ICMEI Hosted ASEAN Meet at Marwah Studios



Noida: A Great gala affair was planned in the honour of 30 ladies representing eight different countries under ASEAN Ladies Circle at Marwah Studios to make them aware of the World class facilities of film & television production,  media education & training and case study of international renowned Sandeep Marwah at Noida Film City.

“We are more than happy to receive the wives of diplomats of eight countries who are now residing in Delhi under their diplomatic transfer. It is a golden opportunity to support eight cultural forums through this international event. I am thankful to all of you for giving us an opportunity to express ourselves,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and seven times World Record Holder.

Sandeep Marwah narrated his journey from 1986, the formation of Noida Film City to his achieving seven World records. He spoke about his ups and downs of business and creation of one of the best media University at Raipur. The ladies visited studios, got involved with radio station, television station, film shooting and other educational activities.

Datin Mariaratnah Binti Hj Apong Spouse of Head of Mission of Brunei, Nadiah Ahmad Rafie, Norzainah Hj Ramlee and Nur Amani Yahya from Brunei attended the seminar.

Katmany Chouanghom Spouse of Head of Mission of Laos, Pranom Boupha, Daovone Saritthirath and Soudalath Inthavong from Laos were there. Datin Rozita Spouse of Head of Mission of Malaysia, Termeeta Kaur Banwait and Nur Aida Sulaiman from Malaysia joined the show.

Khin Mar Thi from Myanmar, Cristina G. Juan, Sabina C. Moreno,  Corazon Digna C. Moreno of Philippines, Patricia Teh Spouse of Head of Mission of Singapore, Van Tramy, Felicia Tohp and  Choo Souw Hwa from Singapore attended the conference. M.L Piyawan Gongsakdi Spouse of Head of Mission of Thailand and Rachaneekorn from Thailand were the participants.

Bui Thi To Lan Spouse of Head of Mission of Vietnam, Doan Thi Hoa, Tran Thi Linh, Nguyen Thu Hoai, Nguyen Thi Minh Hue,  Duong Hong Lien, Vu Thi Hue, Vu Hoang Oanh, Tran Thi Thuy Linh from Vietnam participated in the summit.

Earlier an exhibition of paintings from Vietnam and followed by the seminar was inaugurated by H.E. Pham Sanh Chau Ambassador of Vietnam to India. “We have been able to learn quite new things related to films and television during these hours which we enjoyed at Marwah Studios,” said H.E. Pham Sanh Chau Ambassador of Vietnam . Sandeep Marwah presented life membership of International Women’s Film Forum to every individual.

Colorful Malaysian Cultural Evening At Marwah Studios


Noida: A colorful cultural evening was organized by ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry in association with High Commission of Malaysia in India at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida.

Nineteen member team specially flown from Malaysia performed a non stop entertainment of traditional dances and mesmerized the audience with their well synchronized dances with folk music.

“I have not thanked enough for the hospitality, love and affection I got on my visit to Malaysia early this month, We are again enjoying the traditional dances and music from Malaysia at our own campus,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI and Indo Malaysian Film And Cultural Forum addressing the houseful auditorium at Marwah Studios.

“We are thankful to Dr. Marwah and his team along with the cultural group from the State of Sarawak. This is in continuation to celebrate the Malaysia's Independence Day which falls on 31 August, also known as Merdeka Day. Indo Malaysian Film And Cultural Forum in a short span of time proved its powerful existence. We welcome you all to Malaysia, the real center for tourism,” said H.E. Dato’ Hidayat Abdul Hamid High Commissioner of Malaysia to India.

Later Dr. Sandeep Marwah honored and presented life membership of International Film And Television Club of AAFT to the High Commissioner and Membership of Indo Malaysian Film And Cultural Forum to Nor’ Azam Mohd. Idrus Deputy High Commissioner of Malaysia to India, Sharkawi Bin Haji Amit CEO Sarawak Arts Council Ministry of Tourism Arts and Culture Sarawak and complete team from the council. AAFT School of Performing Arts hosted the program.

International Peace Day Celebrated At Marwah Studios


Noida: Each year the International Day of Peace is observed around the world on 21 September. The General Assembly has declared this as a day devoted to strengthening the ideals of peace, both within and among all nations and peoples. 

“The United Nations Member States adopted the 17 Sustainable Development Goals in 2015 because they understood that it would not be possible to build a peaceful world if steps were not taken to achieve economic and social development for all people everywhere, and ensure that their rights were protected,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Patron to IFUNA- Indian Federation of United Nation Organizations & Ambassador of International Human Rights Organization in a jam packed hall at Marwah Studios.

“The Sustainable Goals cover a broad range of issues, including poverty, hunger, health, education, climate change, gender equality, water, sanitation, energy, environment and social justice,” added Dr. Marwah.

A poster was launched to mark respect to International Peace Day by H.E. Dato’ Hidayat Abdul Hamid High Commissioner of Malaysia to India and Nor’ Azam Mohd. Idrus Deputy High Commissioner of Malaysia to India. The event was supported by World Peace Development And Research Foundation & Indo Malaysia Film And Cultural Forum.

Asia’s Film Television & Media Legend Award for Sandeep Marwah

Kuala Lumpur (MALAYSIA): One of the most prestigious international awards of Asia- Top Ten of Asia Award today was handed over to Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Chancellor of AAFT University here at Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia.

“Six World records in media- founder of Noida Film City the fastest growing film city in Asia, Marwah Studios- The First Professional film studios of North India, Chancellor of AAFT- the first film university, producer of largest number of short films, father of Mobile Cinema, chair to almost hundred film, TV and media organizations Dr. Sandeep Marwah is a living legend,” citation read by H.E. Prof. Dr. Zahid Haque Special Advisor to Asia Pacific Region, Intergovernmental Organizations-World Sports Alliance of United Nations.

“Dr. Marwah is a teacher to 17000 media professionals from 120 countries; he has attracted 1.4 million people to Noida Film City under film tourism from 145 countries of the World, recipient of more than 600 awards and cultural ambassador for many countries. The contribution of Celebrity Dr. Sandeep Marwah now cannot be ignored by any country,” added Dr. Haque.

Asia’s Film, Television & Media Legend Award-Top Ten Of Asia was handed over to Dr. Sandeep Marwah by Dato’ R. Rajendran Chairman of Education Cooperative of Malaysia & CSR Malaysia in the presence of who’s who of Kuala Lumpur at Mandarin Court Hotel.

Marwah Studios Will Support ASEAN Meet by PHDCCI


Dr. Sandeep Marwah At First Meeting of ASEAN Summit


New Delhi; PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industries will soon present a summit with ASEAN countries to boost the commerce and trade between these countries that was decided in a meeting held by the international Committee of PHDCCI under the leadership of Ajay Podar Committee Chairman.

ASEAN was established on 8 August 1967 in Bangkok by the five original member countries: Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand. Brunei Darussalam joined on 8 January 1984, Vietnam on 28 July 1995, Laos and Myanmar on 23 July 1997, and Cambodia on 30 April 1999. All the Ten countries will participate in this economic summit.

“The ASEAN Declaration states that the aims and purposes of the Association are: to accelerate the economic growth, social progress and cultural development in the region through joint endeavors in the spirit of equality and partnership in order to strengthen the foundation for a prosperous and peaceful community of Southeast Asian nations,” informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Chair for Art and Cultural Committee at PHD.

“The second aim is to promote regional peace and stability through abiding respect for justice and the rule of law in the relationship among countries in the region and adherence to the principles of the United Nations Charter. In 1995, the ASEAN Heads of State and Government re-affirmed that “Cooperative peace and shared prosperity shall be the fundamental goals of ASEAN,” added Dr. Marwah confirming the participation of Marwah Studios.

Many diplomats from different countries, former Ambassadors, Committee Heads and Vivek Seigell Principle Director of PHDCCI were present there.

Noida: 2nd Global Fashion And Design Week Noida 2018 turned out to be lucky for Sandeep Marwah, not only the week became a big success in the fashion and design fraternity, it also brought laurels to Marwah.

Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios and Asian Education Group was nominated as the Chairperson of newly formed Indo Malaysian Film And Cultural Forum by H.E. Dato Hidayat Abdul Hamid The High Commissioner of Malaysia to India in a grand function during the first day of 2nd Global Fashion And Deign Week Noida 2018 at Noida Film City.

“Sandeep Marwah is an international personality and needs no introduction, he can be the Chairperson of the Forum. His experience, expertise and enthusiasm will add to our purpose,” said High Commissioner of Malaysia H.E Dato Hidayat Abdul Hamid.

“ I will take this responsibility whole heartedly and will prove soon the value of this organization to both the governments of India and Malaysia,” said Sandeep Marwah.

Sandeep Marwah is the recipient of more than 500 awards from all over the World. He has been Ambassador of Wales and cultural Ambassador of Many Countries. His title Global Cultural Minister really suits him informed Harshvardhan former Chief Engineer, Doordarshan, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India.

Dato Hidayat Abdul Hamid Presented With Patronship of IMFCF

Noida: The High Commission of Malaysia to India and International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry, to promote relations through art and culture, jointly launched an organization under the name and banner of IMFCF- Indo Malaysian Film And Cultural Forum on the first day of 2nd Global Fashion And Design Week Noida 2018 at Noida Film City.

Sandeep Marwah presented the first Patronship of the association to H.E. Dato’ Hidayat Abdul Hamid High Commissioner of Malaysia to India in a grand function at Marwah Studios in the presence of professionals from the films, television, media and fashion fraternity.

Dato’ Hidayat Abdul Hamid joined the Malaysian Public Service in 1992. He was the Ambassador of Malaysia to Kazakhstan since 2014 prior to his appointment as High Commissioner of Malaysia to India.

 He was previously the Deputy Director at the South East Asia Regional Centre for Counter-Terrorism (SEARCCT) from 2011 to 2014, Consul General of Malaysia in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia from 2007 to 2011 and Counsellor at the High Commission of Malaysia in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei from 2005 to 2007.

 Dato’ Hidayat Abdul Hamid had also served as First Secretary at the Embassy of Malaysia in Buenos Aires, Argentina from 1999 to 2003 and as Second Secretary at the High Commission of Malaysia in Colombo, Sri Lanka from 1996 to 1999.

Noida: History has been written when first ever Indo Malaysian Film And Cultural Forum launched during the 2nd Global Fashion And Design Week Noida 2018 at Film City Noida organized by AAFT.

The High Commissioner of Malaysia to India H.E. Dato Hidayat Abdul Hamid announced the formation of Indo Malaysian Film And Cultural Forum as a gift to 2nd Global Fashion And Design Week as a part and parcel of ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry.

“India and Malaysia enjoy a very strong bonding, we have wonderful diplomatic relations. To strengthen our relations we will work more through cultural diplomacy. Formation of Indo Malaysian Cultural Forum is a step towards the same,” said H.E Dato Hidayat Abdul Hamid High Commissioner of Malaysia while launching the forum.

“Sandeep Marwah is an international personality and needs no introduction, he can be the Chairperson of the Forum. His experience, expertize and enthusiasm will add to our purpose,” added High Commissioner of Malaysia H.E Dato Hidayat Abdul Hamid.

“I am pleased to accept the Chairmanship of IMFCF-Indo Malaysian Film And Cultural Forum. I am thankful to the High Commissioner for trusting me and believing in   our way of working. We assure you and your Government that we will bring our relations to new height through this association,” said Sandeep Marwah receiving the honor from the highest officer of Government of Malaysia to India.

 Ambassador of Gambia H.E Jainaba Jagne, renowned beauty queen Padma Shri Shahnaz Husain, former, Miss Universe Teen & AAFT Alumna Srishti Kaur , Mrs India Finalist 2015 Deepti Chibbe, Interior Designer Shailender Sharma and Ritu Lal Director AAFT School of Fashion and Design were witness to this historical event in a jam packed hall of Marwah Studios.

Later Sandeep Marwah honored H.E Dato Hidayat Abdul Hamid High Commissioner of Malaysia with the Patron Ship of IMFCF. Marwah announced immediately a scholarship of short-term course of AAFT for the deserving student from Malaysia.

Sandeep Marwah, six world record holder in media, has been earlier honored with some of the best titles from all over the World as Global Green Ambassador, World Cultural Minister, Global Cultural Minister, Man of Asia, Personality of the Decade, International Media Guru, Global Cultural Ambassador. His reach is now to 145 countries of the World. Recently he has been awarded Doctorate from Serbia and USA. He has been also honored in House of Common in British Parliament as Peace Ambassador and Champion of Wales in Cardiff.

India and Malaysia both countries are full members of the Commonwealth of Nations, Asian Union and G15. Various cultural and historical ties that date back to antiquity also connect India and Malaysia. The two countries are on excellently friendly terms with each other seeing as Malaysia is home to a strong concentration of Indian immigrants.
