Noida, India: A specially curated painting created by a talented student of AAFT School of Fine Arts was formally presented to Mrs. Sharifah Ezneeda Wafa, Deputy High Commissioner of Malaysia to India, at Malaysian High Commission. The presentation symbolized the growing cultural collaboration and artistic exchange between India and Malaysia.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios, stated that the ICMEI’s Indo–Malaysia Film and Cultural Forum has performed commendably in strengthening bilateral relations through film, media, art, and culture. He emphasized that such creative initiatives play a vital role in fostering mutual understanding and long-lasting friendships between nations.

Dr. Marwah further added that involving students in meaningful international engagements not only boosts their confidence but also gives them global exposure, reinforcing AAFT’s commitment to practical, international learning.

Noida / Kuala Lumpur: The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) signed a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Malaysian World Chamber of Commerce (MWCC), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, marking an important milestone in strengthening bilateral cooperation between India and Malaysia.

The MoU was formalized during the visit of Mr. John Francis, Chairman, Malaysian World Chamber of Commerce, and Dr. Jayanthi Raja Ratenan, Founder & President, MWCC, to Marwah Studios, Noida. The interaction focused on expanding collaboration across media, entertainment, trade, business promotion, and cultural exchange between the two nations.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President, ICMEI, emphasized the growing importance of international partnerships in the creative and commercial sectors. He stated, “India and Malaysia share warm and friendly relations. This MoU will open new avenues for cooperation in film, television, media, events, education, trade promotion, and cultural activities. Kuala Lumpur: The Asia-Pacific Institute for Broadcasting Development (AIBD) is pleased to announce that Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Founder of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), has been invited to attend the prestigious 19th Asia Media Summit 2024. The event, themed “Media: The New Odyssey,” will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from September 1st to 5th, 2024.

The Asia Media Summit (AMS) is an annual international media conference organized by AIBD as its flagship event. Each year, the summit is guided by a theme developed in consultation with members, partners, and global media experts. This unique broadcasting event in the Asia-Pacific region attracts around 500 top-ranking broadcasters, decision-makers, media professionals, regulators, scholars, and stakeholders from within and outside the region.

The announcement was made during the recent visit of His Excellency Dato Muzafar Shah Mustafa, High Commissioner of Malaysia to India, at the ICMEI headquarters in Noida Film City.

Noida: In a heartfelt recognition of his unwavering dedication, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Chair of the Indo Malaysia Film and Cultural Forum (IMFCF), was honored by H.E. Dato Muzafar Shah Mustafa, the High Commissioner of Malaysia to India, for his six years of exemplary service in promoting and developing relations between India and Malaysia. This prestigious position was conferred upon him in a ceremony held at Marwah Studios, reflecting a new chapter in the cultural and diplomatic relations between India and Malaysia.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry, expressed his enthusiasm about the appointment. “The Indo Malaysia Film and Cultural Forum will gain new energy and guidance under the leadership of H.E. Prior to his current role, H.E. Dato Muzafar Shah Mustafa served as the High Commissioner of Malaysia to Mexico, with concurrent accreditation to Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras. He also held the position of Ambassador of Malaysia to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, concurrently accredited to Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Commonwealth of Dominica, Grenada, Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, Saint Lucia, Saint Kitts and Nevis, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Additionally, he has served as the Undersecretary, Finance Division, MFA, and Deputy Chief of Protocol (Privileges and Immunities) in the Protocol and Consular Department of the Malaysian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Noida: We have come long way. Not only that we have been celebrating Indo Malaysian relations through different events in India, the visit of Indian delegation under the leadership of Dr. Sandeep Marwah to Malaysia has also strengthened the relation to the next level, “informed Haripriya Thakur Banga Director Events of ICMEI.

A meeting of Indo Malaysian Film and Cultural Forum has taken place at Marwah Studios at Noida Film City where the meeting was chaired by H.E. Dato Hidayat Abdul Hamid High Commissioner of Malaysia to India. Large number of points were discussed as to how further we can develop our relations through soft power.

The members went through all the facilities of Marwah Studios and ICMEI- International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry and appreciated the efforts of Sandeep Marwah in maintain strong relations through Indo Malaysian Film and Cultural Forum.

We are well equipped with facilities related to soft power including films, television, art, culture, media, education, fashion, skill development. We have our own audio, film, television studios including a radio and Television station being broadcast from Noida Film City,” said Sandeep Marwah President ICMEI.

Deputy Head of the Mission Amizal Fadzli Rajali, Minister Economic Affairs Ezral Bin Uzaimi, Counsellor Political Nuramira Akmal Mustapa and Director Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board Sulaiman Suip were part of the meeting.

Indo Malaysian Film and Cultural Forum was created under the leadership of  H.E. Dato Hidayat Abdul Hamid High Commissioner of Malaysia to India way back in 2019. The visit of Sandeep Marwah to Kuala Lumpur strengthen the relation and a new chapter was opened in Kuala Lumpur to develop and promote the relation between people of two countries, especially though art and culture. Noida: A colorful cultural evening was organized by ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry in association with High Commission of Malaysia in India at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida.

Nineteen member team specially flown from Malaysia performed a non stop entertainment of traditional dances and mesmerized the audience with their well synchronized dances with folk music.

“I have not thanked enough for the hospitality, love and affection I got on my visit to Malaysia early this month, We are again enjoying the traditional dances and music from Malaysia at our own campus,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI and Indo Malaysian Film And Cultural Forum addressing the houseful auditorium at Marwah Studios.

“We are thankful to Dr. Marwah and his team along with the cultural group from the State of Sarawak. This is in continuation to celebrate the Malaysia's Independence Day which falls on 31 August, also known as Merdeka Day. Indo Malaysian Film And Cultural Forum in a short span of time proved its powerful existence. We welcome you all to Malaysia, the real center for tourism,” said H.E. Dato’ Hidayat Abdul Hamid High Commissioner of Malaysia to India.

Later Dr. Sandeep Marwah honored and presented life membership of International Film And Television Club of AAFT to the High Commissioner and Membership of Indo Malaysian Film And Cultural Forum to Nor’ Azam Mohd. Idrus Deputy High Commissioner of Malaysia to India, Sharkawi Bin Haji Amit CEO Sarawak Arts Council Ministry of Tourism Arts and Culture Sarawak and complete team from the council. AAFT School of Performing Arts hosted the program.

Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia): After successful functions and awards at Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry conducted its third edition of Global Strategic and Leadership Awards  Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia to develop and promote relation between two countries.

The awards were presented to two teams of India and Malaysia by the president of the Chamber Dr. Sandeep Marwah and recently nominated by Government of India as the Chief Scout For India

 The Indian delegation consisting of Dr. Vipin Gaur Secretary General of News Paper Association of India, T.S. Shivalingappa Vice President Zone Newspaper Association of India, Rajnish Kumar State Secretary NAI, Prem Mishra Photo Journalist, Sushma Mishra, Dr. Savita Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Prof. Mallikajunappa SIT-Karnataka, Shambhu Pokharel Managing Director World Trade Media Nepal, Govind Rao Journalist and Amrita Sparsha from Bangalore.

Indo Malaysian Cultural Forum Chapter opened in Kuala Lumpur


Indo Malaysian Film And Cultural Forum Launched in Malaysia


Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia): After the successful launching of Indo Malaysian Film And Cultural Forum in New Delhi India a new chapter of IMFCF was initiated by International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia.

“We are thankful to H.E. Dato Hidayat Abdul Hamid High Commissioner of Malaysia to India for guiding us and making it possible to launch today the new chapter of Indo Malaysian Film And Cultural Forum here in Kuala Lumpur. I am also thankful to Indian High Commission in Kuala Lumpur for supporting us,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI.

“ICMEI was created six years back to support the vision of our Prime Minister Narendra Modi to have best of the relations possible with each and every country of the World. So far we have touched 54 countries,” added Dr. Marwah.

H.E. Prof. Dr. Zahid Haque Senior Advisor Asia Pacific Region of World Sports Alliance of United Nation has been nominated as the Country Head of IMFCF. Dr. Marwah has declared a list of forthcoming programs.

ICMEI Delegation to Malaysia Blessed by High Commissioner

New Delhi: A powerful media delegation under the leadership of Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry and Marwah Studios, Noida Film City met H.E. Dato Hidayat Abdul Hamid High Commissioner of Malaysia to India to brief the activities.

It was not long ago Dr. Sandeep Marwah was nominated as the Chair of Indo Malaysian Film And Cultural Forum and the Forum has done well in last few months. ”We are excited to meet our counter parts in Malaysia and hoping to meet and develop a strong relation between two countries through media,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah explain the details of trip to High Commissioner.

“I welcome you all to my country and wish you a very successful visit. I am sure under the leadership of Sandeep Marwah ICMEI will produce very strong results during this meet. I would love to see you with flying colors,” blessed H.E. Dato Hidayat Abdul Hamid High Commissioner of Malaysia to India.

ICMEI Secretary General Ashok Tyagi will make a documentary on the visit of delegation to Malaysia. Ten members of different media groups including Vipin Gaur General Secretary of New Paper Association of India, Television Heads, Senior Journalists and PR Events Companies will accompany Dr. Sandeep Marwah. The visit will cover by large number of national and international media.
