Noida:  On the second day of the 15th Global Film Festival Noida, a film from Venezuela “Steel- Clad”, was screened at the festival. During the screening, the Festival President, Dr. Sandeep Marwah said “Art is an essential element to build relations between countries”. He enlightened the audience about the Indo-Venezuela Film and Cultural Forum and relation between the two countries.

“Thirty years back we gave one term to English dictionary that is “Film & Cultural Tourism”, no body could understand that but now every country is talking about it. To honour our own term we have been able to attract three million people so far to Noida Film City under Film and Cultural Tourism,” expressed Dr. Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios and founder of Noida Film City.

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Alfredo Caldera, talked about Venezuela’s solitary cinema and how the movie, “Steel Clad” is a significant milestone in the evolution of the art, culture and cinema of Venezuela. He also extended his gratitude, to connect with ICMEI and India. Lastly, he explained how these events strengthen relations between the countries and are essential tools to propagate cinema. 

 Dr. Sandeep Marwah felicitated  Alfredo Caldera, with the distinction award for the film “Steel Clad” for being one of the most distinguished films of the festival, which was followed by the screening of “Steel Clad”. Noida: Social Media are interactive media technologies that facilitate the creation and sharing of information, ideas, interests, and other forms of expression through virtual communities and networks.  The office of Communications and Marketing manages the main Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube accounts etc.,” initiated Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of 15th Global Film Festival Noida 2022, Seminar on the first day of the festival on Social Media and Cinema.

“Big film studios and indie film production companies alike are mastering the tools of social media to tell the stories of their projects, drive the conversations and generate that all important buzz well before their projects are seen by audiences,” added Malena Rojas Medina Cultural Counsellor, Embassy of Cuba.

“Social media marketing is a very useful tool for introducing your venue to new audiences, or further engaging existing ones. It is also particularly useful for targeting audiences for more niche screenings and events,” expressed Rajesh Talang renowned actor from Mumbai.

“Digital media has restructured working models for the music, television, film, and publishing industries. As a result, TV shows and movies have gradually embraced the on-demand mode on every electronic device,” said Dr. P.K. Rajput former Vice President Cadila Pharmaceuticals.

“Social media is important because it allows you to reach, nurture, and engage with your target audience — no matter their location. When a business can use social media to connect with its audience, it can use social media to generate brand awareness, leads, sales, and revenue,” informed Hemant Nitin Das writer, producer and Cinema Director.

“The Internet simplifies the process of entering films into contests and makes it possible to network with many more people. Most of all, it allows filmmakers to get their work “out there”, getting attention on the web before a movie mogul ever sees it,” said Deepak Kalra renowned Youtuber & Actor.

Noida: The talent at AAFT is unending. We have creative a dynamic team of designers. They may be new but they are very talented. The range of garments is huge and every show adds new strength to AAFT School of Fashion and design,” said Sandeep Marwah in the opening session.

 A coffee Table book designed by Mansi Jain was launched by the dignities after lighting the ceremonial lamp of   the second day of 6th Global Fashion and Design Week 2022 at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida.

Every time I come and find new energy in this campus. The status of Global Fashion Week is growing year by year. I am happy that Azerbaijan is again part of    this great international event,” said H E Ashraf Shikhaliyev Ambassador of Azerbaijan in the capacity of Chief Guest.

Anand Sahu BJP Leader,  Dr. Nancy Juneja Founder MentorX,  Jagruti Mehta Sanghvi Fashion Exporter, Gaurav Gupta, Founder Global Trade & Technology Council of India, Dr. Sangeeta Founder, Urban Interiors also spoke on the occasion and were honoured for their  contribution to  the society. Sanjay Mittal, Ambassador K V Rajan, Anoop Bose, Harpreet Kaur, Kapil Khandelwai, Rekha Nagpal also attended the show.

The excellent display of    garments involved young and talented designers like Kamya who showcased her range influenced by the culture of Azerbaijan. Shweta Ranjan also touched this beautiful country of Azerbaijan, Ayushman Chauhan was the third designer who opted  Azerbaijan. Anjali Singh & Anshu expressed by joining the country of  Bahamas, Anjali Kumari & Nirmala showcased their   range touching the culture of  Bosnia and Herzegovina, Deepa Pal & Prachi Dubey projected their work of art where garments were influenced by the culture of Czech Republic. Sanskriti Shrivastava moved with Iceland and MD Shanu & Saumya Mishra so well prepared the show  taking Egypt as their inspiration country. Prof. Ritu Lal, Director, AAFT School of Fashion & Design paid vote of thanks.

A huge welcome was given to Amarjeet Singh by the members of World Peace Development and Research Foundation. Dr. Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios and WPDRF congratulated him for his next venture to drive car from AAFT Campus to 200 different Gurdwaras of the Nation covering 20,000 Kilometer journey for the next few months.

“It is hard to believe that Amarjeet Singh, our brand Ambassador of World Peace Development And Research Foundation has taken this powerful mission once again to touch and visit all the Gurudwaras where Guru Gobind Singh Ji probably visited during his own time. The purpose of the drive is to bring Love, Peace, and Unity through Art and Culture,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah also President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry.

“I am thankful to Sandeep Marwah for his untiring cooperation and motivation which has given me a strong determination to fulfil my mission and mission of my organization -World Peace Development and Research Foundation, to spread the World of Love, Peace, and Unity,” expressed Amarjeet while addressing the huge crowd at Noida Film City. World Mental Health Day Celebrated on 10th October

New Delhi: “The overall objective of World Mental Health Day is to raise awareness of mental health issues around the world and to mobilize efforts in support of mental health. The Day provides an opportunity for all stakeholders working on mental health issues to talk about their work, and what more needs to be done to make mental health care a reality for people worldwide said Dr Leila Mostofi Phd. [HCMC] SRHR Expert International Midwifery Educator from Iran at the webinar to initiate the program.

“The COVID-19 pandemic has had a major impact on people’s mental health. Some groups, including health and other frontline workers, students, people living alone, and those with pre-existing mental health conditions, have been particularly affected. And services for mental, neurological and substance use disorders have been significantly disrupted said Sandeep Marwah while inaugurating the session on World Mental Health Day.

“Mental health is one of the most neglected areas of public health. Close to 1 billion people are living with a mental disorder, 3 million people die every year from the harmful use of alcohol and one person dies every 40 seconds by suicide. And now, billions of people around the world have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, which is having a further impact on people’s mental health,” added Sandeep Marwah.

Being a family means you are a part of something very wonderful. It means you will love and be loved for the rest of your life,” said Sandeep Marwah President of WPDRF-World Peace Development And Research Foundation in a small event online addressing the faculty members of AAFT University of Media And Arts.

“Founded by the United Nations  in 1994, the International Day of Families is observed every May 15 to honour the importance of families.

“You don’t choose your family. They are God’s gift to you, as you are to them. Families—both traditional and non-traditional—are the foundation of society. Our most formative years are spent with our families and those people are likely the most important people in our lives, so they should be celebrated. Let’s spend time today finding ways to protect the family unit in society by starting at home with our own!,” added Dr. Sandeep Marwah

According to the United Nations, the theme for the 2021 observance of the International Day of Families is “Socially just transition towards sustainable development: the role of digital technologies on social development and well-being of all.

World Press Freedom Day Observed at International Journalism Centre

New Delhi: The mother body of many journalistic organizations-IJC-International Journalism Centre observed World Press Freedom Day on 3rd May, the day off its inception by United Nations.

This  online Conference provided an opportunity to journalists, civil society representatives, national authorities, academics and the broader public to discuss emerging challenges to press freedom and journalists’ safety, and to work together on identifying solutions.

Speaking at the conference Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of International Journalism Centre informed that, “This year’s World Press Freedom Day theme “Information as a Public Good” serves as a call to affirm the importance of cherishing information as a public good, and exploring what can be done in the production, distribution and reception of content to strengthen journalism, and to advance transparency and empowerment while leaving no one behind,”

International Journalism Centre will highlight three key topics a. Steps to ensure the economic viability of news media, b. Mechanisms for ensuring transparency of Internet companies, c. Enhanced Media and Information Literacy  capacities that enable people to recognize and value, as well as defend and demand, journalism as a vital part of information as a public good added Marwah.

New Delhi: The International Day of Happiness is an annual event organised by the United Nations to promote the idea that feeling happy is a global human right. ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry  supports and organises the day in association with Marwah Studios, AAFT-Asian Academy of Film And Television and WPDRF- World Peace Development And Research Foundation.

 Many of the world’s leading religions and philosophies promote positive emotions as vital for the well-being of mankind. However, the idea of having a dedicated day of observance for the concept is relatively new.

“The theme for this year’s International Day of Happiness is ‘Keep Calm. Stay Wise. New Delhi: The International Day of Happiness is an annual event organised by the United Nations to promote the idea that feeling happy is a global human right. ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry  supports and organises the day in association with Marwah Studios, AAFT-Asian Academy of Film And Television and WPDRF- World Peace Development And Research Foundation.

 Many of the world’s leading religions and philosophies promote positive emotions as vital for the well-being of mankind. However, the idea of having a dedicated day of observance for the concept is relatively new.

“The theme for this year’s International Day of Happiness is ‘Keep Calm. Stay Wise. Be Kind’ and is in response to the COVID pandemic. As we face an ongoing global crisis together, this year’s International Day of Happiness is a chance to find uplifting and positive ways to look after ourselves – and one another,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and ICMEI.

New Delhi: World Water Day is held annually on 22 March as a means of focusing attention on the importance of freshwater and advocating for the sustainable management of freshwater resources. This Day is an opportunity to learn more about water related issues, be inspired to tell others and take action to make a difference.

“Water is an essential building block of life. It is more than just essential to quench thirst or protect health; water is vital for creating jobs and supporting economic, social, and human development,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and World Peace Development And Research Foundation in a program organised by International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry. 

The theme of World Water Day 2021 is valuing water. The value of water is about much more than its price – water has enormous and complex value for our households, food, culture, health, education, economics and the integrity of our natural environment.

“If we overlook any of these values, we risk mismanaging this finite, irreplaceable resource. Sustainable Development Goal is to ensure water and sanitation for all. Without a comprehensive understanding of water’s true, multidimensional value, we will be unable to safeguard this critical resource for the benefit of everyone,” warned Marwah.

Conventional Journalism and Power of Social Media Discussed at 9th GFJN

Social media is instant, easy to express, fastest in nature, reach is high, spread news faster, few words are required, catch on fast with other media on the other hand conventional media is slow, takes its own time, make you wait for space and time, series of checking and correction, delivery of news is much late but authentic, confirmed and describes fully. 9th Global Festival Discussed Prospects of Print and TV Journalism

Yes the literacy is increasing in India which is a good sign. On the other hand, many newspapers had to see the dark side of the moon and closed down. On one side new TV Channels are applying for license but older ones are packing up their business,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of the festival on the first day of Global Festival of Journalism Noida 2021 online initiating the discussion and celebrating International Journalism Day

“Global festival of Journalism is a wonderful platform for all of us belonging to diplomatic corps. It has given us an international exposure towards journalism in relation to India, where we are based. I wish all the success to the festival,” said H.E. Muhammed Cengic Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to India.  

“Social media has taken over the traditional media be it a print or television. These newspapers and channels have to look for high quality of information and programming to reestablish their creditability and viewership and readership. The exclusive coverage is required,” said H.E. Marjan Cencen Ambassador of Slovenia to India.
