Great Grand Opening of 14th Global Film Festival Noida 2021

Inauguration of 14th Global Film Festival Noida 2011 at Marwah Studios

Noida: The colourful decoration, massive gates, large posters of film makers, well dressed and enthusiastic film lovers adding spiritual energy to the event, were anxiously waiting for this international extravaganza the 14th Global Film Festival Noida 2021, to start in the campus of Marwah Studio, designed by IFTC-International Film and Television Club in association with AAFT and ICMEI-International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry.

On the occasion of thirty years of Marwah Studios we have brought today 14th edition of Global Film Festival Noida after a gap of more than a year to propagate our mission of bringing Love, Peace and Unity through art and culture. We are proud of our existence in this part of the World as now we have touched 145 countries, 7000 events, thirty lac audience under film tourism, representing 60 countries, 7 World Records and more than 1000 times honoured by the Global Media and Entertainment Industry,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Film Festival inviting and introducing all the dignities on the dice.

“AAFT is the only privileged institution in the country which is on the board of Film Federation of India an apex body of Cinema in the country. My association with Global film festival go back to the third edition, it is indeed the most vibrant festival of the country,” said T.P.Agarwal President FFI in his remarks. while lighting the ceremonial lamp

“It is beyond above my own expectations; Global Film Festival is the real excitement for film makers. There is so much to learn in three days. I am so happy to be here,” expressed Daisy Shah renowned actor famous for her role in Jai Ho, Hate Story and many others. Writer, Producer, and Director of many films Jyant Gilator wished every one associated with the festival all the best and said that the 14th edition in itself speaks about the authenticity of the festival. Not many festivals could survive that long,”.

“Every time I learn something new when I am here at Noida Film City. Every event is well designed and speaks about its specialisation. Global Festival has impressed me every time,” added HE Muhamed Cengic, Ambassador of Bosnia & Herzegovina to India. “Marwah Studios is a magical place. It is the volcano of Entertainment. I get spiritual pleasure when I am part of any event of Noida Film City. Festivals are the learning grounds for all of us,” said Cdr. K L Ganju, Hon. Consul Gen, Republic Union of Comoros in India.

“I am convinced when I saw the arrangements, how well defined is the festival though It is my first visit to Noida Film City. I am happy that Indo Fiji Cultural Forum is part of the show,” addressed HE Kamlesh Shashi Prakash, High Commissioner of Fiji to India.

The opening film from Kazakhstan today has given us a bigger and better status in the festival. We are here to give full support to Marwah Studios for the development of relation between two countries,” said HE Nurlan Zhalgasbayev, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to India. “Only last month we were here for our exclusive festival, as the curtain raiser of 14th Global Film Festival. Now we have very strong relationship with Marwah Studios,” HE Asein Isaev, Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan

“This is what is required to promote cinema, relationship, and learning through soft power. India is above many countries. This festival teaches you a lot. Soon Indo Belarus Film and Cultural Forum be launched,” said HE Andrey Rzheussky, Ambassador of Belarus to India.”It is difficult now to get this kind of marvellous environment in any festival of the World. “I am well-travelled and seen best of the festivals of the World but no festival is as energetic as Global Film Festival Noida. Every time I find unique activities at the festival. Marwah Studios is the pride of India,” said Supran Sen Secretary General of Film Federation of India.

New Delhi: India and Uzbekistan will work together in different projects including a joint venture in Cinema informed Sandeep Marwah Chair for Indo Uzbekistan Film And Cultural Forum on the arrival of delegation from Uzbekistan at PHD Chamber of Commerce.

The delegation consists of Temur Davletov Deputy Governor of Khorezm Region, Bakhtiyor Maksidov Deputy Governor of Bukhara Region, Batir Nurulloev of Samarkand region along with their respected officers of the region.  Oybek Khodjaev also the Deputy Governor of Samarkand Region was part of the commission.

Dr. D.K.Agarwal President PHD Chamber of Commerce welcomed the guest and talk about different prospects available for joint ventures with Uzbekistan. Indo Uzbekistan Cultural Forum Moves Further


New Dehi: A powerful delegation under the leadership of H.E. Teshabaev Khurram the Deputy Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Government of Uzbekistan visited India for the promotion of Business.

PHD Chamber of Commerce organized an interaction and B2B Meetings with industry leaders under the guidance of Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chairperson of Art and Cultural Committee of PHDCCI.

The nine-member delegation was representing different sector such as infrastructure, mining food processing pharmaceuticals, leather products, tourism, and textile. Over 50 B2B meetings were successfully took place.

“I extend my heartiest welcome to the delegation of Uzbekistan to India. I cannot forget the hospitality and warm welcome we were given on our visit to Tashkent last year. India and Uzbekistan are the best friends and we would see that business between two countries should grow more,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah in a welcome speech. Niraj Director PHD conducted the program. 

The member of delegation included Berdiev Nozim First Deputy Director of Agency on development of Pharmaceutical Industry, Zakhidov Mirsaid Deputy Chairman of Uzbek Leather Association, Bobokulov Bakhtiyor Deputy Chairman of Uzbek Building Materials Association, Kambarov Azmiddin Deputy Chairman of Uzbek Food Industry and Shakhriyorov Botir Deputy Governor of Bukhara region.

The others who visited India were Babakulov Rustam Head of the department of Foreign Economic Relations and Attraction of Investments of Uztextile Association, Khaidarov Khusan Deputy Head of Department of Uztrade and Parpiev Jasur Chief Specialist of the Department of Investments and Foreign Trade of Andijan region.

Large number of artists from Uzbekistan including a musical group, fashion designer and other creative people were present there to give live performances to the most elite audience of the city.

Sandeep Marwah Invited to Inaugurate Uzbekistan Culture Days In India

New Delhi: A week full of cultural activities including dance, drama, music, talks were planned by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in India to project the similarities between the culture of two countries.

A grand inauguration function was planned at Pravasi Kendra and few important people were invited to inaugurate the cultural week in the presence of august audience of 300 people from different starta of life by the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to India H.E. Farhod Arziev.

“My trip to Uzbekistan has given me a very clear picture of our relations with Uzbekistan. It was like entering into your home,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios at the   opening function. He narrated all his meetings, associations with institutions in Tashkent and progress in the relations.

Dr. Naresh Trehan heart specialist, Anil Shastri son of former Prime Minister of India Late Lal Bahadur Shastri, Manish Prabhat, Joint Secretary-Central Asian Countries Ministry of External Affairs also spoke on the occasion. The guest of honors also released the 4-volume book on Uzbek language by Professor ShahidTasleem of the JamiaMillia University. The event was followed by well-choreographed dances by Uzbek group.

Noida: Three-member media delegation from Uzbekistan visited Marwah Studios on the occasion of Birth Anniversary of Late Lal Bahadur Shastri the former Prime Minister of India to promote and develop relation between two countries.

The delegation was representing the National Television Uzbekistan, which is the most popular station in the country. Not only that they covered the grand function of celebration of 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi but also participated in the same.

In a small interview Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios narrated his visit to Uzbekistan and also what all have been done under the banner of Indo Uzbekistan Film And Cultural Forum.

“This is a very fruitful trip to India as we covered the events, Marwah studios, Sandeep Marwah, Lal Bahadur Shastri and Mahatma Gandhi Birth Anniversary and learned a lot about the activities of Marwah Studios,” said Zarrin Abdukhlik-Zade who was accompanied with senior journalist Sayora Adilkhanova and a cameraman Mahkam Odilov.

Noida: A national level tourism Summit was organized by Indo Uzbekistan Film And Cultural Forum in association with Asian Institute of Hospitality and Tourism at Marwah Studios, Noida film city.

“The purpose of the summit is to inform all the tourism industry of India about the growth of the tourism sector in Uzbekistan, our relation with the country and the recent visit of film and media delegation to Tashkent,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Chair of Indo Uzbekistan Film And Cultural Forum.

“We have very strong historical, political and economical relations with India. IUFCF – Indo Uzbekistan Cultural Forum will enhance our day-to-day dealing between people to people of two countries. Under the leadership of Sandeep Marwah we have achieved a lot in a short period of time. We are liberal in granting visa to Indians so that they can visit beautiful country Uzbekistan for better opportunities,” said H.E. Farod Arziev Ambassador of Uzbekistan to India.

A poster was launched in order to highlight the Tourism and film activities between the two countries. Ashok Tyagi, of ICMEI and Dr. Mohan of AAFT also spoke on the occasion. All the members of the delegation who visited recently were honored with the life membership of INDO Uzbekistan Film And Cultural Forum.

Sandeep Marwah honored and Presented H.E. Farod Arziev with the life membership of International Film And Television Club of Asian Academy of Film And Television in the presence of large number of professionals from film, television, media and tourism fraternity.

Marwah Studios Join Hands With Kayumov Film Tashkent


India And Uzbekistan Will Work Together For Cinema


Tashkent: The two popular film associations Marwah Studios of India and Kayumov Film of Uzbekistan joined hands to produce and present short films and feature films together in the near future.

The MOU was signed between the two production companies on the visit of Sandeep Marwah to Tashkent where he was leading a delegation of 18 media persons to Tashkent.

“We have found the counter part in Uzbekistan. A well-equipped organization with past experience can be the most helpful to you in planning and designing production in a new country. We hope that soon we will be able to start a film in Uzbekistan,” said Sandeep Marwah President ICMEI.

“It was a pleasure to visit Marwah Studios in my last trip to India. Now his visit to Tashkent has completed the circle. The goodwill of the studios is enough to join hands with them as India’s representatives,” said Saen Keen Director of Kyumov Film.

AAFT Scholarship For Student of Uzbekistan Presented

Tashkent: Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios Presented the first scholarship of AAFT-Asian Academy of Film And Television for a short term course of three months to    H.E. Fukrat Zakirov the Minister of Cinema, Art and Culture during his visit to Ministry in Tashkent.

“We are happy and pleased to hand over this scholarship to the deserving student from Uzbekistan to learn cinema at AAFT for a period of three months at Noida in India, The scholarship also includes the boarding and lodging for three months. We will be expecting the student to be the Ambassador of AAFT in Uzbekistan,” said Sandeep Marwah.

“We are excited to receive this scholarship and trust that student will learn a lot and will add to the growth of Cinema in Uzbekistan,” said Minister of Cinema Art and Culture.

Sandeep Marwah thanked Minister for organizing a high powered meeting at the     ministry and discussed many points in relations to growth of cinema, film festivals and cultural exchange between two countries.

AAFT is an International seat of learning and has been rated as the first ten best film schools of the World with six World Records to its credit in cinema and media studies.

Tashkent: The Ministry of Cinema, Art and Culture organized a special high-powered meeting at the ministry for the popular Indian film personality Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry on his visit to Tashkent in Uzbekistan.

Sandeep Marwah lead 18 member delegation to Tashkent to promote art and culture between the two countries comprising of film, television, media, art and cultural representative from New Delhi and   NCR Region for a five day trip including promotion of tourism of two countries.

Sandeep Marwah met H.E. Fukrat Zakirov the Minister of Cinema, Art and Culture and presented him with the first Scholarship of AAFT for the deserving student from Uzbekistan to learn cinema at New Delhi under short term course. Marwah also briefed Minister with all the activities of Chamber and Marwah Studios.

A film project & joint production of Feature film was discussed in length where the Government of Uzbekistan will list out soon the facilities they can provide to bring in Indian cinema to Uzbekistan. A festival of short films, a visit of film persons to Tashkent, and many other points were discussed for better relations between the two countries.

Sandeep Marwah invited the minister to India to see for himself how they are organized in Noida Film City. Tashkent:    H.E. Vinod Kumar Indian Ambassador to Uzbekistan invited renowned Indian Film and TV personality Sandeep Marwah President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry to Indian Embassy on his official visit to  Tashkent in Uzbekistan.

Sandeep Marwah briefed the Ambassador about the purpose of the visit where he expressed the desire of launching of Indo Uzbekistan Film And Cultural Forum, a student exchange program, a faculty exchange programs, the need for film festival of Indian Cinema in Tashkent and other cities and requirement of joint short films & Feature film production with Uzbekistan.

H.E. Viniod Kumar also added new ideas to the collaborations in relation to promotion of art and culture. Later Sandeep Marwah Presented his books to Ambassador. Tashkent: The councilor and Director Sipra Ghosh of Lal Bahadur Shastri Centre for Indian Culture at Tashkent invited the International Media Personality from India Sandeep Marwah on his arrival at Tashkent on his state visit to Uzbekistan.

The Director along with the Indian and Uzbek staff very well received Sandeep Marwah along with few members of his delegation at the centre.

A special program on yoga by more than 50 ladies from Uzbekistan was presented under the guidance of Yoga Guru in open garden. Then It was followed by a dance recital, Hindi Poetry Session and Hindi songs by the students of the centre.

“I am thoroughly impressed by the teaching method and the deep interest of the students in Indian language and culture. The performance of every person is perfect which shows your dedication and continuous practice,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

“Your presence has not only graced the centre but it has also motivated the current students. Not many people from cinema and media have visited the centre. Tashkent: Eighteen-member delegation comprising of film, television and media persons from different organizations of India visited Republic of Uzbekistan under the leadership of renowned media personality Sandeep Marwah on the invitation of Government of Uzbekistan.

The agenda was very clear for Sandeep Marwah as H.E. Farhod Arziev Ambassador of Uzbekistan to India earlier nominated him as the Chair for Indo Uzbekistan Film And Cultural Forum. Marwah has already entertained the high power delegation from Tashkent at Marwah Studios and also met another fifteen people delegation before leaving for Tashkent. He also attended and participated in the film festival organized by the Embassy at New Delhi.

The Minute to Minute Program was consisting of meeting with the Ministry of Cinema, Art and Culture, H.E. Vinod Kumar Ambassador of India to Uzbekistan, Film And Television And Media companies of Uzbekistan, Student exchange programs, Proposals for Film festivals, an award function at Hotel Uzbekistan and to attend networking lunches and get together by important people of the city.

The two state governments through he Embassy of Uzbekistan and the Embassy of India, both were supporting the delegation to come back with the flying colors. It was one of the most successful state visits with concrete results.

The visit has given new blood to India and Uzbekistan relations and to cultural diplomacy of India. “ I am more than satisfied with the results of our five day visit to Tashkent. We have done enough to keep ourselves busy till our next visit to Tashkent end of the year,” said Sandeep Marwah at the press conference at Tashkent International Airport.

New Delhi: Fifteen-member delegation of the Andijan region of Uzbekistan reached Delhi to discuss business with the members of business and service community at New Delhi.

Sandeep Marwah Chairperson of Indo Uzbekistan Film And Cultural Forum was invited to speak to the delegates about the activities of the forum and his departure to Tashkent same day. The Ambassador of Uzbekistan to India H.E. Farhod Arziev was also present there.

Alimjanov Ortikmirzo Chief Specialist Government of Andijan region, Ibragimov Yusufbek Deputy of Mayor Andijan City of Government, Abdullaev Elyorbek Deputy of Governor Government of Izboskan District and Ismoilov Sardorbek Specialist Investment department of Government of Andijan were part of the team.

“We have started working in the departments like Films, Television, Media, Arts and Culture, Fashion and Education with the government and private sector at Uzbekistan and hope that my visit will bring some concrete results at the end of the trip,” said Sandeep Marwah thanking Anil Khaitan and Saurab Sanyal of PHDCCI for inviting him.

Talking to the press at Hotel Hyatt, Tashkent Marwah appreciated that Uzbekistan is attracting more Indians day by day. “ I hope we will be able to bring two countries much more closer in next few years. Asian Institute of Hospitality And Tourism has added Uzbekistan into its studies  too ,” said Marwah.

Uzbekistan is a country with potential for an expanded tourism industry. Many of its Central Asian cities were main points of trade on the Silk Road, linking Eastern and Western civilizations.

Today the museums of Uzbekistan store over two million artifacts, evidence of the unique historical, cultural and spiritual life of the Central Asian peoples that have lived in the region. Uzbekistan attracts tourists with its historical, archeological, architectural and natural treasures.

Festival of Films From Uzbekistan Inaugurated


New Delhi: “It is a wonderful opportunity for me to meet some of the most important people from Uzbekistan who matters when it comes to film business.  Festivals are the best way to project your culture, I have always believed that Films are the best ambassador of culture,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios at the opening function of festival of films from Uzbekistan at Islamic Culture Centre.

“The visit of delegation has motivated us to visit Uzbekistan as early as possible. Very soon we will able to convert dreams into reality,” added Marwah thanking for the invitation received from Government.

India and Uzbekistan can develop and promote their relations through art and culture, Indo Uzbekistan Film And Cultural Forum will sure add value to the whole show. I invite Marwah to visit Tashkent and Plan Uzbekistan as film destination,” said H.E. Farhad Arzeiv Ambassador of Uzbekistan to India while inaugurating the festival.

Mrs Lola Eltaeva renowned actress, Sukhrat Viayumov Film Producer, Rizayev Shuxrat Deputy General Director, Muzaffar B Kamilov Second Secretary Information & Culture, Golib Nematov Head of Department were also present there.
