New Delhi: “Literature is an art of expression. An expression of emotions, and feelings through words. Some literary works are remembered for long as they create a deeper impact on the reader’s mind,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios Inaugurating the Literary Carnival organised by Seema Saxena of Jashn Event Management at India International Centre.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah appealed to the Litterateur and Authors to contribute for the mission to build a Culturally Sound Society through their Literary Pieces reflecting the truth & said Writers bring the change in the society.

Dr. Marwah also released the books of Kasturika Mishra, Parull Diwaan and Tushar Goel. This event was witnessed by  Sushil Bharti  Director Broadcasting Marwah Studios,  Shivani Sharma Singh- Mrs Asia Pacific, Sharmila Bhawmick Senior Journalist & team of Care View India was also there.

New Delhi: Another seminar was planned by the WAI- writers Association of India with some of the most prominent writers talking and expressing their views on the interesting and serious topic like Commercial Transparency in Literature World on web.

“Writers association of India has been created to help and support new & established writers. We have been producing short films on short stories by differ rent writers to promote them in films and media World. Association has been  conducting large number of workshops, seminars, interactions, talks, symposiums, anniversaries  of renowned writers and festival. Popular and powerful awards  have already been constituted under the name of Dr Sarojini Naidu, and late prime Minister of India Shri Atal Bihari Bajpayee. The association has conducted ample Kavi Sammelans / Kavya Goshthi’s to support literature of India,” initiated Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Writers Association of India and Chancellor AAFT University of Media And Arts.

Renowned writer and Lawyer Ashok Arora said Writing is a great hobby, but it can be a tough profession to earn money from. Besides, you must be exceptionally good at writing to make a living from it. “Writers get better by writing a lot. So instead of going for “full-time author” straight off the bat, pick a job or work as a writer in other shapes and forms. Let’s call this commercial writing,” Dr. Rama Singh poetess and veteran teacher.

“Some of the magazines also pay for the write-ups which include essays (Trending news and various topics), book reviews and other important topics which need coverage. As they say, a pen is mightier than the sword. By writing op-ed, you can actually write about things you truly care for – try to be the change you want to see in the world,” said Ashok Tyagi well known Film writer &  director and Secretary General for ICMEI.

“Writing for magazines, blogs eyc. is one of the ways to write articles and earn money in India. This also helps you build credibility as a writer because when you finally pitch your work to a publisher, you will have lots of writing visible online with your name on it,” added Dr. Divik Ramesh senior poet and writer.

“A job in publishing can be a great learning experience. The tips and tricks of the trade that you will learn while doing so, can also be helpful when your book is ready. You can then finally turn your dream of being a published author into reality and utilize all this information by practically applying it all,” expressed Dr. Pratap Sehgal.

Writers Association of India Celebrated World Poetry Day

Noida: Held every year on 21 March, World Poetry Day celebrates one of humanity’s most treasured forms of cultural and linguistic expression and identity. “Practiced throughout history – in every culture and on every continent – poetry speaks to our common humanity and our shared values, transforming the simplest of poems into a powerful catalyst for dialogue and peace,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Writers Association of India in a meet at Marwah Studios, Noida Film City.

UNESCO first adopted 21 March as World Poetry Day during its 30^th General Conference in Paris in 1999, with the aim of supporting linguistic diversity through poetic expression and increasing the opportunity for endangered languages to be heard.

“World Poetry Day is the occasion to honour poets, revive oral traditions of poetry recitals, promote the reading, writing and teaching of poetry, foster the convergence between poetry and other arts such as theatre, dance, music and painting, and raise the visibility of poetry in the media,” added Dr. Marwah who is also the President of Global Literary Festival Noida. Large number of writers and poets attended the event.

AAA Declared Dr. Sarojini Naidu Now An International Award

New Delhi: The fourth edition of Dr. Sarojini Naidu National Award for Women has been converted and upgraded into an International Award for Working Women to develop and promote strong relations with the people of the World,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Academy of Arts.

 

The awards are part and parcel of 6^th Global Literary Festival 2020 to be held from 17^th to 19^th September on web. Large number of programs has been designed. The festival will work as the show window of Indian literature.

 

Around sixty countries are going to participate through their representatives in India and abroad. This time awards will also be given to women working outside India. Participation from United Kingdom, United States of America, Hungary, United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, Azerbaijan, Panama and other countries have already received.

 

The list of programs will soon be out on the website. More than six lakh people have been informed about the Global Literary festival till now. International Women’s Film Forum is jointly working with the award function and AAFT University supporting the show.

4th Edition of Dr. Sarojini Naidu National Award For Working Women Announced

 

 

 

New Delhi: The 4^th edition of most prestigious National award after the name of great freedom fighter, national leader and poetess Dr. Sarojini Naidu for the Working women has been announced by Asian Academy of Arts, a three decades old organization, under the leadership of world-renowned art promoter Dr. Sandeep Marwah. 

 

The awards were instituted way back in 2016 to appreciate and promote all those women who have done commendable work in their respective fields and immerged as leaders in society. It is also meant for those women who all are sincerely involved in bringing change to the society and running social organizations. 

 

Earlier the awards were presented to women achievers during Global Literary Festival Noida in the grounds of Marwah Studios Film City Noida. This time award function will be online during 6^th Global Literary Festival 2020 from 17^th to 19^th September. 

 

All deserving women are required to submit their profiles to the jury by email info@aaft.com by 10th of September for final announcement. The decision of the jury will be final. Awards will be handed over personally after the event.

The award titled as Atal Bihari Vajpayee National Award For Promotion of Art And Culture was constituted by AAA-Asian Academy of Arts in association with AAFT University of Media And Arts and ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry immediately after the death of former Prime Minister to mark respect to his untiring contribution to the nation and art and culture of India, he himself was also a well renowned poet.

This time owing to Covid 19 the awards will be presented through web event. Global Literary Festival has been planned from 17^th to 19^th September 2020. Success comes from confidence. …Confidence comes from knowledge and knowledge comes from reading,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah   inaugurating the literary carnival at India International Centre.

“Releasing books means giving birth to the baby. These books must cover large audience for the satisfaction of the writer,” expressed Dr. Marwah also released three different books of three different writers on the inauguration.

I extend my heartiest congratulations to the writers of these three books and invite them to Global Literary Festival. Books titles ‘I love Myself’ by Vandana Sehgal, ‘Chand Gira Hai’ by Jyoti Arya, ‘Mortal Vishnu’ by Antar Artiya were presented to Dr. Marwah by the writers.

Noida: A powerful national level meet of writers took place at Asian Academy of Film And Television organized by   International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry at Marwah Studios Film City Noida.

Many writers from all over India representing their fraternity discussed and came to the conclusion that an active and a central body     need to be created to look into the interest of writers. More than fifty writers who were present on the writers meet have together formed writer’s Association of India.

“I am obelized to be the President of this beautiful organization where writers from all over India can join without any charge. The membership is open and available to any young and old writer,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Education Group.

“We will be organizing workshops, seminars, interaction programs, talks, book releases, book readings, Festivals and if possible will also promote publishing of books,” added Dr. Marwah in his speech.

“We will also provide platform to writers to express themselves with a special program on Radio Noida 107.4FM and MSTV and a newspaper Country And Politics on weekly basis,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah enthusiastically.

Sushil Bharti has been nominated, as the Secretary to the organization and Viney Kumar, Rajiv Mathur, Haripriya Thakur, Sheerya Katyal, Sheenu Dhamija and Guneet Singh from Marwah Studios will support the cause of writing.

I appreciate the efforts of Dr. Gagandeep Kaur and congratulate all the women on the release of the book,” said Sandeep Marwah while releasing the book.

Noida: The fourth edition of Global Literary Festival Noida has been placed on 13^th September 2018 at Noida Film City declared by Sandeep Marwah the President of Asian Academy of Arts.

“We are pleased to announce the 4^th edition of Global Literary Festival Noida to be held at Marwah Studios in Noida Film City and shall have 52 events in 3 days of festival. Renowned writer director Sushil Bharti has been nominated as the festival director and Art and Cultural Promoter Dr. Mridula Tondon as Co- Director of the festival.

New Delhi: A two days art book festival – New Delhi Art Book Fair was inaugurated by Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios at Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts.

The festival was dedicated to the celebration of the country’s rich arts and cultural heritage through the prism of artists and books. The festival was open to the public to witness special workshops and activities for children.

“This first “free and open” art book fair is a unique platform to discover India’s vast arts and cultural spectrum through diverse panel discussions, workshops, art and book exhibitions,” said Sandeep Marwah also titled as the Global Cultural Minister. “India is full of extraordinary, unique and fascinating arts and crafts, we need these kind of platforms to project and display this wonders of Indian arts. I congratulate Supriya Suri for taking initiative towards this side of the country,” added Marwah.

Inauguration was followed by a talk by noted art historian, photographer and filmmaker Benoy K. Behl on his latest book The Art of India – Sculpture and Mural Painting later released by Sandeep Marwah. 

Sandeep Marwah also inaugurated a special exhibition Iran and India: From Persian Gulf to Indian Ocean by Daryoosh Akbarzadeh. This show explored the centuries’ old relations between Iran and India and the common ties in various cultural spheres.

Noida: Justice G.S. Sasthani of Delhi High Court released the first book of poetry written by Punesh Anand in a grand function at Marwah Studios, Noida Film City.

“The art of writing is the expression of your thoughts and feelings. The poetry book of Punesh Anand has added a lot to the literature when people are forgetting to write. I hope he continues to write and would love to be the part of his second book launching function too,” said Justice G.S. Sasthani while releasing the book Nichod.

“I   have been appreciating Punesh Anand for his art of writing, he has reached to the stage where he has started talking in poetry. I have understood that he must be given an opportunity to come in public with his talent,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

“I am amazed and surprised by the organizing capacity of Marwah Studios who all have not only identified me out of crowd but also published my work in no time. From No where to Some Where-this is life. I am thankful to each and every one who has helped me in reaching to this platform and declaring me a Poet,” added Punesh Anand emotionally.

Noida: Renowned art lover and art presenter Dr. Mridula Tandon has been nominated as the Co Director of one of the biggest literary festival of India Global Literary Festival Noida 2017 edition.

The management and administration under the president ship of renowned international media personality Sandeep Marwah has decided to bring Dr. Mridula Tandon on the board of GLFN 2017. GLFN is supported by Asian Academy of Arts and Asian Academy of Film And Television.

“I am pleased and honored to be now part of GLFN 2017. I have always prayed art as a religion. I leave no stone unturned to add on to the existing literature festival,” said Dr. Mridula Tandon also the president of Sakshi Charitable Institution.
