Chetan Bhagat For Master Class at AAFT University Webinar


New Delhi: Chetan Bhagat is an Indian author and columnist, known for his English novels about young middle-class Indians took the mater class at AAFT University to motivate the students during lock down owing to Corona Virus.

“We need to be strong and must learn how to cope up with the situation. The new India is in your hands and we need young, enthusiastic, dynamic and powerful leaders out of you to control the great India which is emerging as super power,” said Chetan Bhagat with great zest and positive energy.

Bhagat was included in Time magazine's list of World's 100 Most Influential People in 2010. He has been a well known writer and given some of the most beautiful books like Five Point Someone, One Night @ the Call Centre, The 3 Mistakes of My Life, 2 States, Revolution 2020, Half Girlfriend, One Indian Girl and The Girl in The Room as fiction and What Young India Wants, Making India Awesome, India Positive in non fiction category.

Later he answered many questions put up by the students concerning the art of writing, his involvement with cinema and his lookout towards covid 19 lockout.

ICMEI Celebrated Mauritius National Day at AAFT

National Day of Mauritius Celebrated at AAFT


Noida: International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry celebrated the National Day of Mauritius, which falls on 12th March, with the students of Media of Asian Academy of Film And Television at Marwah Studios, Noida Film City.

Three projects were launched for research including Cinema in Mauritius, Mass Communication and Journalism of Mauritius and Fashion And Design Industry of Mauritius. Three projects were handed over to the students of AAFT and Asian School of Media Studies under their director’s guidance.

“I on behalf of Media And Entertainment Industry of India extend my heartiest congratulations to the High Commission of Mauritius to India and the people of country on this auspicious day. May friendship between the two countries remain best for ever,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

National Day in Mauritius annually falls on March 12. It celebrates the day, when the country gained independence from the United Kingdom in 1968 and the Republic of Mauritius was formed in 1992.Mauritius became a British colony in 1810.

Mumbai:” It is a great pleasure to see the students of Asian School of Media Studies working together for a powerful project of feature film ‘Mooh Mittha Karao’  directed by a woman director from ASMS Jasmine Kaur Sakheja,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of ASMS at the Muhurat of a new project at Future Studios at Goregaon, Mumbai.

“I extend my heartiest congratulations to each and every one and wish this film a very big success. The training at Marwah Studios has always been practical which gives students ample confidence to get on the floor for production of films like this,” added Marwah congratulating each and every one present there. Dr. Marwah was accompanied with Dr. Sushil Bharti of Radio Noida 107.4FM.

“I am so excited with the project and it is giving me a very homely environment to work with the team, all from my film school. We all belong to different batches but sence of oneness is there,” said Jasmine Kaur Sukheja ASMS 2014-17 batch welcoming Dr. Marwah on the sets.

The team consisting of pass outs from ASMS including Vaibhav Singh as Creative Director  and Shantanu Singh as Associate Director from 2014-17 batch, Vishal Vashisth as Chief Assistant and Script Supervisor, Prasanna Bisht as Costume Assistant Director from 2015-18, Rahul Bobby First Assistant of 2016-19, Abhishek Upadhyay Second Assistant of 2014-15 and  Wicky Singh as Assistant Director of 2014-16 batch.

New Delhi: Convocation of department of Mass Communication And Journalism ASMS-Asian School of Media Studies was held at Marwah Studios in Noida Film City.

More than 125 students belonging to Graduation and post Graduation in the field of Mass Communication And Journalism and PR Events & Advertising received their prestigious degree from the renowned film, television and media personality Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University.

“The success of the student lying in his presentation backed and supported by his education and training, Knowledge and its application is the key factor in placement. I am pleased to note that most of the students have already managed to get their first job,” said Dr. Marwah while giving his convocation address.

The institution teaches you every thing but experience you have to gain from life.  There is no alternative to hard work. Be honest to your profession and respect time   then time will respect you,” added Dr. Marwah in his speech.

The certificated of achievement along with memento were passed on to all the students in a well-planned colorful and formal function. Later Dr. Marwah also presented the certificate of appreciation to students who represented different countries for research work for International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry.

Film Workshop by Hungarian Film Maker At AAFT



Noida: A powerful workshop by a well-known film maker and educationist Dr. Balazs Vargawas conducted at Asian Academy of Film And Television organized by Indo Hungarian Film And Cultural Forum in association with Hungarian Information And Culttural Centre of Embassy of Hungary in India.

A box office hit musical comedy Dollybirds/Csinibaba directed by Peter Timar made in 1997 was screened during workshop, which is about the early 1960s. The film is a cult classic of post-socialist nostalgia, depicting Eastern European’s longing for different living and for (imaginary, Western) worlds that were never existed. 

Balázs Varga is an Assistant Professor of Film Studies at Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest, Hungary. He writes and lectures on modern and contemporary Hungarian cinema, contemporary European cinema, production studies, popular cinemas and documentaries. 

Balazs Varga is a founding editor of Metropolis, a scholarly journal on film theory and history based in Budapest. His recent research project has examined the post-communist transition of the Hungarian film industry. His current project focuses on popular East European cinemas. He has published several articles and essays in English, Italian, Polish, Czech and Hungarian books and journals. 

The film maker answered many questions asked by the film and media students. The Cultural Counselor and Director of HICC Pal Bodogh Szabe extended his cooperation for all time to come.

Later Sandeep Marwah honored and presented Life Membership of International Film And Television Club of AAFT to the dignities from Hungary.

26th Annual AAFT-ASMS Alumni Meet Announced


26th AAFT ASMS Alumni Meet on 21st


New Delhi; The26th Annual Alumni Meet has been announced on 21st December at the AAFT premises at Marwah Studios Film City Noida informed Haripriya Director Events.

“This is going to be the 26th Annual meet. AAFT started in 1993 when only 40 students were enrolled in four courses and the first alumni meet took place in 1994 with the students of short term courses from four batches,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President Asian Academy of Film And Television.

“In 2003 we started graduation and post graduation programs under Asian School of Media Studies and added many new courses to short term. Today we are proud to announce that AAFT is now the University of Media And Arts,” added Dr. Marwah.

“We are looking forward for a beautiful get together on 21st December that will give a powerful opportunity to students for a very strong networking,” added Amir Abdullah Director School of Cinema.

All former students are invited to join the get together from the school of Cinema, School of Fashion and Design, School of Animation, School of Performing Arts, Asian Institute of Hospitality and Tourism, School of Mass Communication and Journalism, School of PR Events and Advertising, School of Photography and AAFT Short Term Courses.

Sandeep Marwah Inaugurated The Exhibition-Magnum Opus


New Delhi: A group show of paintings by renowned artists was inaugurated by Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios at newly opened art gallery-My Art Galleries under the title Magnum Opus.

“The display of paintings by well-known senior artists has added a lot to the positioning of art gallery in west Delhi. The art center must also give opportunities to young and talented artists,” said Sandeep Marwah while lighting the ceremonial lamp.

“I have been in art promotion for now thirty five years and realized that it is only art and culture which can bring love, peace and unity in the country. Promotion of all fine arts and performing arts is necessary at all corners of the World,” added Marwah.

Paintings by Bimal Das, Archana Das, Rajesh Sharma, Mange Ram Sharma, Inder Singh Oodaru, Vijay Kumar Wahal, Devi Das Khatri, Sudha R Sama, Mahmood Ahmed, Anand Singh, Sunita Lamba, Mamoon Nomani and Ved Prakash Bakhru were displayed in the show. Dimple Sharma and Sikandar Jangra curated the art show.

5th Edition of Professional Boxing at Marwah Studios

Noida: “There are plenty of talented people in the world. As you already know, talent is not enough. Some of the athletes with the most potential never pan out. What separates the good from the great is determination and work ethic, which you gain from sports of any nature,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Patron to Boxing Federation at the press conference to launch 5th Professional Fight of Boxing at Marwah Studios.

“If you have to work hard for anything, the final outcome is that much sweeter. Every ounce of sweat on the ground is another ounce of joy when the scoreboard is in your favor. There are no championship players or teams that tell reporters, “This was such an easy win.” Added Dr. Marwah introducing the rules and regulations of Boxing to the Press.

Amjad Khan the international player of Boxing and President of Amjad Khan Boxing Academy spoke about the teams participating in the fights. He answered the queries of the press.

The fight will take place in few days at Marwah Studios sponsored by AAFT University, ICMEI and sports Club of ASMS. UK based, World Boxing Champion and Olympic Medalist Amir Khan send his best wishes on the occasion.

Sports Teaches Sportsmanship to Students-Sandeep Marwah

Noida: Asian Education Group- AEG recently held its much sought-after mega annual inter-college sports event – ATHLEEMA 2019-Season 7 – from 13th to 15th March 2019 at the sprawling Jasola Sports Complex, New Delhi with its traditional punch of excitement and grandeur. 

The awards were distributed and presented by Dr. Sandeep Marwah the Chancellor of the AAFT University of Media And Arts on the final day of the event at ABS campus.

“Sports are not only necessary to bring in change in the daily class room education but to develop the personality of the child. They are essential to keep you fit and healthy and to inculcate a spirit of sportsman ship which will always enhance your Character,” said Dr, Sandeep Marwah while presenting the awards.

In all, 36 top colleges of the metropolitan capital city enthusiastically participated in this sports spectacle. This included all the three constituent group colleges of Asian Education Group – namely, Asian Business School (ABS)Asian School of Business (ASB) & Asian Law College (ALC) – which actively participated in this high-pitch sports’ meet.

Of the several games in which competition was held, ATHLEEMA 2019 witnessed some nail-biting matches in Football, cricket, Volleyball, and many other games.

Institutions, which participated, also included Sharda University, Amity University, Gautam Budha University, Dyal Singh College, IIMT Greater Noida, AAFT, PGDAV, ASMS and others.

New Delhi: ASMS has been rated as one of the most well planned schools of Mass Communication and Journalism in India as decided by the jury of 26th National NAI awards at New Delhi.

The union Minister of Social Justice And Empowerment, Government of India Ramdas Athawale congratulated Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Education Group for its successful completion of 25 years.

“Dr. Sandeep Marwah has done a commendable job by establishing Noida Film City and  ASMS School of Mass Communication And Journalism. The only setup to have its own News Paper, Radio Station, Television Station, News Agency, Film Production House, New Media House, an Event Management organization, an Advertising Agency and a 360 degree education,” spoke Vipin Gaur anchoring the show.

H.E. Radu Dobre Ambassador of Romania to India presented the award along with President of NAI Surya Bhan Rajput and Senior Vice President O.P.Sharma.
“I an so thankful to NAI for recognizing my efforts in field of journalism,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah is the instrument in declaring 12th February as the International Day of Journalism and to start first Global Festival of Journalism under International Journalism Centre of Marwah Studios.

Noida: AAFT-Asian Academy of Film And Television a Twenty Five year old established film school today has created another World Record with the convocation of 100th batch of its trainees.

“We are so excited that today we have created another international record for our self as we are the only film school in the World who could reach to the 100th convocation,” said Sandeep Marwah President AAFT in the convocation in the presence of august audience.

Dr. Bardinath the Chancellor of Kalinga University, Dr. Jagannath Vice Chancellor of ICFAI University, H.E. Rabie Narsh Ambassador of Lebanon to India, H.E. Michael A N N Oquaye High Commissioner of Ghana to India, Anil Khaitan Immediate Past President of PHDCCI, Padam Shree Sumitra Guha renowned Vocalist, Padam Shree Pratibha Prahlad renowned dance exponent and Jyoti Kailash Senior IAS officer were witness to the history being written.


Asian Academy of Film And Television has so far churned out more than 13000 media professionals hailing from all the 29 states and seven union territories of India and 120 countries of the World in last 100 batches of trainees.

Noida: WE are here to share our experience in film industry. What all we had to go through must be told to make you a perfect film maker. Rome was never built in a day. You have to be street smart to be successful,” said Vindu Dara Singh while narrating his stories to the young film makers of Asian School of Media Studies at Noida Film City.

Education and training is the right way to get into film and television industry. There is no difference between left between the two mediums. You have to learn the best from the given situation and here from your teachers,” he added while answering the questions of the film students.

Vindu made his acting debut in the 1994 Hindi film Karan. Then he acted in 1996 Punjabi film, Rab Dian Rakhan as a hero followed by Mitter Pare Nu Hall Mureedan Da Kehna, and in Jatt James Bond, with Gippy Grewal and Lion Of Punjab, with Daljit Dosanjh. Since then, he has acted in many films, mostly in supporting roles.

“I am thankful to Vindu for   motivating the students of Asian Education Group. There is nothing bigger than experience,” said Sandeep Marwah Thanking   Vindu for his efforts.

Noida: Hon’ble Shri Pranab Mukherjee, the 13th President of India graced an elaborate gathering at Asian Education Group at their campus in Noida. Students from all the schools of AEG, were present there to listen, meet and greet H.E. Pranab Mukherjee.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah addressed the students while initiating the program and pressed upon the students to have a positive attitude, self-belief and conviction with an aim to work for development of the society with vibrant India. He highlighted the importance of research and development in the growth of any country and as per him; it is the student community who has to take a lead in this regard. Marwah presented ‘Scroll of Honour’ and memento to H.E. Pranab Mukherjee.

Mohit Marwah Director AEG expressed his excitement on the arrival of H.E. Pranab Mukherjee. Akshay Marwah CEO Marwah Studios invited Mukherjee for lighting the ceremonial lamp. Dr. Lalitya Vir Srivastava, Director Asian Education Group expressed his hope that the students will always be remembering this interaction with him as a lifelong learning. 

 H.E. Pranab Mukherjee congratulated Asian Education Group for successfully imparting education for 25 years and becoming one of the most innovative, trusted and influential education groups in the country.

He called upon the student community to make India self-reliant in every field by better use of technology so that we would potentially be a super power in the coming days. But at the same time, we also need to make sure that we do not lose track of our traditional values while moving ahead.

This was certainly a great experience for students of Asian Education Group to listen to the person who held the highest office of the nation. National Day of Malaysia Celebrated at Marwah Studios


Noida: The management of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry under the leadership of its President Sandeep Marwah celebrated National Day of Malaysia at Noida Film City.

“I on behalf of ICMEI and media and entertainment industry of India extend our heartiest congratulation to he people of Malaysia on their National Day which falls on 31st of August,” said Sandeep Marwah also President of Marwah Studios.

Both countries are full members of the Commonwealth of Nations, Asian Union and G15. India and Malaysia are also connected by various cultural and historical ties that date back to antiquity.

The two countries are on excellently friendly terms with each other seeing as Malaysia is home to a strong concentration of Indian immigrants. Mahathir Mohamad, the fourth and longest serving Prime Minister of Malaysia has Indian ancestry.

On trade front their bilateral trade volume stands at $10.5 billion and is poised to reach $25 billion by 2020. Recently formed Indo Malaysia Film And Cultural Forum supported the event.

Noida: A workshop to create a feeling of compassion was organized by Asian Academy of Film And Television for the media students conducted by Amitabh Shah who came all the way from Ahmedabad to take the class.

“There is need for youngsters to understand the meaning of humanity, social work and compassion to have meaningful life on this planet. No success can be achieved unless you have sense of sacrifice,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

I have left everything in my life that is glamour, style, luxuries, expensive pleasure and my business to get associated with masses and their problems. I am only understanding their feelings which are different at different stages of life and associated with their culture,” expressed Amitabh Shah

A long session was conducted and followed by large number of question answers, which Amitabh enjoyed with the media students at Marwah Studios.

Atal Behari Vajpayee National Award For Art And Culture Constituted


Noida: In a board meeting of Asian Academy of Arts a joint decision was taken to constitute and launch a prestigious and a powerful award for the promotion of art and culture after the name of former Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee.

“An Award will be called Atal Behari Vajpayee National Award For The Promotion of Art And Culture to be given to all those who have contributed for the promotion of art and culture. This is the first of its kind in the country to mark respect to the great poet and statesman of the Republic of India,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Academy of Arts.

A poster was launched and all the members present there wrote their remarks on this historical day of constituting this esteemed award. A series of remarks were recorded to keep in the archives of the Academy.

Atal Behari Vajpayee was an Indian politician who served three terms as the Prime Minister of India. He was a member of the Indian Parliament for over four decades, having been elected to the Lok Sabha, the lower house, ten times, and twice to the Rajya Sabha, the upper house.

He was conferred India's highest civilian honor, the Bharat Ratna, by the President of India, Pranab Mukherjee in 2015. The administration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared in 2014 that Vajpayee's birthday, 25 December, would be marked as Good Governance Day.

“Today we are feeling elevated on announcing this award after the name of Atal Behari Vajpayee. The Asian Education Group, Marwah Studios and all the hundred organizations associated with us will work for this prestigious award,” added Marwah remembering the quotes of former Prime Minister.

The award ceremony will be the part of most popular Global Literary Festival Noida. The first edition of awards will be handed over during the 4th edition of Global Literary Festival, which has emerged as the second biggest literary festival of the country.

100th Session of AAFT Inaugurated at Noida Film City

Noida: Asian Academy of Film And Television has become and declared the first film, television and media institute in the World to launch its 100th Session of film, television and media training with the opening of 100th session today.

“I am feeling important to be the part of World history of cinema when 100th session of AAFT is being inaugurated in the presence of more than 500 media aspirants. This date will go into the history of    cinema,” said Sanjay Kapoor renowned film and television personality at the inauguration of 100th batch of AAFT at Noida Film City.

“We all have to work hard and   have to be truthful to our profession to succeed in this line. No halfhearted involvement can get you success. We all have Sandeep Marwah as the case study right in front of us. His advice will get you things             on easy terms,” added Sanjay Kapoor addressing to large audience.

“It was dream few years back, today it is the truth. We have completed 25 years of our services to media education and 100th session has brought another World Record to our credit. I am so thankful to each and every one who all have contributed to the success of AAFT,” said Sandeep Marwah President Asian Education Group.

The complete faculty, administration, students and   guest from film and television fraternity were witness to this historical event. “We are ready to fly from here to new heights and status,” said Akshay Marwah CEO of Asian Education Group.
