Noida: A well-known peacemaker Sasikumar was honored with life membership of World Peace Development And Research Foundation at the international headquarters of the foundation at Noida Film City.

Sasikumar is the Ambassador of Parliament of The World’s Religion USA and deeply and silently involved with interfaith and the peace activities in India and abroad.

The several joint meetings of different religions is  referred to as a Parliament of the World's Religions, the first being the World's Parliament of Religions of 1893, which was an attempt to create a global dialogue of faiths.

An organization was incorporated in 1988 to carry out the tradition of the Parliament of the World's Religions by marking the centennial of the first Parliament. The Council for a Parliament of the World's Religions is headquartered in Chicago.

Sasikumar is also the senior member of  Santhigiri Ashram which is located in Pothencode, Thiruvananthapuram District, Kerala. The ashram was founded by Navajyothisree Karunakara Guru and is recognized as a Social and Scientific Research Organization by the Government of India.

Indo European Relations Discussed

New Delhi: A special meet was organized by the Delhi Study Group under the leadership of Vijay Jolly to interact with H.E.Tomasz Kozlowski the Ambassador of the European Union to India and Bhutan at his residence. A group of 30 people were present there to learn and understand the relation of India with European Union.

“The EU is India's largest trading partner, accounting for 20% of Indian trade. However India accounts for only 1.8% of the EU's trade and attracts only 0.3% of European Foreign Direct Investment, although still provides India's largest source of investment,” dialogues initiated by Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Education Group.

“India trade has more than doubled from €25.6 billion (US$36.7 billion) in 2000 to 55.6 billion euros in 2007.In 2010, India, was the eighth largest trading partner of the European Union, behind China and Russia,” informed H.E. Tomasz Kozlowski.

“We feel honored in declaring a Doctorate ‘honoris causa’ for Sandeep Marwah, a six times World Record Holder, for his sincere contribution the World of Media and Entertainment. He has been commendable in his works,” said Dr. S. Vadivelu member of the Doctoral Research Committee of Kings University Honolulu.

New Delhi: International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry in association with Embassy of Mongolia, New Delhi launched a new committee under the name and banner of Indo Mongolia Film And Cultural Forum at a grand function at Asian Academy of Film And Television Noida.

“It is a wonderful occasion to launch Indo Mongolian Film And Cultural Forum when both the countries are looking to promote their relations through art and culture,” said H.E. Gonchig Ganbold Ambassador of Mongolia to India while lighting the ceremonial lamp.

“India and Mongolia have interacted through the medium of Buddhism over a

period of 2600 years. Following the emergence of Mongolia as a modern nation state in the 20th century, the two countries have continued to build relations based on shared historical and cultural legacy,” added the Mongolian Ambassador.

“It is a historical moment, I am lucky that I am present here. Diplomatic relations between India and Mongolia were established on 24 December 1955. India was the first country outside the Socialist bloc to establish diplomatic relations with Mongolia,” said H.E. Vinod Kumar Indian Ambassador to Uzbekistan.

“The India-Mongolian Cultural Agreement signed in 1961, has governed the Cultural Exchange Programme (CEP) between the two countries. The Agreement envisages co-operation in the fields of education by way of scholarships, exchange of experts, participation in conferences etc.,” informed Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI.

“We are enthusiastic to launch a new forum and happy to add another responsibility on our shoulder. Dealing with Ghana will be a new experience. Ghana was one time the most popular cinema country in Africa, we will revive its popularity in Ghana again,” said Sandeep Marwah President of the Chamber.

Indo Ghana Film And Cultural Forum was inaugurated by H.E. Michael A N N Oquaye High Commissioner of Republic of Ghana to India in the presence of large number of film, television and media persons from all over India by lighting the ceremonial lamp at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida.

 “It is written in the books of foreign affairs of Indian and Ghana history the lunching of Indo Ghana Film And Cultural Forum to promote our relations through arts and culture. We will soon sign MOU to make it official so that it can continue for all time to come,” said High Commissioner of Ghana.

“The forum will start working on the students exchange, institutional tie ups, film festivals, scholarships, joint venture of short films, workshops and seminars, allotting of time on Radio Noida, MSTV and other programs as mutually decide by the committee,” informed Ashok Tyagi Secretary General of ICMEI.

Talking to the large audience Marwah said, ”Breast Cancer is a difficult subject to talk about as socially it is a nonexistent entity for the majority of people.
