AAFT Art Strengthens Indo–Malaysia Relations

Noida, India: A specially curated painting created by a talented student of AAFT School of Fine Arts was formally presented to Mrs. Sharifah Ezneeda Wafa, Deputy High Commissioner of Malaysia to India, at Malaysian High Commission. The presentation symbolized the growing cultural collaboration and artistic exchange between India and Malaysia.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios, stated that the ICMEI’s Indo–Malaysia Film and Cultural Forum has performed commendably in strengthening bilateral relations through film, media, art, and culture. He emphasized that such creative initiatives play a vital role in fostering mutual understanding and long-lasting friendships between nations.

Dr. Marwah further added that involving students in meaningful international engagements not only boosts their confidence but also gives them global exposure, reinforcing AAFT’s commitment to practical, international learning.

Noida / Kuala Lumpur: The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) signed a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Malaysian World Chamber of Commerce (MWCC), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, marking an important milestone in strengthening bilateral cooperation between India and Malaysia.

The MoU was formalized during the visit of Mr. John Francis, Chairman, Malaysian World Chamber of Commerce, and Dr. Jayanthi Raja Ratenan, Founder & President, MWCC, to Marwah Studios, Noida. The interaction focused on expanding collaboration across media, entertainment, trade, business promotion, and cultural exchange between the two nations.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President, ICMEI, emphasized the growing importance of international partnerships in the creative and commercial sectors. He stated, “India and Malaysia share warm and friendly relations. This MoU will open new avenues for cooperation in film, television, media, events, education, trade promotion, and cultural activities. Noida: A distinguished Malaysian delegation led by noted businessman and philanthropist Anand Nagpal from Kuala Lumpur visited Marwah Studios, Film City Noida, to promote the activities of the Indo-Malaysian Film and Cultural Forum (IMFCF).

Welcoming the delegation, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Chancellor of AAFT University, emphasized the importance of Indo-Malaysian collaboration in the fields of film, media, and culture. Noida, India : In a significant move to bolster international educational ties and promote cultural exchange, the Indo Malaysia Film and Cultural Forum (IMFCF) of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), in collaboration with AAFT University, has awarded a distinguished scholarship to a deserving student from Malaysia. The announcement was made during the recent visit of His Excellency Dato Muzafar Shah Mustafa, High Commissioner of Malaysia to India, at the ICMEI headquarters in Noida Film City.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of ICMEI and Chair for the Indo Malaysia Film and Cultural Forum, expressed his enthusiasm for this initiative, stating, “We are delighted to offer this scholarship, which includes boarding and lodging for a period of three months. Noida: In a heartfelt recognition of his unwavering dedication, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Chair of the Indo Malaysia Film and Cultural Forum (IMFCF), was honored by H.E. Dato Muzafar Shah Mustafa, the High Commissioner of Malaysia to India, for his six years of exemplary service in promoting and developing relations between India and Malaysia. This prestigious position was conferred upon him in a ceremony held at Marwah Studios, reflecting a new chapter in the cultural and diplomatic relations between India and Malaysia.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry, expressed his enthusiasm about the appointment. “The Indo Malaysia Film and Cultural Forum will gain new energy and guidance under the leadership of H.E. Dato Muzafar Shah Mustafa served as the High Commissioner of Malaysia to Mexico, with concurrent accreditation to Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras. He also held the position of Ambassador of Malaysia to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, concurrently accredited to Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Commonwealth of Dominica, Grenada, Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, Saint Lucia, Saint Kitts and Nevis, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Additionally, he has served as the Undersecretary, Finance Division, MFA, and Deputy Chief of Protocol (Privileges and Immunities) in the Protocol and Consular Department of the Malaysian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The job of feet is walking, but their hobby is dancing, The most essential thing in dance discipline is devotion, to watch us dance is to hear our hearts speak, Do it big, do it right, and do it with style,” said Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios and Chair for Indo Malaysian Film and Cultural Forum on the occasion of   great dance recital by the Malaysian Group at Marwah Studios Noida Film City.

We are more than happy to deal with Marwah Studios. The Indo Malaysian Film and Cultural Forum has grown big with every event. Promotion of art and culture brings spiritual feelings to the people. The dance group from Malaysia I am sure will be appreciated by the people of India,” H.E. Dato Hidayat Abdul Hamid High Commissioner of Malaysia to India.

The colourful dances were presented by the Malaysian Group in a jam-packed hall. Later Every artist was honoured with the membership of Indo Malaysian Film and Cultural Forum. Noida: We have come long way. Not only that we have been celebrating Indo Malaysian relations through different events in India, the visit of Indian delegation under the leadership of Dr. Sandeep Marwah to Malaysia has also strengthened the relation to the next level, “informed Haripriya Thakur Banga Director Events of ICMEI.

A meeting of Indo Malaysian Film and Cultural Forum has taken place at Marwah Studios at Noida Film City where the meeting was chaired by H.E. Dato Hidayat Abdul Hamid High Commissioner of Malaysia to India. Large number of points were discussed as to how further we can develop our relations through soft power.

The members went through all the facilities of Marwah Studios and ICMEI- International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry and appreciated the efforts of Sandeep Marwah in maintain strong relations through Indo Malaysian Film and Cultural Forum.

We are well equipped with facilities related to soft power including films, television, art, culture, media, education, fashion, skill development. We have our own audio, film, television studios including a radio and Television station being broadcast from Noida Film City,” said Sandeep Marwah President ICMEI.

Deputy Head of the Mission Amizal Fadzli Rajali, Minister Economic Affairs Ezral Bin Uzaimi, Counsellor Political Nuramira Akmal Mustapa and Director Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board Sulaiman Suip were part of the meeting.

The visit of Sandeep Marwah to Kuala Lumpur strengthen the relation and a new chapter was opened in Kuala Lumpur to develop and promote the relation between people of two countries, especially though art and culture. New Media Policies Were Discussed During 9th Global Festival of Journalism

New Delhi: “I extend my heartiest congratulations to ICMEI and Sandeep Marwah on the successful launching of 9th Global Festival of Journalism 2021. It is celebration of journalism. I am impressed by this most exclusive kind of festival meant to bring love, peace and unity through journalism,” said H.E. Hidayat Abdul Hamid High Commissioner of Malaysia to India in a message sent for the international event.

“The only constant thing in this world is The Change. Media had to change its ways, means, style, methods because of pandemic. Whereas the response was equally good and people of this earth molded themselves in these last eleven months of Pandemic. This year we have learned ample new things, changed our habits and the whole thinking process has brought the people of this world close to each other,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and 9th GFJN.

“Sometimes the public seeks opinion and analysis of complicated issues. Providing such opinions and analysis is another important function performed by the media. The evolution of the media has been fraught with concerns and problems. Accusations of mind control, bias, and poor quality have been thrown at the media on a regular basis. Yet the growth of communications technology allows people today to find more information more easily than any previous generation,” initiated Abdul Mohd. Dewale President of Africa Asia Scholars Global Network, UK.

 “Never before in human history has it been possible to communicate so quickly during a pandemic, social media platforms have been a key piece for the dissemination of information; however, there are multiple advantages and disadvantages that must be considered. Responsible use of these tools can help quickly disseminate important new information, relevant new scientific findings, share diagnostic, treatment, and follow up protocols, as well as compare different approaches globally, removing geographic boundaries for the first time in history,” added Dr. Yogendra Narain Chancellor Hemvati Nandan Bhaguna University.

During the session 4th Edition of Mahatma Gandhi National Award for journalism were also presented to Lord Remy Ranger, Pradeep Sardana, Salma Sultan and Vinod Agnihotri who all have contributed enough to Gandhism in India and abroad.

Dr. A. K.Rastogi Editor in Chief of Avishkar Media, Bharti Dubey of Times of India, Renzu Shah Author and Journalist from Kashmir, Sushant Pathak from Australia and  Gaurav Gupta Charter President of Lions Club also spoke on the subject of new policies on new Media.

Radio Noida head Sushil Bharti proposed vote of thanks. It is a great pleasure to celebrate Malaysian National Day on this auspicious day of Onam in India. The Indo Malaysian Film And Cultural Forum is been working since last year to develop and promote relation between two countries. I had the pleasure to take the delegation from India to Malaysia last year, which was really fruitful and result oriented, added Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chair for Indo Malaysian Film And Cultural Forum.

 

There are lots of arrangements made between Malaysia and India as far as cultural diplomacy is concerned, we shall proceed once Covid 19 is over with its impact. The next business trip and study trips are also planned for the next year.

Colorful Malaysian Cultural Evening At Marwah Studios


Noida: A colorful cultural evening was organized by ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry in association with High Commission of Malaysia in India at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida.

Nineteen member team specially flown from Malaysia performed a non stop entertainment of traditional dances and mesmerized the audience with their well synchronized dances with folk music.

“I have not thanked enough for the hospitality, love and affection I got on my visit to Malaysia early this month, We are again enjoying the traditional dances and music from Malaysia at our own campus,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI and Indo Malaysian Film And Cultural Forum addressing the houseful auditorium at Marwah Studios.

“We are thankful to Dr. Marwah and his team along with the cultural group from the State of Sarawak. This is in continuation to celebrate the Malaysia's Independence Day which falls on 31 August, also known as Merdeka Day. Indo Malaysian Film And Cultural Forum in a short span of time proved its powerful existence. We welcome you all to Malaysia, the real center for tourism,” said H.E. Dato’ Hidayat Abdul Hamid High Commissioner of Malaysia to India.

Later Dr. Sandeep Marwah honored and presented life membership of International Film And Television Club of AAFT to the High Commissioner and Membership of Indo Malaysian Film And Cultural Forum to Nor’ Azam Mohd. Idrus Deputy High Commissioner of Malaysia to India, Sharkawi Bin Haji Amit CEO Sarawak Arts Council Ministry of Tourism Arts and Culture Sarawak and complete team from the council. AAFT School of Performing Arts hosted the program.

International Peace Day Celebrated At Marwah Studios


Noida: Each year the International Day of Peace is observed around the world on 21 September. The General Assembly has declared this as a day devoted to strengthening the ideals of peace, both within and among all nations and peoples. 

“The United Nations Member States adopted the 17 Sustainable Development Goals in 2015 because they understood that it would not be possible to build a peaceful world if steps were not taken to achieve economic and social development for all people everywhere, and ensure that their rights were protected,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Patron to IFUNA- Indian Federation of United Nation Organizations & Ambassador of International Human Rights Organization in a jam packed hall at Marwah Studios.

“The Sustainable Goals cover a broad range of issues, including poverty, hunger, health, education, climate change, gender equality, water, sanitation, energy, environment and social justice,” added Dr. Marwah.

A poster was launched to mark respect to International Peace Day by H.E. Dato’ Hidayat Abdul Hamid High Commissioner of Malaysia to India and Nor’ Azam Mohd. Idrus Deputy High Commissioner of Malaysia to India. The event was supported by World Peace Development And Research Foundation & Indo Malaysia Film And Cultural Forum.

Kuala Lumpur: The group of organizations including World Sports Alliance of United Nations invited the Chief Scout For India Dr. Sandeep Marwah to discuss and develop relation between scouts of two countries India and Malaysia.

“We are large country and have huge number of scouts and guides in the country. Youth must be given an opportunity to grow from all points of view as far as personality development is concerned. A trip to Malaysia can change their outlook and vision for life,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah shaking hands with World Sports Alliance of United Nations.

“We are open to receive young talent from India to promote then in Malaysia,” said Zahid Haque with lots of confidence.

The evening was full of music, dance, excitement and networking. “We have with us Asia’s renowned media personality Dr. Sandeep Marwah who has attained six World Records in media and his 35 years long contribution to this industry now is being recognized by the whole World. We welcome you to Malaysia and will stand with you in your every endeavor,” said Dato’ R. Rajendran of Malaysia China Chamber of Commerce and Malaysia Global Business Council.

A special show of Master Roong Huah a well-known awarded artist was organized, who later presented his painting to Dr. Sandeep Marwah as a gesture of Goodwill.

Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia): Dr. Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios and Chief Scout For India was invited by K. Ayyanar Director Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose India Cultural Centre, High Commission of India, Government of India as a special guest in Kuala Lumpur on his visit to Malaysia.

“I am amazed to see the activities of the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose India cultural Centre at Kuala Lumpur. The Centre is working day in day out in promoting Indian art and culture. Yoga, classical dance, Indian languages and other fine and performing arts are taught here on regular basis,” informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah.

“There is no life without art and culture, rather you are incomplete human without the indulgence of arts in your life. Fine arts and performing arts come with great practice and keeps you spiritually high,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah at the dance recital at India Cultural Centre.

“We are pleased with the presence of Dr. Sandeep Marwah who is a renowned name in art and culture. The Centre is honored to honor him,” said K. Ayyanar Director ICC while presenting shawl to Dr. Marwah.

The dance recital was the presentation of students of Padma Nrithyalaya Arts. Akshobhya Bhardwaj Classical dance practitioner was also present there.
