World peace, or peace on Earth, is the concept of an ideal state of happiness, freedom and peace within and among all people and nations on Planet Earth. This idea of world non-violence is one motivation for people and nations to willingly cooperate, either voluntarily or by virtue of a system of governance that has this objective. Different cultures, religions, philosophies, and organizations have varying concepts on how such a state would come about.

Various religious and secular organizations have the stated aim of achieving world peace through addressing human rights, technology, education, engineering, medicine or diplomacy used as an end to all forms of fighting.

New Delhi: “Enough has been discussed and planned now It is time to come into action. Mother earth has given us the biggest indication that if you cannot do it I will do it myself. The whole nature is taking its better shape in this era of Covid 19, when we all are just handicap,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios presenting his studies to the group of environment lovers from all over India on the World Environment Day celebrated by MSME Chamber of Commerce and Industry of India.

“I have the pleasure in initiating and launching committees on environment in more than 100 different organizations. We are directly connected to Clean India, Green India, Save Rivers, Develop Village Develop Nation, Startup India which are Governmental projects, Our own institutions and AAFT University is continuously promoting the activities on environment at grass root level,” added Dr. Marwah.

“Our radio station and television station keep on broadcasting programs and create enough awareness around the year. News paper covers items on environment every week. Our film production house keeps on building up an impressive stock of environmental films. The event management company organizes workshops, talks, interaction programs, symposiums, festivals in relation to environment,” informed Dr. Marwah

“We are partners with United Nations through UNIC and IFUNA and celebrate all important days round the year. Now being Chief Scout For India I have advised to involve fifty lakh scouts and guides from all over India into environment studies and programs,” expressed Dr. Sandeep Marwah earlier titled as Global Green Ambassador.

World Consumer Rights Day Celebrated at AAFT School of PR Events & Advertising

Noida: World Consumer Rights Day is an annual international event that signifies celebration and solidarity in the international consumer movement, demanding that, consumer rights are to be respected and protected.

The event also gives a chance to protest against the market abuses and social injustices which undermine those rights. Each year, World Consumer Rights Day adopts a theme to highlight. This year the theme promoted is "The Sustainable Consumer".

“In order to protect the planet and provide fair social conditions for current and future generations, we need to think about the way we produce and consume goods and services,” reminded Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of AAFT School of PR Events And Advertising talking to the young entrepreneurs in making at Noida Film City.

 “The aim of sustainable consumption is to increase resource efficiency and fair trade while helping to alleviate poverty and enable everyone to enjoy a good quality of life with access to food, water, energy, medicine and more,” added Dr. Marwah highlighting the World Consumer Rights Day, which falls on 15th March every year.

New Delhi: Large number of international organizations once again join hands with the forth coming 8th Global Festival of Journalism Noida to be held at Noida Film City from 12th to 14th February,2020 under the banner if International Journalism Centre.

IFTC-I nternational Film And Television Club, IFTRC- International Film And Television Research Centre,  IPBF- International Public Broadcasting Forum, ICFF- International Children’s Film Forum, IWFF- International Women’s Film Forum are some of the prominent associations have given their consent to the festival.

UNIC- United Nations Information Centre, IFUNA- International Federation of United Nations Association, IHRO- International Human Rights Organization, AIHRA- All India Human Rights Association, AICHRLSJ- All India Council of Human Rights, Liberties and Social Justice, AFI World Peace Initiative, WPDRF- World Peace Development And Research Foundation are now already part of the festival.

International Journalism Centre was created nine years back to promote good journalism under the leadership of renowned International media personality Dr. Sandeep Marwah. The IJC has members from all over the World and is promoting positive journalism through News papers, Radio, Television, News Agency and documentaries. IJC is also supporting AAFT School of Mass

International Human Solidarity Day Observed at Marwah Studios

 Noida: The United Nations' (UN) International Human Solidarity Day is annually held on December 20 to celebrate unity in diversity. It also aims to remind people on the importance of solidarity in working towards eradicating poverty.

“On International Human Solidarity Day, governments and Social Bodies are reminded of their commitments to international agreements on the need for human solidarity as an initiative to fight against poverty. People are encouraged to debate on ways to promote solidarity and find innovative methods to help eradicate poverty,” informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah Patron to IFUNA-Indian Federation of United Nation Associations and WPDRF-World Peace Development And Research Foundation.
 
Activities may include promoting campaigns on issues such as: banning land mines, making health and medication accessible to those in need, relief efforts to help those who suffered the effects of natural or human-made disasters, achieving universal education and  fighting against poverty, corruption and terrorism,” added Sandeep Marwah while talking to the media students at Asian Academy of Film And Television and releasing the poster.

International Peace Day Celebrated At Marwah Studios


Noida: Each year the International Day of Peace is observed around the world on 21 September. The General Assembly has declared this as a day devoted to strengthening the ideals of peace, both within and among all nations and peoples. 

“The United Nations Member States adopted the 17 Sustainable Development Goals in 2015 because they understood that it would not be possible to build a peaceful world if steps were not taken to achieve economic and social development for all people everywhere, and ensure that their rights were protected,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Patron to IFUNA- Indian Federation of United Nation Organizations & Ambassador of International Human Rights Organization in a jam packed hall at Marwah Studios.

“The Sustainable Goals cover a broad range of issues, including poverty, hunger, health, education, climate change, gender equality, water, sanitation, energy, environment and social justice,” added Dr. Marwah.

A poster was launched to mark respect to International Peace Day by H.E. Dato’ Hidayat Abdul Hamid High Commissioner of Malaysia to India and Nor’ Azam Mohd. Idrus Deputy High Commissioner of Malaysia to India. The event was supported by World Peace Development And Research Foundation & Indo Malaysia Film And Cultural Forum.

World No Tobacco Day Observed at Marwah Studios

Noida: Every year, on 31 May, the World Health Organization (WHO) and global partners celebrate World No Tobacco Day (WNTD). The annual campaign is an opportunity to raise awareness on the harmful and deadly effects of tobacco use and second-hand smoke exposure, and to discourage the use of tobacco in any form.

“The focus of World No Tobacco Day 2019 is on "tobacco and lung health." The campaign will increase awareness on the negative impact that tobacco has on people’s lung health, from cancer to chronic respiratory disease and the fundamental role lungs play for the health and well-being of all people.,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios while releasing the poster at Asian Academy of Film And Television.

The campaign also serves as a call to action, advocating for effective policies to reduce tobacco consumption and engaging stakeholders across multiple sectors in the fight for tobacco control.

Sandeep Marwah is Patron to IFUNA- Indian Federation of United Nations   Associations. He is also Global Ambassador of International Human Rights Organization affiliated to United Nations.

Noida: Although families all over the world have transformed greatly over the past decades in terms of their structure and as a result of global trends and demographic changes, the United Nations still recognizes the family as the basic unit of society. It is celebrated on 15th May all over the World.

“The International Day of Families provides an opportunity to promote awareness of issues relating to families and to increase knowledge of the social, economic and demographic processes affecting them,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios. He is also Patron to IFUNA- Indian Federation of United Nations Association and Associated with UNIC- United Nations Information Centre.

 It has inspired a series of awareness-raising events, including national family days. In many countries, this day is an opportunity to highlight different areas of interest and importance to families. WPDRF- World Peace Development And Research Foundation supported the event at Marwah Studios.

World Health Day Celebrated at AAFT

Noida: “Healthy citizen means Healthy Nation. Universal health coverage is WHO’s number one goal. Key to achieving it is ensuring that everyone can obtain the care they need, when they need it, right in the heart of the community,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios while talking to the media persons on the occasion of World Health Day at Noida Film City.

“Progress is being made in countries in all regions of the world. But millions of people still have no access at all to health care. Millions more are forced to choose between health care and other daily expenses such as food, clothing and even a home,” added Dr. Marwah who is also Ambassador of International Human Rights Organization affiliated to United Nations and Patron to IFUNA- Indian Federation of United Nations Associations.  

This is why WHO is focusing on universal health coverage for this year’s World Health Day, on 7 April. Sandeep Marwah launched a poster to high light the health issues in India.

World Autism Awareness Day Observed at AAFT


Noida: An Autism Awareness Day observed at Marwah Studios at Noida Film City  to inform the depth of the problem to the media students of AAFT University of Media And Arts on 2nd April, a day decided by the United Nations.

“While technological advances are continuous, there are still major barriers to the use of assistive technologies, including high costs, lack of availability, lack of awareness of their potential, and a lack of training in their use. Available data indicates that, in several developing countries, more than 50% of the persons with disabilities who need assistive devices are not able to receive them,” informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of University of Media And Arts while releasing the poster of WAAD presented by ICMEI.


Present on the occasion Neetika Chadha Sablok read the message by United Nations. "On World Autism Awareness Day, we speak out against discrimination, celebrate the diversity of our global community and strengthen our commitment to the full inclusion and participation of people with autism. Noida: “Languages are the most powerful instruments of preserving and developing our tangible and intangible heritage. All moves to promote the dissemination of mother tongues will serve not only to encourage linguistic diversity and multilingual education but also to develop fuller awareness of linguistic and cultural traditions throughout the world and to inspire solidarity based on understanding, tolerance and dialogue,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and World Peace Development And Research Foundation at the poster release to celebrate the International Mother Language Day declared by United Nations.

Languages, with their complex implications for identity, communication, social integration, education and development, are of strategic importance for people and planet. Yet, due to globalization processes, they are increasingly under threat, or disappearing altogether. When languages fade, so does the world's rich tapestry of cultural diversity. World Day of Social Justice Celebrated at AAFT


Noida: Social Equality Justice day is a day recognizing the need to promote efforts to tackle issues such as poverty, exclusion and unemployment Marwah Studios recognized the need to make statements on the importance of social justice for people. A poster was released at AAFT to observed World Day of Social Justice.

Many organizations also present plans for greater social justice by tackling poverty, social and economic exclusion and unemployment. The United Nations General Assembly has decided to observe 20 February annually, as the World Day of Social Justice

Ideal topics for teaching students about the need for social justice include childhood poverty, global citizenship, human rights, and sustainable development. A series of lessons are delivered at Asian Education Group to create awareness,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Patron to IFUNA, Ambassador of International Human Rights Organization and President of World Peace Development And Research Foundation.

New Delhi: A get together was organized by IFUNA-Indian Federation of United Nation Associations to bid farewell to Al Amin Yusuph of UNESCO at India International Centre.

Srivastava Secretary General of IFUNA, Sandeep Marwah of ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry, Satish Kapoor of  WECARE and Deepak Parvatiyar  Media Advisor to IFUNA were also present there.

 “Al Amin Yusuph has been an Information and Knowledge Management Expert with more than 20 years experience in knowledge and Information Management, Media Development and use of new media for development accumulated at a national and international level,” informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah Ambassador of International Human Rights Organization, Patron of IFUNA and President of World Peace Development And Research Foundation.

The international organizations that he had worked for includes the British Council, CIDA and UNESCO. Al-Amin has also worked as a Board Member for the School of Librarianship and Documentation Studies and the Tanzania Media Foundation.

He has been behind several new rural communications projects because of his keen interest in using communication for development and communication for gender equality and women empowerment especially for the marginalized communities and the economically challenged citizens living in the rural areas.

International Day of World's Indigenous Peoples Observed


Noida: “There are an estimated 370 million indigenous people in the world, living across 90 countries. They make up less than 5 per cent of the world's population, but account for 15 per cent of the poorest. They speak an overwhelming majority of the world’s estimated 7,000 languages and represent 5,000 different cultures,” said Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios at International Day of World’s Indigenous People at Marwah Studios.

"Indigenous peoples are inheritors and practitioners of unique cultures and ways of relating to people and the environment. They have retained social, cultural, economic and political characteristics that are distinct from those of the dominant societies in which they live," added Marwah who is also patron to IFUNA and associated with UNIC.

Indigenous peoples today, are arguably among the most disadvantaged and vulnerable groups of people in the world. The international community now recognizes that special measures are required to protect their rights and maintain their distinct cultures and way of life. The day is observed on 9th August.

Noida: In recognition of the former South African President’s contribution to the culture of peace and freedom, UN General Assembly declares 18 July "Nelson Mandela International Day".

The resolution recognizes Mandela’s values and his dedication to the service of humanity in: conflict resolution; race relations; promotion and protection of human rights; reconciliation; gender equality and the rights of children and other vulnerable groups; the fight against poverty; the promotion of social justice. The resolution acknowledges his contribution to the struggle for democracy internationally and the promotion of a culture of peace throughout the world,” informed Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and World Peace Development And Research Foundation while talking to the media persons at Noida Film City.

Nelson Mandela International Day 2018 marks 100 years since the birth of Nelson Mandela (18 July 1918). The Centenary is an occasion to reflect on his life and legacy, and to follow his call to “make of the world a better place.”

“Nelson Mandela devoted his life to the service of humanity — as a human rights lawyer, a prisoner of conscience, an international peacemaker and the first democratically elected president of a free South Africa.  New Delhi:  A well known International media personality and five times World record holder Sandeep Marwah has been nominated as the Vice Chairman of Peacful Mind Foundation as announced by the founder Dr. Nabhit Kapur.


Dr Nabhit Kapur said that PMF is the only Organization in India to work on Psychology and Peace. The aims of the organization are to Understand mental health from a psycho-social perspective, to Demonstrate the linkages between mental health, discrimination, poverty and access to justice and to
de-stigmatizing mental health issues and creating both a demand and a supply for mental health care among the most marginalized communities.


Peacful Mind Foundation has already engaged in multiple awareness generation programs via community programs and social forums, multimedia campaigns, policy advocacy and partnerships with sector organizations, corporate entities, and schools.

“These activities are instrumental in integrating mental health concerns into general health concerns of the society and creating a demand for mental health care through identification of concerns,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios who is also chairing World Peace Development And Research Foundation.
