Inauguration of 14th Global Film Festival Noida 2011 at Marwah Studios

Noida: The colourful decoration, massive gates, large posters of film makers, well dressed and enthusiastic film lovers adding spiritual energy to the event, were anxiously waiting for this international extravaganza the 14^th Global Film Festival Noida 2021, to start in the campus of Marwah Studio, designed by IFTC-International Film and Television Club in association with AAFT and ICMEI-International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry.

On the occasion of thirty years of Marwah Studios we have brought today 14th edition of Global Film Festival Noida after a gap of more than a year to propagate our mission of bringing Love, Peace and Unity through art and culture. We are proud of our existence in this part of the World as now we have touched 145 countries, 7000 events, thirty lac audience under film tourism, representing 60 countries, 7 World Records and more than 1000 times honoured by the Global Media and Entertainment Industry,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Film Festival inviting and introducing all the dignities on the dice.

“AAFT is the only privileged institution in the country which is on the board of Film Federation of India an apex body of Cinema in the country. My association with Global film festival go back to the third edition, it is indeed the most vibrant festival of the country,” said T.P.Agarwal President FFI in his remarks. while lighting the ceremonial lamp

“It is beyond above my own expectations; Global Film Festival is the real excitement for film makers. There is so much to learn in three days. I am so happy to be here,” expressed Daisy Shah renowned actor famous for her role in Jai Ho, Hate Story and many others. Writer, Producer, and Director of many films Jyant Gilator wished every one associated with the festival all the best and said that the 14^th edition in itself speaks about the authenticity of the festival. Not many festivals could survive that long,”.

“Every time I learn something new when I am here at Noida Film City. Every event is well designed and speaks about its specialisation. Global Festival has impressed me every time,” added HE Muhamed Cengic, Ambassador of Bosnia & Herzegovina to India. “Marwah Studios is a magical place. It is the volcano of Entertainment. I get spiritual pleasure when I am part of any event of Noida Film City. Festivals are the learning grounds for all of us,” said Cdr. K L Ganju, Hon. Consul Gen, Republic Union of Comoros in India.

“I am convinced when I saw the arrangements, how well defined is the festival though It is my first visit to Noida Film City. I am happy that Indo Fiji Cultural Forum is part of the show,” addressed HE Kamlesh Shashi Prakash, High Commissioner of Fiji to India.

The opening film from Kazakhstan today has given us a bigger and better status in the festival. We are here to give full support to Marwah Studios for the development of relation between two countries,” said HE Nurlan Zhalgasbayev, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to India. “Only last month we were here for our exclusive festival, as the curtain raiser of 14^th Global Film Festival. “This is what is required to promote cinema, relationship, and learning through soft power. India is above many countries. This festival teaches you a lot. Soon Indo Belarus Film and Cultural Forum be launched,” said HE Andrey Rzheussky, Ambassador of Belarus to India.”It is difficult now to get this kind of marvellous environment in any festival of the World. I wish all the success to the organisers,” said HE Lucmon Bobokalazoda Ambassador of Tajikistan to India.

“I am well-travelled and seen best of the festivals of the World but no festival is as energetic as Global Film Festival Noida. Every time I find unique activities at the festival. Marwah Studios is the pride of India,” said Supran Sen Secretary General of Film Federation of India.

The jam-packed auditorium was overwhelmed with the words of dignities and stars. People from all over India and abroad appreciated the different international movements initiated by ICMEI. Ashok Tyagi Festival Director proposed vote of thanks.

UNESCO is committed to spearhead international efforts to draw on the vast potential of Africa’s cultural and natural heritage as a force for poverty reduction and social cohesion as well as a driver of sustainable development and innovation.

“As the world enters a second year of this devastating pandemic, engaging with our cultural and natural heritage remains crucial for humanity. This engagement helps us to be more connected, more resilient, more able to protect the legacy of the past and hand it down to future generations. African World Heritage, which we celebrate every year on this day, is essential in this respect – not only for the people of Africa, but for all of humankind. ” Sandeep Marwah President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry read the message of Audrey Azoulay, Director-General, on the occasion of African World Heritage Day during the event designed at Noida Film City.

New Delhi: 4^th Hindi Cinema Samman Samaroh was most successfully conducted online this year. This prestigious event of the Hindi Film Industry takes place annually at Vigyan Bhavan to honour the Hindi Film Industry and Its associates with National Awards for  promoting & popularising the Hindi Cinema and National language Hindi. It is an award for bringing love, peace and unity through art and culture.

Hindi Cinema Sangrakshak Award was presented to K.L.Ganju Consul General of Comoros in  India by Hindi Cinema Samman Samiti on the third and final day of 13th Global Film Festival Noida 2020. The Hindi Cinema Samman Samiti is initiated and promoted by ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry, the only dedicated chamber of media and entertainment industry.

Hindi Cinema Samman Samiti is chaired by veteran actor and former Union Minister of Government of India Shatrughan Sinha and comprising of  T.P. Aggarwal President IMPPA- Indian Motion Picture Producers Association, Rahul Rawail Eminent Director and erstwhile Chairman of the National Awards Jury, Shyam Shroff Eminent Distributor and Exhibitor,  Komal Nahta Eminent Trade Journalist and Telecaster,  B.N.Tiwari President of the apex body of Cine Workers FWICE- Federation of Western India Cine Employees and Sandeep Marwah President ICMEI-International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry.

Noida: We are thankful to K.L.Ganju to accept the Patronship of the first and newly constituted Indo Comoros Cultural Forum at International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry on this beautiful occasion of 12^th International Festival of Cellphone Cinema at Noida Film City,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

“This is my first event after General body meeting of honorary consular corps Diplomatique – India (HCCD-I) which has elected me as the President of the corps for a term of three years. I am pleased to be the part of ICMEI and Patron to Indo Comoros Cultural Forum,” said H.E. K.L.Ganju while accepting the memento of Patronship in a grand function celebrated to inaugurate 12^th International Festival of Cellphone Cinema.

Mr. K.L. Ganju was appointed Consul General (Hony.) of the Republic of Union of the Comoros. After Government Of India Notified his appointment through a Gazette Notification on 10th January, 2005, he assumed charge of the Consul General (Hony.) and became member of the (Hony). Consular Corps Diplomatique- India (HCCD – I ).

He was sponsored by HCCD – I to represent Indian Consuls in World Federation of Consuls (FICAC). He was elected to the Board of Directors of the World Federation of Consuls (FICAC) in 2006 at Montego Bay (Jamaica) with 2nd highest Number of votes. He was re-elected to the Board of Directors in 2009 at Izmir (Turkey) and at MONACO in 2012,

 Mr. Ganju was appointed Chairman of the Consular Privileges Protection Committee of the World Federation of Consuls (FICAC). He was also appointed Chairman of the FICAC 30th Anniversary Celebration Committee. Mr. K.L. Ganju also became Secretary General of the HCCD – India.

“I am impressed by the amount of work Dr. Sandeep Marwah has so far done in the field of Art and Culture. I have never seen any one with these kind of distinctions. Not only that he is a World Record Holder in Media but he is a real philanthropist and humanitarian,” said H.E. K.L.Ganju while handing over the chairmanship to Marwah in the presence of large gathering at Noida Film City.

“I am humbled and with great honor accept the chairmanship of Indo Comoros Cultural Forum. It is my privilege to serve for the promotion of relations between two countries. We have a lot to offer to this friendship,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah accepting the memento.

The Indo Comoros Cultural forum was launched earlier in the function to celebrate the 12^th International Festival of Cellphone Cinema designed by Asian Academy of Film And Television.
