Noida: Indo French Film And Cultural Forum saw a new light when young and popular theatre, TV and film artist Charlotte Londsay visited Marwah Studios at Noida Film City to be part of the studios activities.

“We are happy to receive Charlotte from Paris, France where she is involved with theatre, television and cinema. Her enthusiasm is great and I am sure she would like to share her experience with the young students of AAFT,” welcomed Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

“I am feeling at home. The environment at Marwah Studios is so appealing and inviting. I am thankful to Dr. Marwah for his hospitality and has been generous to guide me,” said Charlotte Londsay.

International Organizations Join Hands With 8th GFJN

8th Global Festival of Journalism Noida 2020

New Delhi: Large number of international organizations once again join hands with the forth coming 8^th Global Festival of Journalism Noida to be held at Noida Film City from 12^th to 14^th February,2020 under the banner if International Journalism Centre.

IFTC-I nternational Film And Television Club, IFTRC- International Film And Television Research Centre,  IPBF- International Public Broadcasting Forum, ICFF- International Children’s Film Forum, IWFF- International Women’s Film Forum are some of the prominent associations have given their consent to the festival.

Noida: “AAFT students have been lucky to have renowned international film makers as their faculty. No film school can provide so much of international exposure to their students,” said Raghav Marwah introducing Abhi Sinha from Los Angles.

“Your deep involvement will take you to next level. You have to wait for the right role. Acting is not roadside business. One good film can get you an international coverage. Keep on practicing for the D Day. Enjoy your profession. Keep fit,” were some of the tips were delivered by Abhi Sinha in his workshop which induced the acting students to be more sincere in their profession.

Abhi Sinha has created a wonderful niche for himself and has been a part of many films and TV series like The Cleaner, How I Met Your Mother, Ghost Whisperer, Hank, I Melt With You, Rosewood, Designated Survivors and popular films like In Time, After The Dark,  The Conjuring 2 etc.

12th International Festival of Cellphone Cinema Announced

12th International Festival of Cellphone Cinema

Noida: The International Club of   Film And Television has announced the dates of the    12^th International Festival of Cellphone Cinema today in a board meeting under the leadership of festival president Dr. Sandeep Marwah.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah who has been honored and titled as the Father of Cellphone Cinema as he is the first one in India to shot a film on mobile camera  and first one to start the festival of films on mobile.

“We have decided to launch 12^th International Festival of Cellphone Cinema today where 11^th and 12^th January will be two events and 5^th February will be the last date of submission the entries, The results will be declared on 12^th of February on International Day of Journalism,” informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of IFCPC.

There are two segments one still photographs and second video where a fiction, a music video and New Gathering can be submitted to www.ifcpc.com for large number of awards totaling to two hundred thousand rupees.

 Noida: ICMEI- The working team of ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry in association with AAFT- Asian Academy of Film And Television celebrated the 60^th Liberation Day of Cuba at Marwah Studios.

“On January 1, Cubans marked National Liberation Day. Some 60 years back, the revolution led by Fidel Castro and his rebel army defeated the last Cuban capitalist government and drove the nation's fate along a new path: Socialism,” informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Chamber to the media professionals gathered to participate in the event.     

“I extends my heartiest congratulations to the people of Cuba on their 60^th Liberation Day on 1^st January and pray for stronger and lively relation between two countries,” added Dr. Marwah while releasing the goodwill poster.

Independence Day of Haiti Celebrated at Marwah Studios

National Day of Haiti Celebrated at International Headquarters of ICMEI

Noida: The staff of ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry and AAFT celebrated the National Day of Haiti at their International Headquarters at Noida Film City.

“We extend our heartiest congratulations to the people of Haiti on their National Day and look for much stronger and better relations with India in the coming years,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President ICMEI while releasing the poster of friendship at Marwah Studios on 1^st January.

Prior to the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, India sent 140 troops from the Central Reserve Police Force to serve in the United Nations Mission in Haiti in August 1995. The Indian contingent was tasked with providing police protection and maintaining law and order in the country, and served until the end of the mission in June 1996. Diplomatic relations between Haiti and India were established on 27 September 1996.

Noida: Renowned Spiritual leader H.H. Rajrajeshwar Guru Ji visited Marwah Studios at Noida Film City during his visit to India to pay respect to Global Cultural Minister and Global Peace Ambassador Dr. Sandeep Marwah.

H.H. Rajrajeshwar is based in London and is head of International Siddhasharam Shakti Centre. Not long ago Sandeep Marwah was in London and met Guru Ji and learned about him in details.

Noida: Great Grand opening of 11^th Global Film Festival Noida 2018 was witnessed by    hundreds of filmmakers, film lovers and film students from all over India and abroad at Marwah Studios, Noida Film City.

“We have grown immensely and it is evident  that Global Film Festival Noida is one of the most vibrant and interesting festivals of the World. The presence of thousands of people from all over the globe is an indication of its popularity,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of GFFN in the opening remarks.

“We would like to be part of every event by Marwah Studios and ICMEI. Indo Ghana relations will touch new heights with our presence through ICMEI to promote art and culture. It is always a learning experience once you are in these kinds of International festivals,” said H.E. Michael Oquaye High Commissioner of Ghana to India.

“Indo Nigerian Relations   have a lot to do with Indian Cinema and especially the role of Marwah. It is a proud moment for us to be part of this prestigious international event,” said H.E Maj. Gen. Chris Sunday Eze High Commissioner of Nigeria to India.

“Indo Brazil Film And Cultural Forum, which was launched recently, has given a new energy to our relationship. We have started considering promotion of our activities through films, art  and culture in association with ICMEI. Global Film Festival is a grand show,” added Roberta Lima Cultural Attaché of Embassy of Brazil in India.

“I would have never come to know the magnitude of festival if I would have not been here. The perfect international arrangements and full of youth and energy has made this festival a very exclusive one in the World. I would love to be part of this every time,” said Mehul Kumar writer producer director and Senior Vice President of IMPPA- Indian Motion Picture Producers Association.

Renowned    actor of more than 15 films  Pritam Kangane said,”what a lovely environment , every corner is decorated , every hall is full and so much to do in three days-that’s the real festival I am attending,”

International Women’s Film Forum, International Children’s Film Forum, International Public Broadcasting Forum, International Film And Television Research Centre, International Film And Television Club, Asian Education Group, Apna School for unprivileged students and Pratyna Disability Centre have become worldly known,’ said Sandeep Marwah giving ideas of activities to the Minister.

Noida: The star cast of Feature film Mantoo including Nawasuddin Sidiqui and Rasika Duggle along with the director Nandita Dass visited Marwah Studios who were there to interact with the media students of Asian Academy of Film And Television.

“Nandita  Dass is an actor and director, one of the leading figures in the Indian film industry. She has acted in more than 40 feature films in ten different languages. Das has been acclaimed for numerous performances, including in Fire, Earth, Bawandar , Kannathil Muthamittal, Azhagi, Kamli, and Before The Rains. Her directorial debut was with Firaaq, which premiered at the Toronto Film Festival, traveled to more than 50 festivals, and won more than 20 awards,” introduced Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

Nawasuddin Sidiqui made his Bollywood debut in 1999, with a small role in the Aamir Khan starrer Sarfarosh He then appeared in Ram Gopal Varma’s Shool, Jungle and Rajkumar Hirani’s Munnabhai MBBS. He is known for his roles in Mom, Manjhi-The Mountain Man, Bajranghi Bhaijan etc, who spoke about his film Manto.

Rasika Dugal is an Indian actress who starred in several Bollywood movies, an Indian-German drama film and several Indian soap operas. She is best known for her role in the movies Kshay, Qissa and Manto also replied to questions putup by students.

Every one spoke about the film and shared their experience. Later Sandeep Marwah honored all the three stars with Life Membership of International Film And Television Club of AAFT.

Noida: A full team of new feature film Teri Bhabhi Hai Paghle visited Marwah Studios to interact with the students of AAFT- Asian Academy of Film And Television at Noida Film city.

“We are pleased to welcome the starts of TBHP who all are in real good mood to do promotion of their film in Delhi NCR. Their visit has added suddenly new energy to the campus when students started running to towards auditorium to be part of the promotion planned for them in the campus of AAFT,” said Sandeep Marwah inviting stars to Marwah Studios.

Krushna Abhishek known for his films Kya Cool Hai Hum, Bol Bachchan Rajniesh Duggal famous for Aarambh, !920, Wajah Tum Ho etc., Mukul Dev of Yamla Pagla Deewana, Son of Sardar, Nazia Hussain who rose to fame through her role in Telugu film “Nee Jathaga Nenundali” and Nancy Marwah along with their production team entertained the huge crowd of media students.

Students asked ample questions and very patiently the actors present on the stage delivered the answers. Later Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios presented every one with the life membership of International Film And Television Club of AAFT.

Noida: known film and TV artist Amita Nangia conducted an interesting film workshop with the students of Acting and Presentation at Asian Academy of Film And Television.

Answering to the questions of students of acting, Amita Nangia expressed that nothing is impossible in this World, it may be difficult to achieve the success. She narrated her experiences in film and television production at length.

Amita Nangia’s initial popularity was from her role as Sheena in TV serial Tara, broadcast on Zee TV in 1993. She played roles in many Bollywood movies, and was among the five girls of popular TV serial Hum Paanch sitcom,also on Zee TV. She has also acted in Bollywood movies like Purani Haveli and College Girl. She was last seen playing the role of an sorcerer in the indian's mystery and thriller show, Kaal Bhairav Rahasya.

Noida: A high powered delegation from Uzbekistan visited Marwah Studios at Noida Film City  to join hands for films and media business with India.

“The Embassy of Uzbekistan has referred the most popular film, television and media unit and founders of Noida Film City to the visiting Government officials from Tashkent along with film makers as we are sure we will reach to some better conclusion, ”said Muzaffar B Kamilov Second Secretary- Information And Culture Embassy of Uzbekistan in New Delhi, India.

We are keen and ready to visit Ubzekistan as film shooting and film production is our most important agenda. We have formed Indo Uzbekistan Film And Cultural Forum and your presence has added a lot to it,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

“I had the pleasure to shoot two of music video from India in Uzbekistan. We are now well equipped to shoot any feature film in our country,” said Sukhrat Viayumov Producer in Koyumov Film Studios.

“We invite you to visit Tashkent and plan a film in Uzbekistan. We are open to many negotiations. Your visit will enhance the film collaboration between two countries,” said Rizayev Shuxrat Deputy General Director.

AAFT Alumna Brought Miss Universal Teen Title to India

AAFT Alumna Srishti Kaur Honored

Nicaragua: AAFT Alumna Srishti Kaur  from India was crowned Miss Teen Universe 2017 at the sixth edition of the pageant held in the Ruben Dario National Theatre in Managua, the capital city of Nicaragua.

Srishti Kaur beat 25 contestants from across the world to win the pageant. A student of AAFT, Srishti is currently pursuing her studies at the London School of Fashion.

Samantha Pierre from Canada was crowned the first runner up and and Ary Trava from Mexico was the second runner up. Srishti also went ahead to win the Best National Costume Award.

“ I belong to the unification of diversity, India. I have got India’s youth award and international women film forum award. I want to launch my own brand and promote Make In India Campaign. I also want to work for my society and for that I have become the brand ambassador of Indian Cancer Society,” said Srishti Kaur influenced by the President of AAFT Sandeep Marwah.

“I also run a school for the underprivileged children by the name of Apna School and works for the blind school. I also run an online retail chain store in India by the name of Crystal Sourcing. After finishing my course from AAFT now I am working to get into films because I now aim to foray into the world of silver screen.

We at Asian Academy of Film And Television are more than excited for the laurels Srishti has brought to the Asian Education Group. She deserves all the honor and respect from the institution,” said Sandeep Marwah President of AEG.

Mumbai: “I am thankful to each and every one who has contributed to the growth of Asian Academy of Film And Television in these last twenty five years of its existence,” said Sandeep Marwah founder, Promoter and President of AAFT during his trip to Mumbai.

“1993 We shot Bandit Queen Phoolan Devi for almost four months at Marwah Studios. That was another full length feature film shot at Noida, The film became internationally successful. We learned a lot from Shekhar Kapur, the Director of the Film,” said Sandeep Marwah thanking Shekhar for trusting him even at that time.

Marwah also extend his gratitude to Satish Kaushik for his continuous support by shooting films at Marwah Studios be it Badhai o Badhai, Prem, Khushi or his contribution towards film education by taking workshops with different batches of AAFT.

“I know Javed Sahib since 1982 and his consent as Member of the Academic Council has given us the opportunity to have screening of all the films he has written so far including Deewar, Sholay, Trishul, Mr India, etc.

AAFT has already started celebrating this year as Silver Jubliee Year. Large number of events has been planned through out the year.

Polish Exhibition Inaugurated at IIC

New Delhi: The Polish Institute, the cultural centre of Embassy of Poland in India and Polish Army Museum invited Sandeep Marwah President International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry as the special guest at the opening of an exhibition at India International Centre.

It was a rare exhibition of photographs and posters on Josef Pitsudski a polish and European Statesman depicting his involvement with forces.  H.E.     Adam Burakowski The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland to India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Maldives and Afghanistan inaugurated the exhibition.

Dr. Adam Butawa Director Polish Army Museum, Warsaw and Dr. Anna Popielarczyk Chief Specialist, Polish Army Museum Warsaw were the chief Guests. The administration of Polish Museum is excited to bring this exhibition to India. We are thankful to the Ambassador for organizing in short period of time," said Dr. Adam Butawa.
