9th Global Fashion and Design Week Noida 2025: Day Two Dazzles with International Flair and Innovation

Noida, 30th May 2025 – The second day of the 9th Global Fashion and Design Week Noida 2025, held at Marwah Studios, Noida Film City, showcased an extraordinary blend of global fashion narratives, stunning creativity, and cultural richness. The major second show of the day was met with an enthusiastic response from an audience drawn from across India and abroad, reinforcing the festival’s global reputation and cultural inclusivity.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts and President of ICMEI, opened the show with insightful reflections on fashion’s power to transcend borders and express diverse cultural identities. “Fashion is the mirror of society and a creative expression of traditions and innovations across the globe,” said Dr. Marwah.

The day was graced by distinguished personalities from the world of fashion, film, lifestyle, and retail, including: Payal Jain, Renowned Fashion Designer, Ria Banerjee, Prominent Content Creator, Neeru Khera, Esteemed Filmmaker, Nikita Yadav, Safety Ambassador for Animal Welfare & Protection ,Yana Karmakar, Lifestyle Designer & Founder of YK, Bharat Bhatia, Head of Sourcing, V-MART Retail Ltd, Karan Gupta, Representative of Khubani Restaurant, and Seema Kukreja, General Manager, BBG

Key Highlights of Day two were Coffee Table Book Launches including “Timeless Threads” by Khushi Bhardwaj and  “Celebrity Styling” by Prisha Chandna. a release of Fashion Bulletin: “Fashion Fiesta – Day 2”, curated by the talented students of AAFT School of Journalism.

Design students at AAFT School of Fashion Design presented a magnificent lineup of garments inspired by various countries, blending traditional elements with contemporary trends: Iceland: Presented by Thochuiwon Angkang Shimrey and Shreya in stunning fusion wear. Spain: Interpreted by Supriya Kumar with a lively line of casual wear. Israel: Fusion designs by Shivani Tomar captivated with bold interpretations. BelarusLipakshi and Khushi Gupta highlighted Belarusian influences in their casual wear collection. VietnamRhea Joshi impressed with her fusion wear reflecting Vietnamese creativity. KyrgyzstanGarima Sharma and Simran Pundir designed a compelling range of fusion outfits. Montenegro: Party wear collections from Khushi JaiswalAntara Ghosh, and Juhi Kumari shone with elegance. South KoreaAnanya Gupta delivered a dynamic take on Korean fashion through fusion wear.

The event continues to promote cross-cultural appreciation and creativity, with AAFT providing a global platform for emerging talent. The second day reaffirmed the festival’s commitment to celebrating design diversity and advancing the global fashion narrative.

Great Grand Opening of 10th Global Festival of Journalism Noida 2022


Webinar on National and International Integration Through Journalism

New Delhi: “The purpose of creating International Journalism Centre is to bring love peace and Unity through Journalism. We have always believed in constructive journalism, and this is what we have been propagating from last so many years,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios, International Journalism Centre at the grand opening of the 10th Global festival of Journalism Noida 2022 online.

“The responsibility of the journalism has grown much larger than even before. The words do matter, the national and international integration do effect by what you write. You have to be truthful to your profession. Correct reporting is necessary and required,” said Lt. Gen. K.M. Seth former Governor of Chhattisgarh in his inaugural speech.

“Journalism is the most powerful tool of communication. It is the double edge sword sharp from both the sides. It can nature the feeling of love and if wrongly used can create feeling of hatred, depends how it is presented. One has to be accountable of his words,” said H.E. Hayet Talbi Ambassador of Tunisia to India giving different examples.

“Writing has a very powerful effect. Journalist gets the opportunity to investigate the truth and can write well to bring in peace to the nation. The power of the pen makes the person so important. The media controls the society and is capable of changing human behaviour, living style and moral thoughts,” said Janice Darbari Honorary Consul General of Montenegro.

“Things have become so easy for a common man as far as presentation is concerned, he has started considering himself also a journalist, there is a need to propagate the ways and means to the same thing. Education is must before getting into the profession,” said V.M. Bansal Chairman New Delhi Institute of Management.

“The mass media are today seen as playing a key role in enhancing globalization, and facilitating cultural exchange and multiple flows of information and images between countries through international news broadcasts, television programming, new technologies, education, film, and music. ICMEI is a great example of its own,” said Rudra Dasgupta Business Consultant from Dubai, UAE.

“The fourth pillar has taken a big lead. Content is very important. Not the opinion but the reality must be informed to reader. We need to restructure the education & training of journalism seriously,” said Mohit Soni CEO Media & Entertainment Skill Council.

“Journalism should be like science, must verify the facts. It is the rough draft before writing the history. Journalism must promote international integration to its best,” said Dr. Shama Hussain Founder International Institute of Influencers from Oman, Muscat.

A  powerful exhibition of still photography was inaugurated  by the students of AAFT University Raipur followed by a poster release on Bhagat Singh to respect the feeling of patriotism and Sushil Bharti  festival Director spoke about him. Ashok Tyagi Secretary ICMEI proposed vote of thanks. The event was conducted by Dr. Shikha Verma Kashyap Director AAFT University.

Indo Montenegro Poster Painting Competition on Friendship and Tourism


An Event to Highlight Indo Montenegro Relations


New Delhi: Dr. Janice Darbari the Honorary Consul General of Montenegro in India, organized the Poster painting Competition on FRIENDSHIP AND TOURISM with the schools of Delhi. Students aged 14 to 16 participated. More than  80 schools entered this competition. Out of 516 paintings, 39 paintings made it to the final round.

On the 17th April 2021 at 2.30 pm the first prize winner will be announced as the STAR IS BORN. HE WINS A TRIP TO MONTENEGRO. There are nine other consolation prizes.

“The aim of this competition, under the office of the Honorary Consul General, is to educate and enhance cultural relations between India and Montenegro. The purpose is to choose the upcoming artists and create a star,” informed Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios &  Chair for Indo Montenegro Film And Cultural Forum.

Madam Lidija Djukanovic the spouse of His Excellency the President of Montenegro, Mr. Milo Djukanovic has kindly consented to be the Chief Guest from Montenegro. The Director-General of the Indian Council of Cultural relations will also be present online with a galaxy of eminent celebrities from the Art and film world of Bollywood. On behalf of the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India Subrata Bhattacharjee Joint Secretary and the United Nations resident coordinator in India H.E. Mr. Yuri Afanasiev with a galaxy of foreign diplomats, High Commissioners and Ambassadors and eminent personalities in India supported this noble venture by becoming Judges for these beautiful paintings.
