ICMEI Hosted ASEAN Meet at Marwah Studios



Noida: A Great gala affair was planned in the honour of 30 ladies representing eight different countries under ASEAN Ladies Circle at Marwah Studios to make them aware of the World class facilities of film & television production,  media education & training and case study of international renowned Sandeep Marwah at Noida Film City.

“We are more than happy to receive the wives of diplomats of eight countries who are now residing in Delhi under their diplomatic transfer. It is a golden opportunity to support eight cultural forums through this international event. I am thankful to all of you for giving us an opportunity to express ourselves,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and seven times World Record Holder.

Sandeep Marwah narrated his journey from 1986, the formation of Noida Film City to his achieving seven World records. He spoke about his ups and downs of business and creation of one of the best media University at Raipur. The ladies visited studios, got involved with radio station, television station, film shooting and other educational activities.

Datin Mariaratnah Binti Hj Apong Spouse of Head of Mission of Brunei, Nadiah Ahmad Rafie, Norzainah Hj Ramlee and Nur Amani Yahya from Brunei attended the seminar.

Katmany Chouanghom Spouse of Head of Mission of Laos, Pranom Boupha, Daovone Saritthirath and Soudalath Inthavong from Laos were there. Datin Rozita Spouse of Head of Mission of Malaysia, Termeeta Kaur Banwait and Nur Aida Sulaiman from Malaysia joined the show.

Khin Mar Thi from Myanmar, Cristina G. Juan, Sabina C. Moreno,  Corazon Digna C. Moreno of Philippines, Patricia Teh Spouse of Head of Mission of Singapore, Van Tramy, Felicia Tohp and  Choo Souw Hwa from Singapore attended the conference. M.L Piyawan Gongsakdi Spouse of Head of Mission of Thailand and Rachaneekorn from Thailand were the participants.

Bui Thi To Lan Spouse of Head of Mission of Vietnam, Doan Thi Hoa, Tran Thi Linh, Nguyen Thu Hoai, Nguyen Thi Minh Hue,  Duong Hong Lien, Vu Thi Hue, Vu Hoang Oanh, Tran Thi Thuy Linh from Vietnam participated in the summit.

Earlier an exhibition of paintings from Vietnam and followed by the seminar was inaugurated by H.E. Pham Sanh Chau Ambassador of Vietnam to India. “We have been able to learn quite new things related to films and television during these hours which we enjoyed at Marwah Studios,” said H.E. Pham Sanh Chau Ambassador of Vietnam . Sandeep Marwah presented life membership of International Women’s Film Forum to every individual.

Marwah Studios Will Support ASEAN Meet by PHDCCI

New Delhi; PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industries will soon present a summit with ASEAN countries to boost the commerce and trade between these countries that was decided in a meeting held by the international Committee of PHDCCI under the leadership of Ajay Podar Committee Chairman.

ASEAN was established on 8 August 1967 in Bangkok by the five original member countries: Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand. Brunei Darussalam joined on 8 January 1984, Vietnam on 28 July 1995, Laos and Myanmar on 23 July 1997, and Cambodia on 30 April 1999. All the Ten countries will participate in this economic summit.

“The ASEAN Declaration states that the aims and purposes of the Association are: to accelerate the economic growth, social progress and cultural development in the region through joint endeavors in the spirit of equality and partnership in order to strengthen the foundation for a prosperous and peaceful community of Southeast Asian nations,” informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Chair for Art and Cultural Committee at PHD.

“The second aim is to promote regional peace and stability through abiding respect for justice and the rule of law in the relationship among countries in the region and adherence to the principles of the United Nations Charter. In 1995, the ASEAN Heads of State and Government re-affirmed that “Cooperative peace and shared prosperity shall be the fundamental goals of ASEAN,” added Dr. Marwah confirming the participation of Marwah Studios.

Many diplomats from different countries, former Ambassadors, Committee Heads and Vivek Seigell Principle Director of PHDCCI were present there.

Pattaya Attracts Global Cultural Minister Sandeep Marwah

Pattaya, 2nd April 2018: Pattaya is a seaside resort on the Eastern Gulf Coast of Thailand about 150 km southeast of Bangkok. Pattaya is mostly famous for its go-go and beer bars, but local authorities have made some efforts to provide more family-friendly attractions and activities.

 “It is not possible in India, although the sex industry is still going strong and sex tourism remains the key money earner for Pattaya, the resort also attracts local families and holidaymakers from around the world,” said Sandeep Marwah Managing Director of National Federation of Tourism And Transport Cooperatives of India Limited at press meet at Hilton Hotels and Resorts at Pattaya.

Pattaya attracts 8 million tourists in a year. Thailand, Russia and China were the top three markets for Pattaya with a combined market share of 59 per cent.  They were followed by Germany and Taiwan, thus displacing the British who have traditionally been seen as the largest foreign group.

 “Looking back, tourism growth in Pattaya entered a new age with the opening of Suvarnabhumi international airport in 2006 and the subsequent opening of the fast-track motorway linking to the Eastern Seaboard resort.” Added Marwah also President of Asian Institute of Hospitality and Tourism.

Bangkok 31stMarch, 2018: The renowned Global Art and Cultural Minister Sandeep Marwah visited Bangkok in Thailand and was well received by the people of Thailand at Bangkok the capital of  country.

“The culture and arts of Thailand have been influenced by India and to a lesser extent China as well as by ancient civilization in Cambodia, Laos, Burma, Malaysia and Indonesia,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios in a press meet at Hotel Grand Hyatt at Bangkok.

“Perhaps the two greatest influences on Thai culture are Buddhism and The Ramakien (the Thai version of the Indian epic, the Ramayana). Many elements
from the Indian-Hindu tradition hold a high place in the Thai arts,” added Marwah also Managing Director of National Federation of Tourism And Transport Cooperative of India Limited.

Apart from architecture and sculpture, the height of Thai culture is also reflected in literature, music, and the performing arts. Thai literary works are a treasure trove of wisdom, entertaining stories, clever word play, food for thought, Buddhist principles, and historical facts.
