AAFT Celebrates National Broadcast Day at Marwah Studios with Rotary E-Club of Winter Haven

Noida: The Asian Academy of Film & Television (AAFT) celebrated National Broadcast Day with great enthusiasm at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida, in association with the Rotary E-Club of Winter Haven 6890, Florida. The event was supported by Radio Noida, Radio Raipur, Radio Mumbai, and MSTV, bringing together media professionals, students, broadcasters, and communication experts to acknowledge the vital role of broadcasting in nation-building and public awareness.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and President of the Rotary E-Club of Winter Haven 6890, Florida, highlighted the significance of broadcasting as one of the most powerful instruments of communication.

“National Broadcast Day reminds us of the immense responsibility carried by broadcasters in informing, educating, and entertaining society. From the early days of radio to today’s digital broadcasting platforms, the medium has played a pivotal role in shaping public opinion, preserving culture, and connecting communities across geographical boundaries,” said Dr. Marwah.

He further added, “Broadcasting is not merely about transmitting information; it is about building trust, inspiring positive change, and giving a voice to every section of society. At AAFT, we have always believed in nurturing responsible media professionals who uphold the highest standards of ethics, creativity, and professionalism. Our students are trained to become storytellers who contribute meaningfully to society through television, radio, digital media, and emerging broadcasting technologies.”

Dr. Marwah also acknowledged the valuable contribution of Radio Noida, Radio Raipur, Radio Mumbai, and MSTV in promoting education, culture, social awareness, and community engagement through quality broadcasting.

The programme featured discussions on the evolution of broadcasting in India, the impact of digital technologies on the media landscape, and the growing opportunities for young professionals in the broadcasting industry. ICMEI and AAFT Celebrate World Environment Day with Poster Launch at Marwah Studios

Noida: Reinforcing its commitment to environmental awareness and sustainable development, the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), in association with AAFT, celebrated World Environment Day with great enthusiasm at Marwah Studios, Film City, Noida. The event brought together students, media professionals, environmental enthusiasts, and members of the creative community to highlight the urgent need for environmental conservation and collective action.

A specially designed poster dedicated to World Environment Day was officially launched during the celebration, symbolizing the organization’s pledge to promote environmental responsibility and inspire positive action towards protecting the planet.

AAFT & ICMEI Commemorate Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan at Marwah Studios

Noida: The Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Forum, in association with International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), organized a solemn and inspiring program at AAFT, Marwah Studios, Film City Noida, to remember and honor Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan—the eminent Indian academic, philosopher, and statesman who served as the Vice President of India from 1952 to 1962 and as the President of India from 1962 to 1967.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Chair of the Forum, highlighted the immense contribution of Dr. Radhakrishnan to education and nation-building. ICMEI and AAPU Sign Landmark MoU to Strengthen Unity and Cooperation Across Asia & the Asia-Pacific

Noida, India: A significant step toward regional unity and strategic collaboration was taken today with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between ICMEI – International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry and AAPU – Association for Asian Pacific Union. The MoU aims to jointly promote cooperation, cultural exchange, and institutional collaboration across Asia and the Asia-Pacific region.

Speaking on the occasion, J S Saluja, President of AAPU, emphasized that the partnership will act as a unifying platform for nations and institutions of the region. He noted that the alliance is committed to fostering dialogue, collaboration, and collective growth through sustained engagement in cultural, educational, and policy-driven initiatives.

Dr Sandeep Marwah, President of ICMEI, described the MoU as a visionary move to build bridges among countries of Asia and the Asia-Pacific. AAFT Celebrated 79th Independence Day with Great Pomp and Show

Noida, 15th August 2025: The Asian Academy of Film and Television (AAFT) celebrated the 79th Independence Day of India with grandeur, patriotism, and cultural fervor at its campus. The celebration was marked by a vibrant program curated by the faculty, which included dance, drama, music, singing of patriotic songs, and a series of competitions that showcased the spirit of freedom and creativity.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Chancellor of AAFT University, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Addressing the gathering, he said, “This Independence Day is not just a celebration but entertainment with pride. Such festivities remind us of our responsibilities as citizens and inspire us to work harder for the growth and unity of our nation.”

Dr. Marwah later distributed awards to the winners of the competitions, appreciating their talent and enthusiasm. The event witnessed active participation from all departments—Directors, Deans, Heads of Departments, Professors, Lecturers, as well as teams from Human Resources, Marketing, Sales, CRC, and Technical divisions.

Goa: The Digital News & Media Council of India- DNMCI nominated Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios as the Chief Patron to the Council on his visit to Goa informed Dr. Nixon Thottan Secretary General of DNMCI.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah recipient of Dada Saheb Phalke Film Foundation Award is the founder of Noida Film City, Marwah Studios, Asian Academy of Film and Television and more than hundred film, television & media organizations. He is the Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts and National Chairman for Media & Entertainment Committee of Bureau of Indian Standards, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution.

He is the founder of International Film and Television Club, International Film and Television Research Centre, Radio Noida 107.4Fm and MSTV. He has been on the board of All India Council for Technical Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India.

The Council will bring all the setups of India in Digital Media together and will look after their interest in the country. The council has 28 different offices state wise to administer better and give personal services to the stake holders.

I am thankful to DNMCI-Digital News & Media Council of India for giving me this honor. I will put my best for the same,” thanked Dr. Sandeep Marwah talking to the press at Hotel Lalit Golf & Spa Resort, South Goa.

Kunwar Shekhar Vijendra the current president of CEGR handed over the baton of CEGR to Dr. Sandeep Marwah and wished him all the best for the coming year. “I am sure Sandeep Marwah has a bigger vision for CEGR and he has the capacity and capability to prove the big change in the educational system of India. I wish him all the success,” said Kunwar Shekhar Vijendra.

London: “We are excited to announce New Delhi as the centre for our forth coming Pre-International Education Leaders Meet and Awards. We have finalised the venue at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida. The board members of AASGON are cordially invited to be part of this preliminary meeting to discuss the grand show in September or October next year,” said Sandeep Marwah in a meeting on web suggesting and informing about the planning.

Noida: The colourful decoration, massive gates, large posters of film makers, well dressed and enthusiastic film lovers adding spiritual energy to the event, were anxiously waiting for this international extravaganza the 14th Global Film Festival Noida 2021, to start in the campus of Marwah Studio, designed by IFTC-International Film and Television Club in association with AAFT and ICMEI-International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry.

On the occasion of thirty years of Marwah Studios we have brought today 14th edition of Global Film Festival Noida after a gap of more than a year to propagate our mission of bringing Love, Peace and Unity through art and culture. We are proud of our existence in this part of the World as now we have touched 145 countries, 7000 events, thirty lac audience under film tourism, representing 60 countries, 7 World Records and more than 1000 times honoured by the Global Media and Entertainment Industry,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Film Festival inviting and introducing all the dignities on the dice.

Present on the occasion H.E.  Dilshod Akhatov Ambassador of Uzbekistan expressed the strong relationship between India and Uzbekistan. He also invited the delegates to the forth coming Tashkent International Festival.

H.E. Dr. Roger Gopaul High Commissioner of Trinidad and Tobago congratulated the organisers and thanked for the inviting Trinidad and Tobago as partners of the   event. He emphasised on the reading habits and supporting publishing of books.

World Bicycle Day Celebrated at AAFT-Marwah Studios

New Delhi: “World Bicycle Day draws attention to the benefits of using the bicycle — a simple, affordable, clean and environmentally fit sustainable means of transportation. cycling is also a pathway for achieving greater health equity,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI in a webinar organised by Marwah Studios for the young film makers of AAFT.

The bicycle contributes to cleaner air and less congestion and makes education, health care and other social services more accessible to the most vulnerable populations. A sustainable transport system that promotes economic growth, reduces inequalities while bolstering the fight against climate change is critical to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO) walking and cycling can provide a form of transport while reducing the risk of heart disease, stroke, certain cancers, diabetes, and even death. Accordingly, improved active transport is not only healthy; it is also equitable and cost-effective.

New Delhi: “It has been now twenty-seven years we have been propagating the very important theme of Asian Unity since the inception of our first institution under the name and banner of Asian Academy of Film And Television,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios in an event organized by International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry to celebrate Asian Unity Day along with international press conference explaining the need of Asian Unity.

“It was 22nd July 1993 we inaugurated the institution and proposed a forum to bring in Love Peace and Unity through Art and Culture. We have always believed that it is necessary to have best of the relations between the Asian countries for their Political, Social, Economic and Cultural Growth and Peace,” added Sandeep Marwah.

“We are the first one in the World to start Asian Unity Day on 2nd April so that we can remind the people of this continent that we are one and together. Asian Academy of Film And Television further created an alliance- Forum For Asian Unity and trying to bring all the fifty countries together under this alliance,” expressed Marwah.

Sandeep Marwah has introduced many other organizations starting with the word Asia like Asian School of Media Studies, Asian Academy of Arts, Asian Business School, Asian School of Business, Asian Law College, Asian News Agency, Asian Institute of Hospitality and Tourism and now AAFT University where one or other way he has been promoting the concept of Asian Unity.

Indo Montenegro Poster Painting Competition on Friendship and Tourism


An Event to Highlight Indo Montenegro Relations


New Delhi: Dr. Janice Darbari the Honorary Consul General of Montenegro in India, organized the Poster painting Competition on FRIENDSHIP AND TOURISM with the schools of Delhi. Students aged 14 to 16 participated. More than  80 schools entered this competition. Out of 516 paintings, 39 paintings made it to the final round.

On the 17th April 2021 at 2.30 pm the first prize winner will be announced as the STAR IS BORN. HE WINS A TRIP TO MONTENEGRO. There are nine other consolation prizes.

“The aim of this competition, under the office of the Honorary Consul General, is to educate and enhance cultural relations between India and Montenegro. The purpose is to choose the upcoming artists and create a star,” informed Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios &  Chair for Indo Montenegro Film And Cultural Forum.

Madam Lidija Djukanovic the spouse of His Excellency the President of Montenegro, Mr. Milo Djukanovic has kindly consented to be the Chief Guest from Montenegro. New Delhi: The International Day of Happiness is an annual event organised by the United Nations to promote the idea that feeling happy is a global human right. ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry  supports and organises the day in association with Marwah Studios, AAFT-Asian Academy of Film And Television and WPDRF- World Peace Development And Research Foundation.

 Many of the world’s leading religions and philosophies promote positive emotions as vital for the well-being of mankind. However, the idea of having a dedicated day of observance for the concept is relatively new.

“The theme for this year’s International Day of Happiness is ‘Keep Calm. Stay Wise. Be Kind’ and is in response to the COVID pandemic. As we face an ongoing global crisis together, this year’s International Day of Happiness is a chance to find uplifting and positive ways to look after ourselves – and one another,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and ICMEI.

World Water Day Celebrated at ICMEI International Headquarters

New Delhi: World Water Day is held annually on 22 March as a means of focusing attention on the importance of freshwater and advocating for the sustainable management of freshwater resources. This Day is an opportunity to learn more about water related issues, be inspired to tell others and take action to make a difference.

“Water is an essential building block of life. It is more than just essential to quench thirst or protect health; water is vital for creating jobs and supporting economic, social, and human development,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and World Peace Development And Research Foundation in a program organised by International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry. 

The theme of World Water Day 2021 is valuing water. The value of water is about much more than its price – water has enormous and complex value for our households, food, culture, health, education, economics and the integrity of our natural environment.

“If we overlook any of these values, we risk mismanaging this finite, irreplaceable resource. Sustainable Development Goal is to ensure water and sanitation for all. Without a comprehensive understanding of water’s true, multidimensional value, we will be unable to safeguard this critical resource for the benefit of everyone,” warned Marwah.

AAFTians at Nowruz Organised by Embassy of Afghanistan


New Delhi: Nowruz, meaning “new day”, is an ancestral festivity marking the first day of spring and the renewal of nature. It includes rituals, ceremonies and cultural events, as well as the enjoyment of a special meal with loved ones. New clothes are worn, visits are made to family and friends, and gifts, especially for children, are exchanged.

“Celebrated for over 3000 years in the Balkans, the Black Sea Basin, the Caucasus, Central Asia, the Middle East and other regions, it promotes values of peace and solidarity between generations and within families as well as reconciliation and neighbourliness,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry and AAFT appreciating the presentation of AAFTians in fashion show and musical performances on the occasion of celebration of Nowruz by Afghanistan Embassy at Srifort Auditorium.

As it contributes to cultural diversity and friendship among peoples and different communities, Nowruz fits closely with WPDRF- World Peace Development And Research Foundation mandate.

Nowruz was inscribed as an element in 2009, and extended in 2016, on the Representative List of the intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity  at the joint initiative of Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, India, Islamic Republic of Iran, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.

International Solidarity Day Celebrated at AAFT

Noida: The General Assembly, on 22 December 2005, identified solidarity as one of the fundamental and universal values that should underlie relations between peoples in the twenty-first century, and in that regard decided to proclaim 20 December of each year International Human Solidarity Day. 

The concept of solidarity has defined the work of the United Nations since the birth of the Organization. The creation of the United Nations drew the peoples and nations of the world together to promote peace, human rights and social and economic development.

“International Human Solidarity Day is: a day to celebrate our unity in diversity; a day to remind governments to respect their commitments to international agreements; a day to raise public awareness of the importance of solidarity; a day to encourage debate on the ways to promote solidarity for the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals including poverty eradication and it is a day of action to encourage new initiatives for poverty eradication,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University of Media And Arts while talking to the media students of the University.

“It is in the spirit of solidarity that the Organization relies on “cooperation in solving international problems of an economic, social, cultural or humanitarian character” as well,” added Dr. Marwah who is also Chair for World Peace Development And Research Foundation. The event was supported by ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry and IJC-International Journalism Centre.
