ICMEI Hosted ASEAN Meet at Marwah Studios



Noida: A Great gala affair was planned in the honour of 30 ladies representing eight different countries under ASEAN Ladies Circle at Marwah Studios to make them aware of the World class facilities of film & television production,  media education & training and case study of international renowned Sandeep Marwah at Noida Film City.

“We are more than happy to receive the wives of diplomats of eight countries who are now residing in Delhi under their diplomatic transfer. It is a golden opportunity to support eight cultural forums through this international event. I am thankful to all of you for giving us an opportunity to express ourselves,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and seven times World Record Holder.

Sandeep Marwah narrated his journey from 1986, the formation of Noida Film City to his achieving seven World records. He spoke about his ups and downs of business and creation of one of the best media University at Raipur. The ladies visited studios, got involved with radio station, television station, film shooting and other educational activities.

Datin Mariaratnah Binti Hj Apong Spouse of Head of Mission of Brunei, Nadiah Ahmad Rafie, Norzainah Hj Ramlee and Nur Amani Yahya from Brunei attended the seminar.

Katmany Chouanghom Spouse of Head of Mission of Laos, Pranom Boupha, Daovone Saritthirath and Soudalath Inthavong from Laos were there. Datin Rozita Spouse of Head of Mission of Malaysia, Termeeta Kaur Banwait and Nur Aida Sulaiman from Malaysia joined the show.

Khin Mar Thi from Myanmar, Cristina G. Juan, Sabina C. Moreno,  Corazon Digna C. Moreno of Philippines, Patricia Teh Spouse of Head of Mission of Singapore, Van Tramy, Felicia Tohp and  Choo Souw Hwa from Singapore attended the conference. M.L Piyawan Gongsakdi Spouse of Head of Mission of Thailand and Rachaneekorn from Thailand were the participants.

Bui Thi To Lan Spouse of Head of Mission of Vietnam, Doan Thi Hoa, Tran Thi Linh, Nguyen Thu Hoai, Nguyen Thi Minh Hue,  Duong Hong Lien, Vu Thi Hue, Vu Hoang Oanh, Tran Thi Thuy Linh from Vietnam participated in the summit.

Earlier an exhibition of paintings from Vietnam and followed by the seminar was inaugurated by H.E. Pham Sanh Chau Ambassador of Vietnam to India. “We have been able to learn quite new things related to films and television during these hours which we enjoyed at Marwah Studios,” said H.E. Pham Sanh Chau Ambassador of Vietnam . Sandeep Marwah presented life membership of International Women’s Film Forum to every individual.

Road Show On Vietnam Tourism at ICMEI


Noida: IVFCF-Indo Vietnam Film And Cultural Forum of ICMEI-International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry organized a powerful workshop and roadshow on the tourism of Vietnam recently at Marwah Studios.

“The Republic of India and the Socialistic Republic of Vietnam enjoy strong bilateral relations. Cultural and economic links between India and Vietnam date back to 2nd century. In contemporary era, relations between India and Vietnam have been governed by several areas of shared political interests,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI and initiated the program.

Speaking at the event, H.E. Pham Sanh Chau Ambassador of Vietnam to India and Patron to Indo Vietnam Cultural Forum recalled the long-standing history and cultural ties between Vietnam and India, including Buddhism and yoga.

He highlighted that Indian airline IndiGo recently launched Kolkata - Hanoi direct air service and is preparing for the launch of New Delhi - Ho Chi Minh City route. Vietnam has also offered e-visas at border gates, thus simplifying procedures for Indian travellers to Vietnam.

Subhash Goyal, Chairman of the STIC Travel Group of Companies, lauded Vietnam as one of the world’s most beautiful countries and one of the top five emerging destinations with special cuisine and culture, vibrant business and hospitable people. He said the potential of tourism links between the two nations remains huge.

The event was co-organized by the Embassy of Vietnam in India, AAFT University and Aurantiaco an event management company. Nguyen Le Thanh Deputy Chief of the Mission, Pham Tri Dung First Secretary Economic Section, Ho Thi Van First Secretary Head of the information and media section and Pruthi Ranjan of Victoria tours were also present there.

Later Dr. Sandeep Marwah also Chair for Indo Vietnam Film And Cultural Forum honored the dignities with membership of the forum. Large number of travel agents, tour operators, travel and tourism schools and travel journalists attended the road show.

Indo Vietnam Film And Cultural Association Formed at ICMEI


Indo Vietnam Film And Cultural Forum Launched


Noida: First time in the history of Indo Vietnam diplomatic relations a cultural forum has been jointly created by the Embassy of Vietnam in India and International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry at Marwah Studios, Noida Film City, the fastest growing film city of the World.

“History has been written in the books of Indian and Vietnam Relations when an organization has been formed to develop and promote relation between two countries through films, television, media, art and culture,” said Sandeep Marwah renowned art promoter and President of ICMEI.

“Today is a unique day for us, we have gone full-fledged Into the cultural diplomacy with India. I am sure we will be able to make our relations much stronger through the promotion of art and culture,” said H.E. Ambassador of Vietnam in India.

A poster was launched to mark the opening of the forum and respect to the culture, flags of two nations. H.E. nominated Sandeep Marwah a popular international personality from India as the Chairperson of the organization and in return Sandeep Marwah handed over the patron ship to the Ambassador of Vietnam.

Secretary General ICMEI Ashok Tyagi, Directors of ICMEI Sushil Bharti, Haripriya Thakur and Rajiv Mathur  along with Ms Ho Thi Van First Secretary Information & Culture, Tran Le Tien Counsellor in Embassy, Pham Tri Dung First Secretary and Ngyuyen Van Dung First Secretary of the Embassy, Assistant Secretary ICMEI Sherya Katyal, witnessed the historical event.

IVFCF will start its operation from now onwards with series of projects planned already including handing over the scholarship, film festivals, student exchange program, institutional tie ups, fashion, education and tourism promotion etc.

“Who can be better than His Excellency to guide us to explore the new ideas and ways to develop and promote relations between two countries,” added Marwah while presenting the memento to the Ambassador.

I am lucky to be the part of this historical moment when for the first time this kind of organization has been created in last 70 years of our diplomatic relations with India,” said H.E. Ton Sinh Thanh Ambassador of Vietnam.

Noida: International personality and an educationist Dr. Sandeep Marwah has been nominated as the Chairperson of newly constituted body by the Embassy of Vietnam in India under the name and banner of Indo Vietnam Film And Cultural Forum to promote and develop relations between two countries in a big way.

“We are proud of Sandeep Marwah who has such a powerful past performance. His expertize in Cultural Diplomacy has convinced and influenced us that he is the right person to be the showman of this forum,” said H.E.Ton Sinh Thanh Ambassador of Vietnam to India while honoring Marwah with the plaque of appointment of honorary chair of IVFCF.

“I am thankful of the confidence His Excellency has shown in me to take the relations of India and Vietnam to the next platform. I am ready and charged with new energy to work for this cause and will leave no stone unturned to fulfill the desires and demands of both the countries,” said Sandeep Marwah now Chair of IVFCF.

Sandeep Marwah is six times World Record Holder in films, television, Media, art and culture. He is the recipient of more than 500 hundred accolades and appreciations from all over the World.

Global Peace Summit at Noida Film City




Noida: ‘The World needs Peace. Life is uncertain and other activities have made it more uncertain. Lets work together to bring in Peace to the World by extending love and unity through arts and culture,” said Sandeep Marwah President of AAFT & World Peace Development And Research Foundation at Marwah Studios.

27 Countries of the World participated in a full day conference organized by ICMEI-International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry supported by Asian Academy of Film And Television and International Film And Television Club, Ministry of External Affairs and Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India.

The lighting of lamp ceremony was performed by Rosealice kathambi Arimba of Kenya, Nguyen Thi Huong of Vietnam, Sayyod Azizov of Tajikistan and Malish John Juma of South Sudan. Garlanding of Ganesha was performed by Munikwa David Tarirai of Zimbabe and Nyamme Baafi Eric of Ghana.

The first session started by Fatou Faboure Djiba of Senegal, Mohammad Essa Obaidi of Afghanistan, Kavita Bulkoon of Trinidad & Tobago and Youssef Samir Mikhaer Tadrous of Egypt. The second session commenced by Ushahemba Simeon of Nigeria, Alieu B Swaray of Liberia, Prisca Ntombikayise Mhlanga of Swaziland and Ursula Utsaha Singh of Nepal.


Many valid points were discussed and useful results were noted down in relations to art and culture. The summit was followed by entertainment program where all the delegates participated and enjoyed in music and dance program together.

Delegates from all the countries nominated Sandeep Marwah as the Global Cultural Minister for his untiring contribution to love peace and unity through art and culture.

The summit was attended by foreign delegates from Afghanistan, Senegal, Swaziland, Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda, Ethiopia, Nepal, Cote D’ lvoire, Fiji, Jamaica, Zimbabwe, Vietnam, Nigeria, Tanzania, Madagascar, Liberia, Trinidad & Tobago, Egypt, Guyana, Ghana, Tajikistan, Gabon, Botswana, South Sudan, Cameron and India.

Later Sandeep Marwah honored every delegate with the life membership of WPDRF-World Peace Development And Research Foundation and memento of Global Peace Summit. All the members took oath to work towards World Peace.
