Dr. Sandeep Marwah Extends Greetings on the Independence Day of Montenegro

New Delhi, India – May 21: Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) and Chair of the Indo Montenegro Film and Cultural Forum, extended his warm congratulations and best wishes to Mr. Janis Darbari, Honorary Consul of Montenegro in the Republic of India, and to the people of Montenegro on the auspicious occasion of the Independence Day of Montenegro, celebrated annually on 21st May.

While conveying his greetings, Dr. Marwah highlighted the strong and growing relationship between India and Montenegro, particularly in the fields of culture, media, tourism, education, and people-to-people exchanges.

“On behalf of ICMEI and the Indo Montenegro Film and Cultural Forum, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the Government and people of Montenegro on their Independence Day. This important national occasion symbolizes the spirit of freedom, sovereignty, progress, and national pride. We wish Montenegro continued peace, prosperity, and success in all its future endeavors,” said Dr. Marwah.

Dr. Marwah also acknowledged the valuable role played by Mr. Janis Darbari, Honorary Consul of Montenegro in India, in strengthening bilateral relations and promoting mutual understanding between the two friendly nations.

The Indo Montenegro Film and Cultural Forum, established under the aegis of ICMEI, has been actively working to enhance cultural diplomacy and foster closer cooperation between India and Montenegro through film, art, media, education, and cultural exchange programs.

The message concluded with a reaffirmation of commitment towards further strengthening the bonds of friendship and cooperation between India and Montenegro in the years to come.

AAFT Creates Another Record with 122nd Festival of Short Digital Films

Noida, India: AAFT’s Film and Television Department proudly celebrated its 122nd Edition of the Festival of Short Digital Films at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida. This remarkable achievement further solidifies AAFT’s position as a global leader in promoting creative talent and innovative storytelling.

The prestigious event was inaugurated by an eminent panel of dignitaries, including H.E. Jason Hall, High Commissioner of Jamaica to India, Janice Darbari, Consul General of Montenegro to India, Navin K Jaggi, Senior Supreme Court Lawyer, Joyshree Arora, celebrated actress, Sujaya Krishnan, former Joint Secretary, Government of India, Shahnaz Zusufzai, former DDG, Doordarshan, Sanjay Khanduri, award-winning director, and Nishant Katyal, renowned brand builder.

Speaking with unparalleled enthusiasm, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Founder of AAFT, remarked: “We have created history. This is the only festival in the world to reach 122 editions, held four times a year, providing a golden platform for 3,500 directors and 15,000 technicians from over 100 countries to showcase their debut films. This is a testament to the power of creative collaboration and the global reach of AAFT.”

A large audience from across India and abroad gathered to celebrate this momentous occasion. H.E. Jason Hall, High Commissioner of Jamaica to India, lauded the festival’s global impact. Janice Darbari, Consul General of Montenegro, praised the festival for its unique and inclusive approach. Navin K Jaggi, Senior Supreme Court Lawyer, honored Dr. Marwah as the biggest showman of India since Raj Kapoor. Joyshree Arora, acclaimed actress from Chak De IndiaHum Log, and Buniyaad, hailed AAFT as the pride of India, nurturing the largest number of celebrities in the country.

Sujaya Krishnan, former Joint Secretary, Government of India, expressed her admiration, calling Marwah Studios an “infectiously vibrant” space of creativity. Shahnaz Zusufzai, former DDG, Doordarshan, highlighted the Media and Entertainment Industry’s pride in Dr. Marwah’s achievements. Sanjay Khanduri, award-winning director, voiced his desire to collaborate with Marwah Studios. Nishant Katyal, brand strategist, emphasized the international stature of AAFT and Marwah Studios.

The festival showcased 10 ground-breaking films, including experimental works on Artificial Intelligence, showcasing the evolving landscape of digital filmmaking. The event also honored dignitaries with life memberships in the prestigious International Film and Television Club (IFTC) of AAFT.

Noida: The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) in association with the Indo Montenegro Film and Cultural Forum celebrated the Independence Day of Montenegro at their Global Headquarters in Noida. The event was marked by a vibrant display of cultural exchange and mutual respect between India and Montenegro.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of ICMEI and Chair for the Indo Montenegro Film and Cultural Forum, extended his heartfelt congratulations to Janice Darbari, Consul General of Montenegro to India, and to the people of Montenegro. “On behalf of ICMEI and the entire art and culture fraternity of India, I extend my heartiest congratulations to Janice Darbari and the people of Montenegro on the auspicious occasion of their Independence Day.  Indo Montenegro Film And Cultural Forum under the Chairman ship of Dr. Sandeep Marwah has picked up quite well and large number of activities have been designed to include dance, music, talks, tourism road show, Scholarship of AAFT and film festival.

Recently a painting competition was organized within the school children, where the response was too good. It has created a wonderful awareness about the country of Montenegro within the young crowd of India. The final award function was inaugurated by Madam Lidija Djukanovic the spouse of His Excellency the President of Montenegro. The event was attended by large number of dignities from different parts of the World.

Amidst the Coronavirus a day of joy and colour was celebrated online event namely the Grand Finale of the Poster Painting Competition. Dr Janice Darbari The Honorary Consul General of Montenegro in India brought life and colour into the homes of Millions as all the Schools Students teachers judges celebrated the winners.

The First Lady of Montenegro Lidija Djukanovic message from Montenegro made a memorable day for all those who watched and participated. Followed by messages from the First Lady of India Savita Kovind, Union Minister H.S. Puri, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal were read by the coordinator of the program Raj Darbari. Director General ICCR Dinesh Patnaik, Rashmi Singh IAS and Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina Muhamed Cengic also spoke on the occasion.

Gordana Tomasevic Director Fine Arts High School, H.E. Mirshad Bibovic Director of Diplomatic Academy Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro,  Igor Rakcevic President of the Association of Visual Artist of Montenegro, Perter Kovacevic Senior Advisor for Development of Creative Industries, Ministry of Science, Culture and Sports Montenegro also participated in the event.

The Celebrity judges and Keynote speakers film makers Prem Sagar & Umesh Mehra, an art collector Jayapalashri Anil,  Binoy Bhel, Maj General Bindra, Rev Phyllis Williams from USA ,Rika & Resh from UK, Seyer Marazada from Azerbaijan  congratulated the organizers and winners including the topper  Annesh Gupta from Goodley Public School

Muskan Mittal from Modern Public School, Himanshi from CRPF School, Vaishnavi Dhingra Darshan Academy, Rishabh Khandelwal of Leelawati Vidya Mandir, Tripti Sharma of Vishal Bharti School, Deekhsha Sagar from DLDAV School, Priyam Jain of The Srijan School, Hiten Malhotra from DAV Rohini and  Anushka from Mount Abu School were the other winners of the art competition.

Indo Montenegro Poster Painting Competition on Friendship and Tourism


An Event to Highlight Indo Montenegro Relations


New Delhi: Dr. Janice Darbari the Honorary Consul General of Montenegro in India, organized the Poster painting Competition on FRIENDSHIP AND TOURISM with the schools of Delhi. Students aged 14 to 16 participated. More than  80 schools entered this competition. Out of 516 paintings, 39 paintings made it to the final round.

On the 17th April 2021 at 2.30 pm the first prize winner will be announced as the STAR IS BORN. HE WINS A TRIP TO MONTENEGRO. There are nine other consolation prizes.

“The aim of this competition, under the office of the Honorary Consul General, is to educate and enhance cultural relations between India and Montenegro. The purpose is to choose the upcoming artists and create a star,” informed Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios &  Chair for Indo Montenegro Film And Cultural Forum.

Madam Lidija Djukanovic the spouse of His Excellency the President of Montenegro, Mr. Milo Djukanovic has kindly consented to be the Chief Guest from Montenegro. The Director-General of the Indian Council of Cultural relations will also be present online with a galaxy of eminent celebrities from the Art and film world of Bollywood. On behalf of the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India Subrata Bhattacharjee Joint Secretary and the United Nations resident coordinator in India H.E. Mr. Yuri Afanasiev with a galaxy of foreign diplomats, High Commissioners and Ambassadors and eminent personalities in India supported this noble venture by becoming Judges for these beautiful paintings.
