Second Day of 9th Global Fashion and Design Week Noida Was Equally Impressive

Noida, 30th May 2025 – The second day and the third show of the prestigious 9th Global Fashion and Design Week Noida 2025, held at the iconic Marwah Studios, Noida Film City, unfolded with magnificent flair, creativity, and cultural synergy. The grand spectacle reaffirmed the global significance of the event, drawing a packed audience from across India and overseas, all united by their love for fashion, art, and design.

The show was inaugurated by Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts and President of ICMEI, who in his address, emphasized the power of fashion as a universal language and a tool for cultural diplomacy. He lauded the young designers for their originality and global vision, underscoring the importance of blending tradition with innovation.

The presence of illustrious guests of honour added glamour and gravitas to the evening. The fashion showcase was a cultural mosaic, presenting garments inspired by countries across the globe: Cambodia: Haute couture collection by Perizad and Shubhi Tripathi, Malaysia: Fusion wear designed by students of AAFT Raipur, Guatemala: Vibrant fusion collections by Anam Khatoon, Anoop Bansal, Priya Kumari, and Ananya Jaiswal, Uzbekistan: Artistic fusion wear by Khusboo Rani, Afghanistan: Traditional wear masterfully crafted by Himanshi Bhati, Khushi Khan, and Muskan Bhardwaj, Germany: Evening wear collection from Babli Kumari, Nazia Parveen, and Priya Kumari, United Kingdom: High-fashion statement pieces by Mrinal Priyadarshi, Malaysia (Traditional): Elegantly designed traditional garments by Nikita Yadav , India: An opulent haute couture line by Anurag Prasad

Adding to the splendor, the event also witnessed the grand launch of two coffee table books: “Step into Style” by Ms. Sneha Kashyap “Curated” by Ms. Jyoti Sethi. Both publications capture the essence of contemporary design and serve as a tribute to the evolving landscape of global fashion.

The second day of the 9th Global Fashion and Design Week stood as a testament to cultural harmony, youthful innovation, and the boundless potential of design. With such electric energy and inspired presentations, the event continues to set a high benchmark in international fashion showcases.

Grand Opening of 7th Global Literary Festival Noida 2021

New Delhi: “The Literary festival is directly connected to culture of the country it has become more auspicious when being inaugurated on the special occasion of Hindi Diwas. I extend my heartiest congratulations to the organisers Asian Academy of Arts for their valuable addition,” said H.E. Bhagat Singh Koshyari Governor of Maharashtra while inaugurating the 7th Global Literary Festival Noida 2021 online.

The level of society can be measured with the level of literature,” said Sandeep Marwah President of   Festival and Marwah Studios while giving the description of the formation of Asian Academy of Arts and Global literature Festival.

Present on the occasion H.E.  Dilshod Akhatov Ambassador of Uzbekistan expressed the strong relationship between India and Uzbekistan. He also invited the delegates to the forth coming Tashkent International Festival.

H.E. Dr. Roger Gopaul High Commissioner of Trinidad and Tobago congratulated the organisers and thanked for the inviting Trinidad and Tobago as partners of the   event. He emphasised on the reading habits and supporting publishing of books.

Head of the Consular Affairs Embassy of Burkina Faso Coulibaly D Herve, Charter President of Lions Club Gaurav Gupta, Chairman of MSMECCI Indrajit Ghosh, and Dr. Shikha Director AAFT University also spoke on the occasion.

“This time 12 major events, 60 countries, 3 award function including Suraj Parkash Marwah Sahitya Ratan Award, Dr. Sarojni Naidu International Award for Working Women and Atal Bihari Vajpayee National Award for Promotion of Art and Culture will be presented in the next three days informed Festival Director Sushil Bharti.

Indo Uzbekistan Cultural Forum Moves Further


New Dehi: A powerful delegation under the leadership of H.E. Teshabaev Khurram the Deputy Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Government of Uzbekistan visited India for the promotion of Business.

PHD Chamber of Commerce organized an interaction and B2B Meetings with industry leaders under the guidance of Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chairperson of Art and Cultural Committee of PHDCCI.

The nine-member delegation was representing different sector such as infrastructure, mining food processing pharmaceuticals, leather products, tourism, and textile. Over 50 B2B meetings were successfully took place.

“I extend my heartiest welcome to the delegation of Uzbekistan to India. I cannot forget the hospitality and warm welcome we were given on our visit to Tashkent last year. India and Uzbekistan are the best friends and we would see that business between two countries should grow more,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah in a welcome speech. Niraj Director PHD conducted the program. 

The member of delegation included Berdiev Nozim First Deputy Director of Agency on development of Pharmaceutical Industry, Zakhidov Mirsaid Deputy Chairman of Uzbek Leather Association, Bobokulov Bakhtiyor Deputy Chairman of Uzbek Building Materials Association, Kambarov Azmiddin Deputy Chairman of Uzbek Food Industry and Shakhriyorov Botir Deputy Governor of Bukhara region.

The others who visited India were Babakulov Rustam Head of the department of Foreign Economic Relations and Attraction of Investments of Uztextile Association, Khaidarov Khusan Deputy Head of Department of Uztrade and Parpiev Jasur Chief Specialist of the Department of Investments and Foreign Trade of Andijan region.

ICMEI Scholarship For Student From Uzbekistan


Noida: ICMEI- International Chamber of Media An Entertainment Industry promised to deliver a scholarship to the deserving student from Uzbekistan under the guidance of Embassy of Uzbekistan to India.

To fulfill the requirement of the MOU of ICMEI with Embassy of Uzbekistan, a scholarship of 3 months course in Production & Direction & TV Journalism in 101th Batch of Asian Academy of Film And Television has been allotted to Khushan Rashidov. The scholarship covers the cost of the course and also the boarding and lodging for three months during the training period.

“I am over whelmed on the arrival of Khushan Rashidov, It has added to better relations of India with Uzbekistan. We will work on the new project soon,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI.

Sandeep Marwah Invited to Inaugurate Uzbekistan Culture Days In India

New Delhi: A week full of cultural activities including dance, drama, music, talks were planned by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in India to project the similarities between the culture of two countries.

A grand inauguration function was planned at Pravasi Kendra and few important people were invited to inaugurate the cultural week in the presence of august audience of 300 people from different starta of life by the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to India H.E. Farhod Arziev.

“My trip to Uzbekistan has given me a very clear picture of our relations with Uzbekistan. It was like entering into your home,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios at the   opening function. He narrated all his meetings, associations with institutions in Tashkent and progress in the relations.

Dr. Naresh Trehan heart specialist, Anil Shastri son of former Prime Minister of India Late Lal Bahadur Shastri, Manish Prabhat, Joint Secretary-Central Asian Countries Ministry of External Affairs also spoke on the occasion. The guest of honors also released the 4-volume book on Uzbek language by Professor ShahidTasleem of the JamiaMillia University. The event was followed by well-choreographed dances by Uzbek group.

Tashkent: The state visit of Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios and International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry was well covered by media of Uzbekistan and India too.

The most popular channel of the country Channel Uzbekistan National TV and Radio Company interviewed Sandeep Marwah on his last day of departure where        Marwah narrated in condensed form the whole visit to Tashkent.

“We are thankful to Tashkent Media and Indian Media for covering this state visit of 18 people in all the mediums of media especially the national television of Uzbekistan,” thanked Marwah for broadcasting Indian Film ‘Ali Baba Chalis Chor’ in the honor of visiting Indian Delegation.

ICMEI has joined hands with Uzbekistan National Television And Radio Company for  further  information and growth. Members of Uzbekistan Television showed interest in AAFT so that few   young technicians can join AAFT for further education in films and Television.

The first event which has been planned in Tashkent, is the festival of Indian films. The Embassy of India in Tashkent has promised to support the event. The Ministry of Film and Culture will also be the partner in this festival.

“We are lucky to find out the best event planners in Tashkent and soon we will plan an event in Tashkent. Film festival, a scholarship presentation, Joint production of a short film, exhibition of Arts and paintings in India and Uzbekistan are few in pipe line,” said Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI.

Noida: A national level tourism Summit was organized by Indo Uzbekistan Film And Cultural Forum in association with Asian Institute of Hospitality and Tourism at Marwah Studios, Noida film city.

“The purpose of the summit is to inform all the tourism industry of India about the growth of the tourism sector in Uzbekistan, our relation with the country and the recent visit of film and media delegation to Tashkent,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Chair of Indo Uzbekistan Film And Cultural Forum.

“We have very strong historical, political and economical relations with India. IUFCF – Indo Uzbekistan Cultural Forum will enhance our day-to-day dealing between people to people of two countries. Under the leadership of Sandeep Marwah we have achieved a lot in a short period of time. We are liberal in granting visa to Indians so that they can visit beautiful country Uzbekistan for better opportunities,” said H.E. Farod Arziev Ambassador of Uzbekistan to India.

A poster was launched in order to highlight the Tourism and film activities between the two countries. Ashok Tyagi, of ICMEI and Dr. Mohan of AAFT also spoke on the occasion. All the members of the delegation who visited recently were honored with the life membership of INDO Uzbekistan Film And Cultural Forum.

Sandeep Marwah honored and Presented H.E. Farod Arziev with the life membership of International Film And Television Club of Asian Academy of Film And Television in the presence of large number of professionals from film, television, media and tourism fraternity.
