Africa World Heritage Day Celebrated at ICMEI

New Delhi: Since the proclamation of African World Heritage Day in 2015 by the 38th session of the General Conference of UNESCO, every 5 May, African cultural and natural, tangible and intangible heritage is celebrated across the globe, raising awareness of the benefits of its promotion and preservation, as well as the related challenges the continent faces,” informed Sandeep Marwah President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry and Patron to many African Organizations.

UNESCO is committed to spearhead international efforts to draw on the vast potential of Africa’s cultural and natural heritage as a force for poverty reduction and social cohesion as well as a driver of sustainable development and innovation.

“As the world enters a second year of this devastating pandemic, engaging with our cultural and natural heritage remains crucial for humanity. This engagement helps us to be more connected, more resilient, more able to protect the legacy of the past and hand it down to future generations. African World Heritage, which we celebrate every year on this day, is essential in this respect – not only for the people of Africa, but for all of humankind. ” Sandeep Marwah President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry read the message of Audrey Azoulay, Director-General, on the occasion of African World Heritage Day during the event designed at Noida Film City.

The event was supported by Indo Nigerian Film And Cultural Forum, Indo South Africa, Indo Lesotho, Indo Gambia, Indo Gabon, Indo Ghana, Indo Sudan, Indo Egypt, Indo Tunisia, Indo Rwanda, Indo Senegal, Indo Malawi, Indo Ethiopia, Indo Zimbabwe, Indo Botswana, Indo Comoros and Indo Mauritius Film and Cultural Forum.

ICMEI And Embassy of Tunisia Signed MOU To Promote Arts


MOU Signed Between Embassy of Tunisia and ICMEI


Noida: A Memorandum of Association was signed between Sandeep Marwah President International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry and  H.E Nejmeddine Lakhal Ambassador Republic of Tunisia to India to develop and promote films, television media ,art and culture.

“We are pleased to sign an arrangement with ICMEI and its associates for the development and promotion of arts and culture between two countries. We want to bring people of two countries close to each other through art and culture,” said H.E Nejmeddine Lakhal Ambassador Republic of Tunisia to India.

“It is a lucky day –World Radio Day and India and Tunisia through ICMEI and Embassy of Tunisia have decided to work on different subjects together bring both the countries close to each other through films, media, art and culture,” added Dr. Sandeep Marwah President ICMEI.

A scholarship has been announced for the deserving student from Tunisia to study at Asian Academy of Film And Television, a festival of films from Tunisia, A cultural show has also been announced. Soon ICMEI will start working on the joint venture of animated film also.

Sandeep Marwah Nominated Chair For Indo Tunisia Cultural Forum


New Delhi: Renowned Educationist and media person Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University has been nominated as the Chair of newly formed Indo Tunisia Film And Cultural Forum by Government of Tunisia.

“We have found the right person for the right post, to be the Chair of Indo Tunisia Film And Cultural Forum today launched by Embassy of Tunisia in India in association with International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry to promote and develop relation between India and Tunisia,” said H.E. Nejmeddine Lakhal Ambassador Extraordinary & Plenipotentiary of Tunisia in India.

Sandeep Marwah five times World Record Holder is the President of Marwah Studios, Asian Education Group and ICMEI, He has recently been also nominated as the Chief Scout of India. Dr. Marwah has been titled as Global Cultural Minister, World Education Leader, Man of Asia and Global Green Ambassador. His contribution to films, television, media, art and culture is beyond words.

“I am honored to be nominated for chair for Indo Tunisia Cultural Forum. I will put my best to bring this organization to World level,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah thanking Ambassador of Tunisia and Government of Tunisia for bestowing him this responsibility.

New Delhi: H.E Nejmeddine Lakhal the Ambassador Extraordinary & Plenipotentiary of Tunisia in India has been presented with the Patron ship of recently formed organization under the name and banner of Indo Tunisia Film And Cultural Forum by Dr. Sandeep Marwah at Embassy of Tunisia at New Delhi.

We are proud to be associated with    Embassy of Tunisia in India and it is our privilege to present the Patronship of ITFCF-Indo Tunisia Film And Cultural Forum to H.E. Nejmeddine Lakhal. Under his guidance we will be able to promote better relations between India and Tunisia,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry.

“I am pleased to be the Patron of ITFCF, I congratulate the team of ICMEI for taking such a beautiful initiative to develop relation between two countries,” thanked H.E. Nejmeddine Lakhal.

H.E. Nejmeddine Lakhal was earlier Adviser to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, 2014 he was In charge of the directorate of multilateral cooperation. In 2012 he was appointed as Deputy Director for multilateral cooperation. In 2012 he acted as Deputy permanent representative, Mission of Tunisia to the United Nations (New Work). In 2007 he was Counsellor for political, press and cultural affairs and Deputy Chief of mission at Embassy of the Republic of Tunisia, Ottawa.

Indo Tunisia Film And Cultural Forum Launched at Embassy


New Delhi: The first ever Indo Tunisia Film And Cultural Forum was inaugurated by H.E Nejmeddine Lakhal the Ambassador Extraordinary & Plenipotentiary of Tunisia in India at Embassy of Tunisia at New Delhi.

“I appreciate the initiative and suggestion of ICMEI of creating a body like Cultural Forum. It’s a very important to develop people to people relation between the two countries and promote each other’s art in our countries. This forum will bring   best of both the countries on a closer platform,” said H.E. Nejmeddine Lakhal Ambassador of Tunisia to India.

“International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry is proud to be associated with the Embassy of Tunisia to launch Indo Tunisia Film And Cultural Forum to develop and promote relation between the two countries on the basis of art and culture,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI.

A poster was launched on this occasion to mark respect to the strong relation between two countries India and Tunisia. It was decided to sign MOU in due course of time.

 H.E Nejmeddine Lakhal nominated Dr. Sandeep Marwah as the Chair of the forum. Dr Sandeep Marwah requested the Ambassador to be the first Patron of the Indo Tunisia Film And Cultural Forum. ICMEI Secretary General Ashok Tyagi and Counsellor Admin & Financial Affairs Embassy of Tunisia Mongi Drissi  were also present on the occasion.

ICMEI will soon arrange a list of works to be performed under this prestigious and exclusive body including a scholarship for the deserving student at AAFT University.

ICMEI and Embassy of Tunisia Will Work Together

New Delhi: The President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry Dr. Sandeep Marwah visited H.E. Nejmeddine LAKHAL Ambassador of Tunisia to India to explain the wide section of activities related to art and culture, conducted by the Chamber.

“We are here to support the embassy to fulfill their aim of   high lighting relations between India and Tunisia. Our purpose of starting this chamber is to develop and promote relation between two countries and            built a wonderful contact between people of two nations,” said Sandeep Marwah also President of Marwah Studios.

“I am fully aware of the activities and successful programs of the chamber. Very soon we will plan number of programs in association with Chamber to promote Tunisia in India,” said H.E. Nejmeddine LAKHAL Ambassador of Tunisia to India.

The meeting finished with a note to inaugurate Indo Tunisia Film And Cultural Forum soon at ICMEI. Ashok Tyagi Secretary General ICMEI presented set of books and magazines of chamber to the Ambassador.
