AAFT & ICMEI Commemorate Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan at Marwah Studios

Noida: The Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Forum, in association with International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), organized a solemn and inspiring program at AAFT, Marwah Studios, Film City Noida, to remember and honor Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan—the eminent Indian academic, philosopher, and statesman who served as the Vice President of India from 1952 to 1962 and as the President of India from 1962 to 1967.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Chair of the Forum, highlighted the immense contribution of Dr. Radhakrishnan to education and nation-building. He stated that Dr. Radhakrishnan’s life remains a guiding light for educators, intellectuals, and youth across the country, inspiring generations to uphold the values of knowledge, integrity, and service.

Vinayak Nath, Startup Policy Leader & representative of Bharat Startup and Innovation Society, spoke about the relevance of Dr. Radhakrishnan’s philosophy in today’s innovation-driven era. He emphasized that strong educational foundations and ethical leadership are essential for fostering a vibrant startup ecosystem in India.

Aparna Mishra, a noted social worker from Lucknow, shared her thoughts on the social impact of education and underlined how Dr. Radhakrishnan’s vision continues to influence community development and social harmony. She called upon the youth to embrace education not only as a means of personal growth but also as a tool for societal transformation.

Noida: : In a historic visit to Marwah Studios at Noida Film City, Dr. L. Murugan, Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, inaugurated the new Suraj Parkash Marwah Shooting Floor, named in honor of Dr. Sandeep Marwah’s father. This momentous occasion added a new chapter to the legacy of Marwah Studios, an integral part of India’s media landscape.

The Minister’s visit was marked by an in-depth tour of the Marwah Studios campus, where he personally examined the wide array of facilities and departments, including production studios, post-production units, the Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, and Comics (AVGC) division, Artificial Intelligence (AI) units, the expansive library, amphitheater, screening theaters, fine arts departments and education & training facilities. His keen interest in the infrastructure and its contribution to the Indian media industry was evident throughout the visit.

Noida: The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), in collaboration with the AAFT School of PR Events and Advertising, and Bhagat Singh Forum commemorated the birth anniversary of one of India’s greatest freedom fighters, Shaheed Bhagat Singh, on September 28th. The celebration was held at Marwah Studios in Noida, with students, faculty, and distinguished guests participating in the event.

To mark the occasion, a special poster honoring the life and sacrifices of Bhagat Singh was unveiled. Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of ICMEI and Chancellor of AAFT University, led the celebrations with a heartfelt tribute to the revolutionary leader.

 Dr. Marwah spoke about the indomitable spirit of Bhagat Singh and his profound impact on India’s fight for independence. “Bhagat Singh’s courage, conviction, and dedication to the cause of freedom continue to inspire generations. Noida: “There was a need to create awareness about the Republic of Palau in India. We have been thinking and were looking for the appropriate platform to do so, there cannot be better proposal than launching of Indo Palau Film and Cultural Forum at International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry,” said Naresh A Sharma   Honorary Consul General of Palau in India.

A poster was launched to mark the launching of the forum from the dice of   Asian Academy of Film and Television during the convocation of 2021 batch. “it is a proud moment for all of us and a historical day when Indo Palau are joining hands though the formation of Film and Cultural Forum. I am thankful to Naresh Sharma for trusting us and giving us this wonderful opportunity to prove our caliber and capacity,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI and Marwah Studios.

A certificate of Patronship was presented to Naresh A Sharma by Dr. Sandeep Marwah in the presence of large audience whereas Naresh Sharma also nominated Sandeep Marwah as the Chair for Indo Palau Film and Cultural Forum. A copy of MOU shall be signed in the later date.

National Safety Day Observed at AAFT

AAFT Observed National Safety Day

Noida: Observed every year on March 4, the National Safety Day was started by the National Safety Council to increase the awareness of all the guidelines of safety measures, including road safety, workplace safety, the safety of human health, as well as the environment.

“A little precaution can save you from a large disaster. A little time spent in making yourself more equipped with knowledge about the safety of every thing can  save you from losses of million rupees, health and life. Please make it a habit to go through the instruction manual of every thing you use which seems to be new to you,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University and President of CEGR-Centre for Growth and Research at an event to celebrate  National Safety Day at Marwah Studios.

This visit has strengthened the relation between High Commission of Gambia in India and ICMEI. You can see for yourself how we are organized,” Dr. Sandeep Marwah welcomed H.E. Mustapha Jawara High Commissioner of Gambia to India to Marwah Studios.

H.E. Mustapha Jawara High Commissioner of Gambia to India took a full round of all the facilities at Marwah Studios. He met the staff and faculty of AAFT, students of Asian Academy of Film and Television, saw the shooting going on different shooting floors including commercial productions and student’s productions, inspected the postproduction department which was also working in full swing.

The two important mediums of ICMEI Radio Noida 107.4FM & MSTV interviewed H.E. Mustapha Jawara, the Patron of Indo Gambia Film and Cultural Forum. Many new points were generated while discussing the programs for the coming months.

The deputy Head of the Mission Lamin Singhhateh Embassy of Gambia also appreciated the facilities at ICMEI and thanked for the well-designed tour for the Gambian Delegation. The meeting was attended by Buba Kinnteh Finance Attache of Gambia

H.E. Dr. Roger Gopaul High Commissioner of Trinidad and Tobago congratulated the organisers and thanked for the inviting Trinidad and Tobago as partners of the   event. He emphasised on the reading habits and supporting publishing of books.

World Bicycle Day Celebrated at AAFT-Marwah Studios

New Delhi: “World Bicycle Day draws attention to the benefits of using the bicycle — a simple, affordable, clean and environmentally fit sustainable means of transportation. cycling is also a pathway for achieving greater health equity,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI in a webinar organised by Marwah Studios for the young film makers of AAFT.

The bicycle contributes to cleaner air and less congestion and makes education, health care and other social services more accessible to the most vulnerable populations. A sustainable transport system that promotes economic growth, reduces inequalities while bolstering the fight against climate change is critical to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO) walking and cycling can provide a form of transport while reducing the risk of heart disease, stroke, certain cancers, diabetes, and even death. Accordingly, improved active transport is not only healthy; it is also equitable and cost-effective.

Yoga doesn’t care about what you have been; it cares about the person you are becoming,” added Dr. Marwah also President of World Peace Development And Research Foundation and Patron to Global Yog Alliance.

Global Yog Alliance’s initiative is geared towards forming a rainbow of the real spiritual. The one that has been present for humanity since the beginning of Universe through its scientific roots, to the latest that governs the sci-fi global world of today,” said Dr. Gopal Ji thanking all the dignities present at the opening session. The training will go up to 21st June 2021 already declared as International Day of Yoga.

Noida: Only on 10th Marwah Studios has celebrated its 30th Year of operations in Noida Film City with great pomp and show. Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios inaugurated and declared open the 109th batch of Asian Academy of Film And Television now on 20th April after bidding good bye to trainees of 108th batch of AAFT from Noida Film City

“We have completed the spiritual round of 108 batches of AAFT. Time has come when we are now starting the new innings of education and training in this tough times of Covid19. These are test times for all of us and we have to emerged as winners in every possible condition,” added Sandeep Marwah motivating the new batch of trainees.

“AAFT has already proved to the World that we are the best as far as  film, TV, Media and all other arts associated with it, now it is your turn to put your best and carved out a wonderful career for yourself under the best of the  infrastructure, equipment, experts and faculty in the given conditions available at AAFT,” expressed Marwah.

All the directors, head of the departments, faculty members were present on the occasion who all spoke on their specializations and different programs designed for the students in the coming months.

Noida: “Throughout its history, the Marwah Studios family has celebrated diversity and promoted the rights and well-being of persons with disabilities, including learning differences and developmental disabilities. “Koshish-Sahyog” an organization is working towards special children for now many years,” said Dr,. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Chancellor AAFT University talking to members of ICMEI on World Autism Awareness Day at Noida Film City.

“There is a special cell at ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry at Marwah Studios to create awareness about disabilities and to sensitize people about the weakness in the society. We have been using our Radio Station Radio Noida 107.4FM and MSTV to broadcast such programs and social messages so that large number of people can understand the kind of support they need to give to these special people,” added Dr. Marwah.

The United Nations General Assembly unanimously declared 2 April as World Autism Awareness Day to highlight the need to help improve the quality of life of those with autism so they can lead full and meaningful lives as an integral part of society.

Autism is a lifelong neurological condition that manifests during early childhood, irrespective of gender, race or socio-economic status. The term Autism Spectrum refers to a range of characteristics. Appropriate support, accommodation and acceptance of this neurological variation allow those on the Spectrum to enjoy equal opportunity, and full and effective participation in society.

Writers Association of India Celebrated World Poetry Day

Noida: Held every year on 21 March, World Poetry Day celebrates one of humanity’s most treasured forms of cultural and linguistic expression and identity. “Practiced throughout history – in every culture and on every continent – poetry speaks to our common humanity and our shared values, transforming the simplest of poems into a powerful catalyst for dialogue and peace,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Writers Association of India in a meet at Marwah Studios, Noida Film City.

UNESCO first adopted 21 March as World Poetry Day during its 30th General Conference in Paris in 1999, with the aim of supporting linguistic diversity through poetic expression and increasing the opportunity for endangered languages to be heard.

“World Poetry Day is the occasion to honour poets, revive oral traditions of poetry recitals, promote the reading, writing and teaching of poetry, foster the convergence between poetry and other arts such as theatre, dance, music and painting, and raise the visibility of poetry in the media,” added Dr. Marwah who is also the President of Global Literary Festival Noida. Large number of writers and poets attended the event.

Feminism isn’t about making women stronger. Women are already strong, it’s about changing the way the world perceives that strength,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios inaugurating the session on International Women’s Day organised by IHRO International Human Rights Organization in association with ICMEI-International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry at Marwah Studios.

“There’s something so special about a woman who dominates in a man’s world. It takes a certain grace, strength, intelligence, fearlessness, and the nerve to never take no for an answer. Women are leaders everywhere you look—from the CEO who runs a Fortune 500 company to the housewife who raises her children and heads her household. Our country was built by strong women, and they will continue to break down walls and defy stereotypes,” added Dr. Marwah motivating the house full of Women delegates from all over India.

International Solidarity Day Celebrated at AAFT

Noida: The General Assembly, on 22 December 2005, identified solidarity as one of the fundamental and universal values that should underlie relations between peoples in the twenty-first century, and in that regard decided to proclaim 20 December of each year International Human Solidarity Day. 

The concept of solidarity has defined the work of the United Nations since the birth of the Organization. The creation of the United Nations drew the peoples and nations of the world together to promote peace, human rights and social and economic development.

“International Human Solidarity Day is: a day to celebrate our unity in diversity; a day to remind governments to respect their commitments to international agreements; a day to raise public awareness of the importance of solidarity; a day to encourage debate on the ways to promote solidarity for the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals including poverty eradication and it is a day of action to encourage new initiatives for poverty eradication,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University of Media And Arts while talking to the media students of the University.

“It is in the spirit of solidarity that the Organization relies on “cooperation in solving international problems of an economic, social, cultural or humanitarian character” as well,” added Dr. Marwah who is also Chair for World Peace Development And Research Foundation. The event was supported by ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry and IJC-International Journalism Centre.

KOSHISH SAHYOG Created at Marwah Studios to support Special People

Noida: All the activities at Marwah Studios associated with disabilities, special children and any other section of society which needs these kinds of supports shall be roped in this organization called KOSHISH-SAHYOG informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios who has been involved with society welfare from a long time.

Sandeep Marwah has been involved with making of special cinema where films are made on some achievers who have done extra ordinary well even though they have been discarded by the society because of disability. He has been conducting a film festival of films on disability now for more than twenty-five years. Special screenings are done with every batch of AAFT to sensitize the students of the institution.

The most popular international film festival-Global Film Festival Noida has a section every year to showcase films on disability from last thirteen years. Every college of AAFT University is somewhere or other involved with this department to create awareness about the subject.

Radio Noida 107.4Fm under the President ship of Sandeep Marwah broadcast weekly programs on special people and MSTV has also been broadcasting films on disability frequently. Marwah Studios has been conducting workshops, seminars, talks, interactions, exhibitions related to the subject of disability.

Marwah Studios has also adopted two schools of special Children Prayatan in Delhi and Dehradun. Sandeep Marwah is also Patron to Vihan organization run by Varija Bajaj.

United Nations honoured Marwah for his contribution to social upliftment including contribution to Special people. Marwah is also the part of Special Olympics and associated with large such organizations.

ICMEI Celebrated National Day of Cambodia

Noida: “I on behalf of ICMEI, Media and Entertainment Industry and complete Art and Culture fraternity of India extend my heartiest congratulations to H.E. Ung Sean

Ambassador of Cambodia to India and people of Cambodia on the occasion of National Day (Independence Day) of Cambodia which falls on 9th November,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Founder of Noida Film City and President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry.

Not very long ago Sandeep Marwah was nominated as the Chair for Indo Cambodia Film And Cultural Forum by H.E. Ung Sean to develop and promote relation between two countries.  ICFCF was part of 6th Global Literary Festival Noida and now also joined  as partners in progress with 13th Global Film Festival Noida to be held on 26th to 28th November.

Earlier, a delegation  was planned to Cambodia from India comprising of representatives from films, media and education industry which had to be cancelled because of Pandemic. “We are looking for the right opportunity to take the delegation to Cambodia as early as possible,” said Marwah.

Dato Sri Dr. Shahul Hameed Sirajudeen Managing Director at Siraj Exim General Trading, Dr. S.S.R. Ramdass a former MLA & former Member of Parliament from Chennai and  Vijay Laxmi Mishra Life Member & Secretary of Indo Cambodia Film And Cultural Forum join hands in planning a meet on Cambodia.
