 hours around the7 days of week. The film city is only of its kind in the World.

Approximately 17000 media professionals are working in this city and cascading effects is that around 100000 people are earning their bread because of this film city and its activities.

The film city is now source of inspiration for many states of the country of India and also abroad for many countries to start another film city in their territories.

“I ask respective authorities to honor Sandeep Marwah with the highest civilian award for creating history in the field of creative arts,” added Amit Jani.

Noida: AAFT School of Performing Arts organized a full day of Western Music prepared and showcased by the students at Marwah Studios Film City Noida.

“Music is love, and music is a spiritual activity. It is necessary for the student of art to know more about other arts. The respect for other arts makes you a real artist. If we love Indian music we also like western music,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of AAFT University.

“I am pleased to be here in this creative environment. The level of music presentation is no less than any professional singers and musicians. I would love to be back again,” said Dr. Chinni Krishnan Rajkumar a business tycoon from Cheenai.

“I appreciate these kind of programs, they bring lots of energy to the campus and   unity between the students. These programs are part of our long lasting memories,” added Sukesh Anand popular actor from Mumbai.

All the students of AAFT School of Performing Arts were enthusiastic about the affair. Director Dr. Manoj Agarwal conducted the program.

8th Global Festival of Journalism Inaugurated at Marwah Studios

Noida: The most exclusive festival, first of its kind in Asia and second in the World saw the grand opening of its 8th edition at Noida Film City hosted by    Marwah Studios.

The colorful flags of different nations were quite inviting and speaking about the international presence at the festival. In total 56 countries have been part of this festival where as delegates from all the 28 states and 9 union territories were present in the festival.

“ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry-and International Journalism Centre together have designed this festival to mark respect to the decision of having International Day of Journalism on 12th February which was declared nine years back by our association,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Global Festival of Journalism.

Media creates perception, time has come when all mediums of media keep in mind the unity and integrity of the nation should not be at stake when they write or speak and show any coverage. Country is definitely bigger than profession,” said Tirath Singh Rawat Member Parliament Lok Sabha and Secretary BJP.

“I appreciate the bye line   given to this festival-Love Peace And Unity Through Art And Culture. Positive journalism can bring new ife to the relations,” said H.E. Dr. Marjan Cencen, Ambassador of Slovenia to India.

“Do your research well before you write a piece for press. Your deep research can bring correct information to the reader. People still believe blindly   what all has been printed or shown on television.  You have a great responsibility towards reader and viewer,” said H.E. Radu Octavian Dobre, one time journalist and now Ambassador of Romania to India.

“A media person must aware of his duties and responsibilities. More than that he should also be attentive towards media laws. His coverage can provoke and can depress the masses. A balanced and researched news or article for any medium is always useful,” said H.E. Mr. Michael Aaron N. N. Oquaye,  lawyer and High Commissioner Republic of Ghana to India.

“What a unique festival, never ever heard like this in any other country. Journalist should remember that mediums are for three major reasons Information, Education and Entertainment as per Press council of India. Noida: AAFT School of Performing Arts planned a  Mehfil E Ghazal an evening of Ghazals dedicated to the king of Ghazals popular singer Late Jagjit Singh on his birth Anniversary at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida.

“Music makes you a real human being as it provokes emotions with in. Music is spiritual it has the power to bring people together. Music is a moral law. It gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and charm and gaiety to life and to everything,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President AAFT School of Performing Arts at the inauguration of Mehfil E Ghazal designed by the students of performing arts.

Suman -The Oscar Women of Carevanta Foundation, Mavayna Manav Brand Ambassador of Carevanta Foundation and Inderjeet Ghosh Chairman MSME Chamber of Commerce of India  also spoke at the Ghazal evening.

The mesmerizing performance of students won the heart of the audience who all sang the popular numbers earlier recorded by Jagjit Singh.

Noida “We are actually creating a new World Record in film and television education as there is no film school which has so far launched 106th batch of trainees, we have done it today. These students are witness to  the history,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of AAFT-Asian Academy of Film And Television on the inauguration of 106th batch at Marwah Studios, film city Noida.

Krishan Guptaa Managing Director of Organic Wellness Private Limited, Tedex Speaker and writer of book ‘Clear Your Bottle Necks’ shared his  part of story and motivated the students to work hard and keep learning in the capacity of Chief Guest of the day.

“I have seen best of the film and television schools of the country but no one teaches you better than AAFT. It has the best infrastructure and facilities to make you a better media person,” said Joy Shree Arora former Dean AAFT and renowned film and TV actress.

Noida: We have created a World Record of not only producing   short films but also of show casing through AAFT Festival of Short Digital Films. I extend my heartiest congratulations to every one connected to Marwah Films And Video Productions & International Film And Television Club of Marwah Studios,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios at the inauguration of 104th AAFT Festival at Noida Film City.

Eleven films were awarded as different, experimental, innovative, touching, Social message, documentary etc. Sudhir Tondon former Director Doordarshan and founder Lok Sabha Television honored the directors of the films for their hard work.

Vaishali Valecha was honored for her short film DUAL DOMINATION, Pawan Kumar for DARD, Kushagra Nagpal for ILLEGAL, Harendra Pratap for EHSAAS, Anshuman Mishra for BLACK MAIL, Kushgara Nagpal again for APKA BETA SAQIB, Himanshu Kohli for IK MULAQAAT, Aman Kumar for JAIDAAT, Sanchit Tiwari for EK ADHURI MULAQAAT, Prabhat Kumar for SHIKSHA and Marina Zaffari honored for her documentary SALAAM NAMASTE- KABUL JAAN. All the films were screened during festival and appreciated by the audience.

Sudhir Tondon congratulated the institution in taking so much of pain in educating, training, filmmaking and screening of these students’ films in the festival. Aamir Abdullah Director School of Cinema conducted the program and Yogesh Mishra Dean paid vote of thanks.

Sandeep Marwah Honored by Ashwani Kumar Choubey at WASME


Noida: Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Chancellor of AAFT University was honored by Ashwani Kumar Choubey State Minister of Health and Family Planning, Government of India in a grand function organized by WASME- World Association of Small and Medium Enterprises at Noida Film City.

Sandeep Marwah is the founder of Noida Film City and had designed this city way back in 1986, got its clearance from Lucknow in 1987, allotments were made in 1988, studios were in functioning condition in 1991 and since then no looking back.

“Noida Film City is the fastest growing film city in the World today with 16 studios in 25 acres, 350 channels are being broadcast to 162 countries 24x7, 17000 media professionals are working here in 3 shifts of 8 hours each and cascading effect is that around 100,000 people earning their bread directly and indirectly from the film city and credit goes to Sandeep Marwah,” citation was read by Dr. Sanjeev Layek Executive Secretary of WASME.

“I am thankful to WASME for considering me for this award. Also to the state Government and Central Government for cooperating to their best in fulfilling my dream and vision into reality,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah while accepting the award.

Grand Opening of 5th Global Literary Festival Noida


Noida: International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry in association with Asian Academy of Arts and AAFT University welcomed the participation of more than 50 countries of the World to the grand opening of 5th Global Literary Festival Noida 2019 at Noida Film City.

“We are once again here with something new and different. Our job is to create a wonderful creative environment where we can talk about love, peace and unity through art and culture. I welcome you all to this grand international show of literature,” announced Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of 5th GLFN at the inauguration.

“The energy of this campus is infectious, every time I carry back new ideas from Marwah Studios and want to add to the promotion of Indo Vietnam Relations. Literature is not workaday for me but something, which involves desire, dreams and fantasy. I congratulate India for such a magnificent show of literature,” said H.E. Pham Sanh Chau, Ambassador of Vietnam to India.

“India and Peru are old friends and some where I find similarities in our thinking and action. I am impressed by the size and the quality of events added into this marvelous show. Literature is one of the most interesting and significant expressions of humanity. I hope people will take full advantage of this literary festival,” said H.E. Carlos Polo, Ambassador of Peru to India

“Every time I come here I find new, different and creative environment. For the creation of masterwork of literature two powers must concur, the power of man and power of moment and the man is not enough without the moment added r H.E. Cdr. K.L. Ganju, Honorary Consul General of Comoros.

“Every man’s memory is his private literature. These kind of festivals provoke you to publish your stories and add to the readable literature. I am lucky to share through feature films. Power to write is essential to be a writer,” said Kamlesh Pandey known for his feature films like Rand De Basanti, Tezab, Chal Baaz, Dil, Khalnayak and many more.

Renowned writers Lily Swarn from Chandigarh impressed everyone with her poetry. Later Dr. Sandeep Marwah honored and presented all the dignities with the certificate of participation and memento in the presence of large number of writers, poets, media persons and young enthusiastic literature lovers from India and abroad. The Festival Director Sushil Bharti paid vote of thanks.

Noida: “You have to be honest to your profession, there is no alternate to hard work and strong determination is key to success,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios while addressing the professionals at a workshop arranged by Ministry of Skill Development And Entrepreneur at Noida.

Talking about his journey from the inception of Noida Film City to the Chair of 100 hundred film, TV, Media, Art  & Culture and Social organizations, Dr. Sandeep Marwah narrated his ups and downs and vast experience to the young enthusiastic audience gathered for brain storming session.

The workshop was organized to motivate and give new ideas to all those who are keen in getting into new businesses under government Startup India program.

Later DR. Marwah was honored with shawl and memento for his vast contribution to the growth of media and entertainment industry of India.

World Health Day Celebrated at AAFT


World Health Day Celebrated at AAFT

Noida: “Healthy citizen means Healthy Nation. Universal health coverage is WHO’s number one goal. Key to achieving it is ensuring that everyone can obtain the care they need, when they need it, right in the heart of the community,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios while talking to the media persons on the occasion of World Health Day at Noida Film City.

“Progress is being made in countries in all regions of the world. But millions of people still have no access at all to health care. Millions more are forced to choose between health care and other daily expenses such as food, clothing and even a home,” added Dr. Marwah who is also Ambassador of International Human Rights Organization affiliated to United Nations and Patron to IFUNA- Indian Federation of United Nations Associations.  

This is why WHO is focusing on universal health coverage for this year’s World Health Day, on 7 April. Sandeep Marwah launched a poster to high light the health issues in India.
