9th Global Fashion and Design Week Noida 2025: Day Two Dazzles with International Flair and Innovation

Noida, 30th May 2025 – The second day of the 9th Global Fashion and Design Week Noida 2025, held at Marwah Studios, Noida Film City, showcased an extraordinary blend of global fashion narratives, stunning creativity, and cultural richness. The major second show of the day was met with an enthusiastic response from an audience drawn from across India and abroad, reinforcing the festival’s global reputation and cultural inclusivity.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts and President of ICMEI, opened the show with insightful reflections on fashion’s power to transcend borders and express diverse cultural identities. “Fashion is the mirror of society and a creative expression of traditions and innovations across the globe,” said Dr. Marwah.

The day was graced by distinguished personalities from the world of fashion, film, lifestyle, and retail, including: Payal Jain, Renowned Fashion Designer, Ria Banerjee, Prominent Content Creator, Neeru Khera, Esteemed Filmmaker, Nikita Yadav, Safety Ambassador for Animal Welfare & Protection ,Yana Karmakar, Lifestyle Designer & Founder of YK, Bharat Bhatia, Head of Sourcing, V-MART Retail Ltd, Karan Gupta, Representative of Khubani Restaurant, and Seema Kukreja, General Manager, BBG

Key Highlights of Day two were Coffee Table Book Launches including “Timeless Threads” by Khushi Bhardwaj and  “Celebrity Styling” by Prisha Chandna. a release of Fashion Bulletin: “Fashion Fiesta – Day 2”, curated by the talented students of AAFT School of Journalism.

Design students at AAFT School of Fashion Design presented a magnificent lineup of garments inspired by various countries, blending traditional elements with contemporary trends: Iceland: Presented by Thochuiwon Angkang Shimrey and Shreya in stunning fusion wear. Spain: Interpreted by Supriya Kumar with a lively line of casual wear. Israel: Fusion designs by Shivani Tomar captivated with bold interpretations. BelarusLipakshi and Khushi Gupta highlighted Belarusian influences in their casual wear collection. VietnamRhea Joshi impressed with her fusion wear reflecting Vietnamese creativity. KyrgyzstanGarima Sharma and Simran Pundir designed a compelling range of fusion outfits. Montenegro: Party wear collections from Khushi JaiswalAntara Ghosh, and Juhi Kumari shone with elegance. South KoreaAnanya Gupta delivered a dynamic take on Korean fashion through fusion wear.

The event continues to promote cross-cultural appreciation and creativity, with AAFT providing a global platform for emerging talent. The second day reaffirmed the festival’s commitment to celebrating design diversity and advancing the global fashion narrative.

Diplomatic and Literary Convergence: Book on Kyrgyzstan Released in Delhi

New Delhi, India – April 6, 2024 – A momentous occasion unfolded at Hotel Marina as distinguished diplomats and literary figures converged for the release of a captivating book on Kyrgyzstan. Hosted by Dr. Rashmi Saluja of Global Trade and Technology Council of India, the event witnessed the unveiling of a comprehensive guide to Kyrgyzstan’s tourism, authored by His Excellency Askar Beshimov, Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan, and Gaurav Gupta of GTTCI.

New Delhi: Photographs are the everlasting memories. One picture is 1000 words. Photography is a way of feeling, way of touching and way of loving. The best part is that they are loyal to you as they don’t change ever though the person or the place you had clicked can change drastically,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios at the inauguration of photography exhibition on the second day of 7th Global Literary Festival Noida 202.

“I have been in photography for many years. It is my hobby and I do spare time from my work to click pictures. When you click they are ordinary when you see them they look rare. Photography is an art of observation. It is about finding something interesting in an ordinary place,” said H.E. Muhamed Cengic Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to India while explaining his pieces of art.

“I love photographs. I enjoy finding out the depth in every picture clicked and hanged    at exhibition. These pictures are out of the World. Photographs are the base of every creative work,” said K.L.Ganju Honorary Consul General of Comoros in India.

“Photography for me is not looking, it’s feeling. If you can’t feel what you’re looking at, then you’re never going to get others to feel anything when they look at your pictures,” added Arijit  Bhattacharya Serial Entrepreneur Angel investor and founder World Leader Summit.

“Taking an image, freezing a moment, reveals how rich reality truly is expressed spoken by Aigerim Zhakypbekova Attache (Cosul) Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in India appreciating every picture of Muhamed Cengic.

13th Global Film Festival Noida Brought Relief in Pandemic

Noida: 13th Global Film Festival Noida 2020 has brought not only an excitement for the film enthusiasts, but it is a relief and medicine to mind in this corona virus period. Once gain the team of Marwah Studios and ICMEI along with AAFT University created a through entertainment for the global cinema devotees for three days from 26th to 28th November online.

“We are happy to announce the opening of this three-day extravaganza of cinema for the Global Cinema lovers and hope that everyone will enjoy the coming programs from today onwards. Cinema Movies and magic are very closely associated, and film makers are the magicians. Cinema can fill the empty spaces of your life and loneliness. I welcome each and every one, who like & love cinema, to this festival. This is the first time GFFN is online,” initiated Sandeep Marwah President of the Festival

Chief guest of the day H.E. Asein Isaev Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan congratulated the whole team for taking efforts in pandemic to entertain the masses already suffered all over the World. He mentioned the relation between India and Kyrgyzstan and the especially the sincere roleplayed by Indo Kyrgyzstan film And Cultural Forum. He invited filmmakers to shoot in Kyrgyzstan. “The World is changed by your action and not by opinion, and film makers are the ones who believe in the same theory,” said H.E. Asein Isaev.

“I am addicted to the programs of ICMEI. Every program is different, and the range is so big that you are bound to be attracted the show. Dr. Sandeep Marwah is the biggest Global showman. He is the real entertainer. These kind of events bring the whole world together, I wish festival a very large audience and success,” added K.L.Ganju Consul General of Comoros in India.

“When people leave the theatre, they remember a line, a character, a sequence and the emotion along with entertainment, this is the impact of cinema,” said Dr. Sargei Fandeev Director Russian Centre for Science and Culture.

“The language of cinema is emotions. This is the best way to unite people, be it in India or USA. I am amazed by the energy of Marwah in uniting the  world through cinema. I am the biggest supporter of his vision,” said Mike Berry film Maker from USA.

Film Maker and Alumnus AAFT Rajesh Bajaj, Luxury Consultant and Director International Children’s Film Forum Madhavi Advani, Film Maker and Alumna AAFT Lavlin Thadani, renowned Cinematographer Uday Shankar Pani also spoke on love, peace and unity through Cinema. The program was conducted by AAFT Director Albeena Abbas and Festival Director Ashok Tyagi paid vote of thanks.

India and Kyrgyzstan Will Promote Relations Through Education


AAFT University India and Al Too  University Kyrgyzstan Signed MOU 

 

Busan:  A MOU was signed between AAFT University of Media And Arts, India and Ala Too International University Kyrgyzstan at The World Education Leaders Forum during World Cultural Camp at Busan, South Korea. Both the institutions will promote art and culture through different events and educational programs.

 

“In order to strengthen its position on market of education, the university is working on the opening of new educational programs that are in demand in the new information and competitive job market. We carry out the exchange programs for students and teaching staff in different programs, Such programs would allow students and teachers an opportunity to continue their studies for 1-2 semesters at various universities and to share their experiences.,” said Sanzharbek Erdolatov President Ala Too International University, Kyrgyzstan.

 

“AAFT (Noida & Raipur) has touched 145 countries of the World. We are open for all sorts of exchange programs in our specialized courses related to glamour business. The education and training is directly correlated to the industry. Our alumni is doing very well all over the World, that has given us a status of first ten best film schools of the World,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor AAFT University of Media And Arts while signing the MOU. ICMEI Celebrated National Day of Kyrgyzstan 2020

New Delhi: “I on behalf of ICMEI and the complete media and entertainment industry of India extend my heartiest congratulations to H.E. Aaein Isaev Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan and the people of Kyrgyzstan on he National Day falls on 31st August,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry here in New Delhi.

 

Not long ago an organization was launched under the title Indo Kyrgyzstan Film And Cultural Forum by ICMEI in association with Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in India to promote and develop relation between two countries. Dr. Sandeep Marwah was nominated as the Chair of the association and H.E. Aaein Isaev is the Patron for the same.

 

Political ties with the Kyrgyz Republic have been traditionally warm and friendly. The Kyrgyz leaderships have been largely supportive of India's stand on Kashmir and have welcomed the ongoing peace process. Kyrgyzstan also supports India's bid for a permanent seat at the United Nations Security Council and India's full membership in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

Sandeep Marwah Nominated Chair For Indo Kyrgyzstan cultural Forum




New Delhi: Popular Film and media personality, educationist and social worker Dr. Sandeep Marwah has been given the status of Chair for Indo Kyrgyzstan Film And Cultural Forum in a grand function by H.E. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to India at Hotel Eros.

“We recommend the name of Sandeep Marwah as he has been in Cultural Diplomacy for more than three decades. We need his expertize and support to develop better relations with Kyrgyzstan,” said Charu Das of CD Foundation.

“We are very happy to nominate a well known international media personality as Chair for our Indo Kyrgyzstan Forum. We will work together for better relations through art and culture,” said H.E. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to India.

I am thankful to the Government of Kyrgyzstan for giving me this beautiful responsibility to develop and promote relation between the people of two countries,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah accepting the memento.

Sandeep Marwah is seven times World Record Holder in media. He is the founder of Noida Film City, Marwah Studios, AAFT University and many national and international organizations.

New Delhi: H.E. Asein Isaev Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to India now Patron to newly framed Indo Kyrgyzstan Film And Cultural Forum created by ICMEI-International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry and Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in New Delhi.

“The Forum has the experienced guide and patron to proceed further in developing people to people relation between India and Kyrgyzstan. We will be able to work better under the guidance of H.E. Asein Isaev Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to India,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

Asein Isaev graduated from the Ural State University and the Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov, Ph.D. The diplomatic rank of an Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic was assigned to him in 2016 by the decree of the President Almazbek Atambayev.

He began his career as a teacher in 1986 at the Osh State Pedagogical Institute; 1994-1995 he joined as Attaché, promoted to Third Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic; in 1995-1998 he worked as Second Secretary and First Secretary of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Kazakhstan; In1998 he was head of the consular agency at Manas airport; and in 1999 First Secretary of the CIS Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and  1999-2001 he was Assistant Administrator to the Presidential Press Service.

2001-2002  he was head of the Department of International Security, Strategic and Legal Problems of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; 2002-2005 he was promoted as Counselor at the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in India; 2005-2009 he was Director of the CIS Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; 2009  he was nominated as Secretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs;

Since 2015, he has been appointed an Ambassador to Belgium, the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Luxembourg, France, as well as the Permanent Representative of the Kyrgyz Republic to NATO and UNESCO. Now the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Kyrgyzstan nominated Asein Isaev for the post of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to India.

New Delhi: In a colorful and a grand function at Eros A newly constituted IKFCF- Indo Kyrgyzstan Film And Cultural Forum was announced and inaugurated by H.E. Asein Isaev Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan o India in association with ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry.

A vibrant poster of India and Kyrgyzstan flag was released to project and high “light the strong friendship of the two countries in the presence of large audience from India and Kyrgyzstan. “we have gathered here to declare open today the launching of Indo Kyrgyzstan Film And Cultural Forum to develop and promote relation between two countries,” said Charu Das of CD Foundation.

Political ties with the Kyrgyz Republic have been traditionally warm and friendly.  We need to develop relation between people to people of two countries. There is lot to offer under IKFCF. We will soon be declaring scholarship for the deserving student from Kyrgyz Republic to learn cinema in India,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI.

Both countries share common concerns on threat of terrorism, extremism and drug–trafficking. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1992, the two countries have signed several framework agreements, including on Culture, Trade and Economic Cooperation, Civil Aviation, Investment Promotion and Protection, Avoidance of Double Taxation, Consular Convention etc. We are happy that we will now work on cultural diplomacy,” said H.E. Asein Isaev.

National Day of Kyrgyzstan Celebrated at AAFT

Noida: International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry through its President Sandeep Marwah greets the people of Kyrgyzstan on their National Day that falls on 31st August.

“I on behalf of Media And Entertainment Industry of India congratulate the people of Kyrgyzstan on the National Day and wish both countries a very strong relationship for all time to come,” said Sandeep Marwah.

An Agreement on Cooperation in the spheres of culture, was recently signed during the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in July 2015 to replace the agreement on Culture, arts, education, science, mass-media and sports of 18 March 1992. In general, there is appreciation of Indian culture.

The Centre for Indian Studies set up in Osh State University in 1997 has been useful in providing an exposure to Indian culture and civilization to academicians and intelligentsia in this country.

 About 3500 Indian students are studying medicine in various medical institutions in Kyrgyzstan. A few businessmen are engaged in trade and services in Kyrgyzstan.
